Digimon: Civil War - the *Reboot* (Signups)

God of Monsters
Digimon: Civil War
[the Reboot]
PG - 13

Creation began at a single point: Yggdrasil. The World Tree. The Tree of Life. All-Father. All-Mother. God. Goddess. Alpha. Omega. Genesis. Yggdrasil was the font of all Creation: the Miracle of Dawn. From the first spark of Yggdrasil's consciousness the Multiverse and all things within it came into being.

When the Multiverse was young and small, Yggdrasil walked among its creations. It guided them; it helped them and watched them grow. It provided laws and rules; peace and order. It provided its creations with the free will to follow or defy it as they saw fit. But as Creation changed - as Free Will and Life took hold and moved things beyond even Yggdrasil's wildest dreams - it became harder for Yggdrasil to maintain alone. So Yggdrasil called upon its most noble acolytes to govern the minutia of the Multiverse in its stead.

On the digital world of Eon, peace and order was kept by the Harmonious Ones, the great sovereigns of the digital world. Their influence and authority kept the would-be warring blocs of Eon in check; they served as mediators and peace-keepers when tensions and old feuds rose along faction lines. This served to maintain the Balance, Homeostasis - the fragile peace that allowed Eon to continue existing peacefully.

The Harmonious Ones did this through use of the World's Memories: the Chronicles. These eight powerful artifacts allowed the Harmonious Ones to gaze into the hearts and minds of all Digimon under their rule, to share these thoughts and emotions across the entire world and promote a sense of unified understanding through bonds of camaraderie. The Harmonious Ones, however, existed in cycles; and the end of their cycle was close at hand. To prepare the world for their coming absence, they chose capable leaders from among the various clans, as Yggdrasil had before them. They built the Eight Realms around these Digimon and bestowed each Realm with a corresponding Chronicle. The leaders were tasked with utilizing the Chronicles' powers to both help their kingdom prosper and bind them to the hearts and minds of the other kingdoms as well. They would create a unified world.

Their task complete, the Harmonious Ones retreated into the fractal code of the aether beyond Eon, leaving rule of Eon to the Eight Realms.

But these new leaders didn't see the value of a unified understanding; they saw the Chronicles as means to power. Conflict between the kingdoms erupted once again and Eon succumbed to war. The bloodshed and carnage of the battlefield, however, distorted the foundations of the digital world and gave birth monstrous entity of unfathomable destructive capability. This being came to be known as the Great Destroyer, and it carved a terrible path across the world, fueled by the conflict between the Eight Realms. It was only when the Eight Realms came together that they were able to deprive the Great Destroyer of his sustaining power; and their champions were able to defeat it. Finally understanding the role they played in keeping the Balance, the Eight Realms gathered together and coded the Realmpact - a binding program that guaranteed cooperation between the Eight Realms and prevented them from raising arms against one another.

And for years the Realmpact held. Eon was at peace.

For a while, at least.

The Digimon of the Metal Empire - who possessed the Chronicle known as "Adamantine, the Awakener" - were fastest to change. Their innate technological prowess and intellect combined with the Awakener allowed them to develop sophisticated technology and coding processes that eventually enabled them to secretly code themselves out of the Realmpact. The Metal Empire began to expand and usurp the other Realms, all under the façade of peace and the Realmpact by claiming to be "equal."

As the Metal Empire grew, the other Realms shrank drastically. Their lands were slowly stripped from them, right from under their noses. The Empire didn't claim that they were superior, but they knew it. Believing the current status quo to be the will of the Realmpact, the other Realms submitted to the authority of the Metal Empire, resulting in a peaceful takeover.

Still, the Empire didn't refer to it as such. They considered it to be a union of all the Realms. In fact, representatives from the Eight Realms were asked to reside in the Empire's technologically-advanced cities as ambassadors, so that peaceful communications and the will of the "Realmpact" could be continued. The other Realms were subjugated under the authority of the Empire and the supposed "Realmpact." They could do nothing without the Empire's permission, nor could they revolt lest they break the terms of the Realmpact. Only by breaking all ties with the Realms could a Digimon even take up arms against the Empire. But these "Realmless" - these "Ronin" - face impossible odds in the Empire's D-Brigade and Crack Team; specialized forces of mechanized Digimon with orders to "keep the peace." The Empire declared these soldiers the enforcers of the Realmpact; that their will and word was law.

