Diaruga or Parukia- people with one of these Pokemons only

Hullo, I'm certainly going to get either Diamond or Pearl, but I just can't decide which one to get. I'm basing my decision solely on which main legendary type is better- Parukia or Diaruga. Now, I think that Diaruga looks infinitely cooler, but, as neither steel nor dragon types are particularly effective against a wide range of stuffs (please don't kill me fanbouys), I think that Parukia (water- dragon) is almost certainly a better type option, what with only having one weakness and and water having a huge range of things which it's super effective against. I also think that Parukia's Aeroblast like Space break is a better move than Diaruga's irritatingly rechargeable Time Roar.
I'd like to ask that only people who have actually owned both of these legendaries vote. So, who has better stats??

Well, we know somebody is gonna have to get both versions and then keep restarting to get us the legendary we don't have. (They gotta have 2 DS's too) Cause I only got one DS and i'm not giving up my Parukia, unless someone finds a Cloneing glitch in D/P. (Wich is hopeful.)

I'd say neither... and no... not vikings either. I just don't like legendaries and really don't care. lol I just like the "underdogs" so to speak. I like having a different team.

I would get Diamond, since Peral has the one I want. This way, I can trade over WiFi. I'll have the legendary I want, and both in my pokedex.

Get diaruga. It has a total of 11 resistances and one immunity. Plus, it has a unique type combination, looks cooler, and time roar's annoying immobilization effect can be handled by letting it use dragon pulse instead.

Can't be affected at all by a certain type. In this case, its poison.

It's immune to poison. I don't have diamond or pearl (don't know any japanese) but I do know that all steel types are immune to poison.

Well statical comparison of the two I chose Diaruga with good HP and good Def. Though Parukia has good Sp. Def and Spd.

Not really, because of the number of resistances Diaruga has.

Diaruga is better because it is immune to poison attacks, which means it can't get poisoned (being poisoned is significantly worse than being burned, frozen, and any other effect)

Parukia hurts a load more than Dialga, though. It has a helpful buddy, Kyogre, to go along with it, and the speed actually do mean something. At max Timid it outruns Modest Lati@s and Kyogre, Jolly Groudons, and pretty much other stuff that likes to sneak at 320 just to outspeed the clown dragons. Palkia also works better in 2v2, as it can abuse Double Surfing with Kyogre (Kyogre will still take a dent but the opponent gets wiped out much faster....watch out for protect). Dialga can fit into a team slightly easier due to it's Steel/Dragon typing, though, but it doesn't have the sweeping capability of Parukia

I think that diaruga is a much better pokemon than parukia. For one thing it looks better and parukia is pink and it dont like pink, where as diaruga is blue and I like blue.
