Did Anyone else think Mystery Dungeon was heartwarming?

The Rising Sun
I think it was. I cried when Caterpie and friends came to see my team leave.

It was so nice to see the pokemon I rescued return to see us off.

Anyone else think so?

I wanted Shaymin! :(
Your spoiler tag is off, check the FAQ.

On-topic, I agree that it was sad to see my character get hunted by other rescue teams because of Gengar's lies. I felt like he should have died in the Sinister Woods.

I'm going through the games again, so I haven't seen the events where you free Gardevoir, so I can't say whether I should have let him get cursed or not.

i did aswell.
and when your partner belived in you so much, but in the end you have to return to the human world.
but then your starter wishes really hard to return to his/her friends.
it was so sweet ;_;

Yeah the ending was pretty sad. However when I came back that was just messed up and then worst of all my partner doesn't follow me around anymore.

Yes... it was melancholy... (especially when I learned that Caterpie destroyed Steelix:D) There were also other feelings...

Angry- Alakazam trying to kill you when you meet Ninetales...
Euphoric- When Ho-Oh called me a 'true hero'...
Afraid- When I was about to fight Mewtwo... (what a pushover)
Confused- When Charizard couldn't beat Groudon but could go to Western Cave 99f....

going to be fugitives made me choke up, the ending (especilly seeing what a nervous wreck flare the charmander was in) made me cry, i wanted to poungd gengar"s head into the ground because of what he did.

herd u liek mudkips?
I cried at the ending. I will always remember that conversation:

"But...why? Why do you have to leave? Didn't we...aren't we friends?" "Yes. You will always be my friend, [Insert Partner name here]. I will never forget you."

Although I didn't quite get the returning seen. It was nice, though...

What I also didn't get was Gengar saving you. Didn't Gengar say he would drag you into the dark world? So how is that saving you? And why does your partner say "Perhaps...Gengar saved [Your name] too?" after you've already woken up?

It was also heartwarming when everyone saw you off before you became a fugitive.

EVERYBODY DANCE NOW!
I cried at the end!
It was so sad...;351-r; <--('Cause it looks like a tear.)
I cried, and I'm a guy, so TAKE THAT GENDER STEREOTYPES!
It was just so happy when the main character came back.
It mood was just ruined, though, when it was just like, "Next day proceeds like nothing ever happened!"

Incidentally, what's the forum code for the Spoiler button? I'm just curious, 'cause it's something that would be handy in topics like this.

Feel my soul
Yeah, especially at the part where you

where you leave the town and become fugitives.

I find it heartwarming how your partner never gives up hope and you, and trusts you. ^^

Plot-wise, this is one of the best spin-offs Nintendo has ever made.