Against the overwhelming power of these enforcers, the Realmless were swiftly brought to heel. Limited by their involvement with the Realmpact, none of the other Realms dared to stand against the Empire's wishes. Only one Digimon dared to continue the battle; one of the last surviving Ronin; the lion that dared to call himself "Bancho" and spit in the face of the Empire.

His name: Goliath Leonhardt. And by sworn oath to his dead comrades, he has vowed to lead his Realmless to victory, freedom, and (though he doesn't know it) the truth.

But time is short. The Balance has shifted. Darkness stirs.

=====The Eight Realms=====

Blue Coalition - Gifted with the Chronicle "Quicksilver, the Dreamer," the territories of the Blue Coalition are those of the seas, oceans, and frozen north. Citizens of this Realm are generally aquatic or polar Digimon; those who dwell in marine areas. The Coalition is divided into two separate blocs; the Oceanic (sea-dwelling) and the Boreal (arctic-dwelling), with each bloc ruling over its own affairs while supporting the other economically, socially, and politically. The Oceanic Blue are Eon's stewards of the wild oceans; their mission is to preserve the oceans even as Eon's cities and civilized places continue to grow. The Oceanic seeks to protect the elements of the world that are incompatible or mutually exclusive with its overpopulated, urban conditions. This is not easy, of course, because the forces of civilization are so prevalent with the rise of the Metal Empire that they threaten to subsume anything that runs counter to them. The Boreal, on the other hand, harbor little desire for expansion or conquest or involvement. They are a primarily nomadic people, but they fiercely defend their community against intrusion, both physical and cultural. The twin cities, Atlantis and Lemuria, serve as the capitals of the Coalition; with Lemuria serving as one of the few permanent Boreal settlements. The blocs are led by a pair of leaders, the Bluelords: the Deeplord Plesiomon and the Icelord Vikemon.
Leader(s): Plesiomon, Vikemon
Ambassador(s): MetalSeadramon

Dragon Hordes - The harsh volcanic regions of Eon are home to the draconic Digimon of the Dragon Hordes, bestowed with Chronicle "Promethium, the Igniter." The Hordes are only loosely affiliated, more out of begrudging respect for one another’s draconic nature than any political affinity for one another. Though most Hordes remain restricted to similar evolution lines, following their various hordechiefs into battle, a powerful Examon recently risen to the ancient rank of Khan and become a great unifier among the Hordes. The Hordes don’t have a capital; instead they gather within a molten caldera known as Skarrg, the Rage Pit. Since banding together, however, the Examon has centralised their power in the city Nastrond.
Leader(s): Examon
Ambassador(s): WarGreymon

Verdant Conclave - The lands of the Verdant Conclave are lush equatorial forests. Its citizens are insect and plant Digimon that dwell in the steamy tropics, and were given the Chronicle "Mithril, the Harvester." Divided by species but not in purpose, the Conclave understands the deeper connection all Digimon have with Eon and Yggdrasil itself. They believe themselves to be the voice of Yggdrasil. All within the Conclave are considered mouthpieces of that singular voice, and they seek to expand their Realm by evangelizing their message and adding members. This puts them in direct conflict with the Empire, which has vowed to wipe them out. The Verdant Conclave convenes in the hall of Edenia, also known as Yggdrasil's Cradle, a massive forest of interconnected trees, branches, and shimmering leaves that form a dome of forest and reflected light. Their "leader" is a Ceresmon who calls herself the "Voice of Resurgence" and surrounds herself with other high-ranking Conclave officials, the "Chorus of the Conclave." The Conclave's more militaristic branch is led by the insect-type Digimon under the command of a trio of generals.
Leader(s): Ceresmon. Rosemon/Lotusmon
Ambassador(s): TyrantKabuterimon

