Well I decided to make the male hero of the 4thgen games.
I know it's now very good but here it is anyways

Yeah, it needs some work.

The head looks all squished and there's no apparent outlines to it. You can easily tell that you've taken different parts of other Sprites to make this. Revise and Re-Do.

Keep trying and you'll get better. Also note that D/P Sprites have much more depth and shading to them than the Advanced Sprites.

It should look more like a DS Sprite rather than a GBA Sprite. The shading in Diamond and Pearl is similar to Sugimori art, and you should really put those elements into your sprite. Another thing, it looks far too much like an Adult Trainer rather than a 10-year-old game protagonist.

 

[Jetx]

It's OK but I think it needs more shading and its left arm is kind of hard to make out.
