Hello everybody! The old thread got closed so I thought I could do it all again. I have gathered up all the information from the old thread but since it would be boring having a blob of text like a funky dictionary I thought that I could post the stuff gradually. Here is my first bit, I will post some more tomorrow, and please post I don't want to double post...or crazy editing like in my old thread *shudders*.
~ The three Regis are thought to be representative of certain time periods in the history of the Earth, Regirock being the Stone Age representative, Regice representing the Ice Age, and Registeel for the Iron Age or the Space Age, (maybe the Modern Age because technology is advancing towards robots, which Registeel sort-of represents)
~ Lugia is intended to be the guardian of the three legendary birds: Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. Its role is analogous to that of Ho-oh and its guardianship of the three legendary beasts (Raikou, Entei and Suicune).
~ Strangely, when a Ditto laughs while transformed, it cannot hold its transformation. This is a major weakness. (I wonder if Tangela's or Whiscash's Tickle can deactivate a transform attack..)
~ It is theorized, however, that Arcanine was one of the original three Legendary Pokémon, the other two being Zapdos and Articuno. It is thought the game designers decided to make all three legendary pokémon "birds" and so they replaced Arcanines status as the legendary fire Pokémon with Moltres
~ Even though Dragonair is known best for its ability to control the weather, it does not learn naturally any moves that change the weather in battle (such as Rain Dance, Sunny Day, or Hail). The weather-centric storyline of Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald make no mention of Dragonair either.
~ Girafarig is spelled the same way backwards. (Ho-Oh and Eevee also)
~ Porygon2 is the only Pokemon to have a number not spelled out. (Mewtwo/Porygon2) and Porygon2 resembles a toy drinking bird and moves like one in Pokemon Colosseum.
~ The three legendary bird’s last bit in their names end with uno (one) dos (two) tres (three)

(This was taken from Pokemon.com in the mailbag section under "You Are What You Eat!")
Seeing how common things in modern life are transformed into Pokemon (Crows-Murkrow, Raccoons-Zigzagoon, Butterfly-Butterfree, Pidgeon-Pidgey, etc), I guess meat would be Pokemon too right? (Perhaps Miltank and Tauros would be beef). But from Wailord's Wikipedia page it talks about the existence of krail. And Sneasel's page shows that it eats eggs (Could be Pokemon eggs, but we never know). I just wanted to put this up since noone mentioned it yet, and I bet lots of you had this come to mind at once.
~ The cut on Zangoose's chest looks like an M which I think stands for mongoose which Zangoose comes from. Also something I noticed a long time ago is when I was watching an episode of Pokemon, on the Trainer's Choice (Pokemon half-time when they have a question before the commercial and an answer when you get back to the show), the question was "Which one of these Pokemon does Arbok evolve into?" they listed three Pokemon, one of them being Seviper. I first thought it was a trick question since Arbok doesn't evolve but when it came back it said that it evolved into Seviper. I thought it was just me, but I got proof from Pokemon.com's Mail Bag.

Enjoy! Post some of your information and try to beat me to the rest of the information
I'll try to find some cool D/P stuff through time, but most likely after everything has been posted. (with an exception to the second one...hope the spoiler tag showed up...)
P.S.: Thankyou to everyone who participated in the last thread, more than 3/4 of the information came from you guys xD
