Okay, it's about time we got one of these over here. The Diamondshippers Society is a club for any and all supporters of GiovannixDelia.

I really think this is getting somewhere now. 2 members in 3 days... not bad.

Regarding Mewtwo Returns, I too think that there's no way they'd recognize each other. Ash, obviously, has never seen Gio, and Gio... well, he was just insane at the time. His son was the last thing on his mind. Besides, his memories of the events got erased at the end, so there's no way he would have remembered. Next anti-shipping argument?

And did you see on Bulbagarden someone posted the translation of that passage from that book that people use to claim that Ash knows his father, and it shows exactly the opposite? That he has no idea what his father's like and that Delia lied to him about such?

Sadly, what I said about the book is a double-edged sword--another writer may have a different idea.

I don't know about that but I think in a live version of the show with real people acting and stuff I read (somewhere) that Delia and Giovanni used to date when they were younger (and she was part of team rocket too but didn't like it I think...) anywya in that live show Giovanni was Ash's father

Actually, Live said that they dated before Delia met Ash's father. But she could have been lying.

Why would Delia lie about dating him? Seems kinda stupid to me... It's been ages since I've seen Live.

No no, she could have been lying about someone else being the father. I mean, it took her that long to admit she'd dated Giovanni, right?

Oh, I was about to say, I recall Professor Oak being in that scene...

Though when you're stuck in a cage, I doubt you admit that your captor fathered your son.