Metal Empire - Cold metal perfection defines all things in the Metal Empire. Citizens of this Realm are generally mechanical or mutant Digimon; those who inhabit in urban areas. Technology in the Empire is dramatically more advanced than anywhere else in Eon, due primarily to their advanced nature and their understanding of their Chronicle "Adamantine, the Awakener." The territories of the Metal Empire resemble futuristic utopias; full of wondrous scientific advances, pristine architecture, and relentless industry. Through these advances, the authorities of the Empire are able to actually program the makeup of the digital world around them and create anything they could envision. The Empire’s capital is Argentum, a technological paradise wonderland ruled over by the Metal Emperor: Shoutmon EX6
Leader(s): Shoutmon EX6

Unbowed Clans - The deep temperate forest and blistering deserts are home to the Unbowed Tribes; animal, beast, and monster Digimon that refuse to submit to any single authority except that of their Chronicle "Obsidian, the Hunter." Because of the constant encroachment on their lands and their fiercely territorial nature, the Clans would openly revolt against the Empire were it not for the binding powers of the Realmpact. More a loose affiliation of tribes, the Unbowed follow only the most powerful and dominant among them. Individuals join packs, which then join together into tribes, which finally gather into Clans. Warfare among the Unbowed is constant and almost ritualistic; the Clans believe that only the strong should survive and rule. The Unbowed are the most disenfranchised and hold the most anti-civilization views of all of Eon’s Realms, and as such are the most ill at ease in a world covered by city. Led by the dominant Alphas, the Unbowed only gather together on singular occasions that require conference; usually from the ruinous region known as the Hollowhenge of Razorverge.
Leader(s): DinoTigermon. MirageGaogamon, Spinomon, SaberLeomon.
Ambassador(s): MetalGarurumon, RustTyrannomon

Unhallowed Syndicate - The citizens of this Realm are demonic or undead Digimon, those who dwell in dark, haunted areas. Written into the Realmpact and given the Chronicle "Darksteel, the Purger" to keep them from declaring open war on the rest of Eon, the Syndicate exists now only to serve its own interest. The Syndicate was founded on the belief that wealth is power, that structure breeds wealth, and that guilt creates structure. The Realm is run like a combination religion, credit-lending agency, and criminal organization, with an ostentatious hierarchy of priests, enforcers, and ghostly councilors ruling over a congregation of guiltbound servants. Many Unhallowed Syndicate members truly believe that their rule is necessary for making Eon the best it can be, and they are unscrupulous in their methods of making sure they seize power. Most other citizens of Eon see the Syndicate for the corrupt organization they are, but many are lured in by their promises of wealth, prestige, and longevity. Within the Syndicate exists a secret society known as the Blood Cult. The Cult is a group of hedonists, sadists, criminals, and psychopaths under the leadership of a powerful vampiric demon: VenomMyotismon. The Cult combines a destructive urge with the desire for pleasure. Its members are sadistic and cruel simply for the fun of it. Extreme entertainments and personal enjoyment are their goals. They want Eon to bow to their whims and anything that gets in their way - or happens to be walking by - is fair game. The Blood Cult gathers and revels in the Blood Hall of Stensia. The Syndicate as a whole is presided over by the Seven Demon Council from the opulent palace of Rix Maadi.
Leader(s): Seven Demon Lords. VenomMyotismon
Ambassador(s): Beelzemon (2010)

