Actually, there are now two Pokemon to die and stay dead. [SPOIL]Lucario dies in the 8th movie.[/SPOIL] Plus I think we've lost one or two human characters as well. It's a sad, sad thing... -_-;

I always thought Serebii did die and was resurrected, but it's been ages since I've watched the Japanese version. Now I'll have to go check for myself.

Well, Serebii really died like you said but he was brought to life again, about latios i dont think that he really died because on the ending credits ash saw a non colored shadow of Latios flying with his dad, probaly theyr souls?
