Hiya, guys! I just wanted to know if you finished your Colo or XD game with or without a handbook... ^^;

Well, in Colo, I used a handbook, since I was new to playing GameCube games. It helped me a lot, and there's no way I could've passed it without it... XD But now, since I'm experienced, I could just use the handbook to look for the trainer's Pokemon.

And, in XD, I didn't have a handbook, so I just played the game without one. Trust me, it was hard, but I managed to pass the game at least once. (it's much more challenging when you play without a handbook... XD)

So, tell me what you guys did! ^^

i completed both without any handbook because i didnt have the handbook. If i did i would have only used it when i got stuck.

Better then you
I didn't need a guidebook for either one of them. I just went around looking for what I needed to do.

So long
I didn't use a handbook for any of these games. I didn't even know that there existed handbooks' for them.

I don't like handbooks that much, to tell you the truth. Completing the game without one makes it much fun and more challenging. I completed XD and Colosseum without one.

After a few months of winning Colosseum, I checked a handbook and it turned out I forgot Togetic guy o_O so yeah, I went to battle Togetic guy and all of that. So that's why I check the handbooks/walkthroughs/whatever after finishing the game, so I'd check I didn't miss anything :p

Yes, I'm weird.

I never use them walkthrough guidebooks a first time through. I like to wander around aimlessley if i get stuck and train up a bit, them i seem relativly stronger when i finally find out what to do. But i never got stuck on either of the Colosseum games. They're pretty damn straight forward.

I will look at online walkthroughs to see if i've missed owt after a few playthroughs myself.

I completed XD with a handbook so I could see the trainer's Pokemon in Mt. Battle and the Colluseums. I used it to find the Battle CDs too.

I did it!!
I used to never go through a game without a handbook but now I almost never use them...

I used one for Collosseum...

Not for XD though I heard most of the plot here before I got it...

i never use a handbook! what's the fun if you do?!?!?! the fun part is exploring and finding out! i use handbooks only once i've played the game fully at least once, then i get the handbook when i'm playing it the second time to remeber where everything is!

Without. Pokémon games are painfully easy. There's no need for one. :)

I rarely use guides in any game whatsoever, though. Unless I'm completely stuck and I've tried everything that's occured to me.