Eternal Legion - The Eternal Legion is the Realm of righteous law and fierce justice inhabited by holy and heroic Digimon. Blessed with the power of the Chronicle "Platinum, the Avenger," they are the most formidable military force on Eon. Members of the Legion are efficient, self-assured, and passionate in the pursuit of their ideals. Sunhome, the Legion fortress, serves as both barracks and focal point of worship. The floating citadel known as Parhelion, occupies an awe-inspiring place in Eon’s sky. The Eternals believe passionately in law; to them it is the structure by which society functions and acts as the road map for the community's health and safety. Anything that violates the letter of the law, threatens the spirit of the law, or obstructs the enforcement of the law is considered an enemy of the Eternal Legion. The Eternals zealously embrace justice and the good of the community, and they are willing to use any means to enforce those beliefs. The structure of this guild is hierarchical and authoritarian. Every Legion member knows his or her place between superiors and those of lesser ranks, and there are protocols for interactions among those different ranks. Ambition toward personal advancement is discouraged. Realm members are taught to respect each other for what service they provide to the guild and to society. In the Legion, everyone has a well-defined function based on rank. From the grunts to the angels, each individual is tasked with particular responsibilities to ensure an efficient execution of Eternal ideals. Passion and zeal are encouraged as long as they fit within the belief structures of the guild. Their Warleader is a Susanoomon, who rose to the rank after defeating the previous Warleader in single combat.
Leader(s): Susanoomon
Ambassador(s): Rapidmon (Armor)

Astral Order - The Order is the Realm of sky and clouds, consisting of avian and flying Digimon granted the power of the Chronicle "Etherium, the Banisher." To the common Digimon of the order, discovery and enlightenment are the ultimate goals. Members of the Realm direct their energies toward learning and "ascending" to ever greater levels of accomplishment. Rigorous training for body and mind begins at an early age and is continued throughout one's life. The Order has a strong sense of tradition, honor, and respect. Outsiders may join the Order if they can demonstrate a commitment to its rigors. Age is a mark of honor, and elders are revered. The highest ranking members of the Order are also known as the Judges, and serve as Eon’s supposed government. Believing their legislation to be the singular force that prevents Eon from descending into chaos, the Order mediates and regulates the activities of all of the other Realms despite numerous of their decrees being ignored. The Judges are characterized as being aloof, bureaucratic, excessively formalistic, and fastidious, spending hours upon hours with legal documents and ensuring action, if any should occur, stringently adheres to protocol. The Judges and the Order make their decrees from spired city of Prahv. Their leader, an enormous Varodurumon, serves as Supreme Judge of the Order.
Leader(s): Varodurumon
Ambassador(s): Eaglemon

=====Digivolution=====

Digivolution: Permanent Digivolution in this RPG is incredibly difficult to achieve. That is why most instead use a temporary Digivolution (like that seen in the television series) It normally requires immense energy and as such, Digivolution will leave a character very drained. Mode Changing (Burst Mode, Blast Mode, Crimson Mode etc) is treated as Digivolving and fills the same criteria, namely that it requires a lot of energy to achieve. Should you receive a lot of damage, then for the purposes of realism you can regress to a lower form, however I will allow resting time between battles for us all to achieve our main form again before another battle.

DNA Digivolution is incredibly rare in this RP. Without human partners to produce the powerful emotional and psychological connections, the Digimon must rely on external sources of energy that are few and far between to generate the power needed for DNA digivolving. Only in very rare cases can two Digimon DNA digivolve on their own, and they must rely on rare sources of power such as Golden Digi-Eggs to unleash enough energy to permanently merge themselves together. Temporary DNA Digivolution is achievable more easily, but the resulting Digimon is less powerful than one permanently DNA Digivolved.

Biomerge Digivolution can be used by some of the more experienced Tamers to combine with their Digimon partner and form a powerful Mega Level Digimon. Essentially, Biomerging involves the Tamer and Digimon fusing together, with the Tamer held within the resultant Digimon’s body inside a sphere of energy. They are fully conscious and the Biomerge Digimon usually speaks with the voices of both Tamer and Digimon in synch, though one of them can speak without the other. Biomerge Digivolution produces a Digimon slightly more powerful than is usual than its Level, thus making any Biomerge Digimon a formidable ally or opponent.

=====Rules=====

1. No god-modding.
2. I am not imposing a character limit - primarily because this is Digimon and I like character interaction. That said, I'm asking that you only sign up with what you can handle.
3. Only control your own character unless given permission otherwise by the other character's owner.
4. No killing another player's N/PCs without their owner's permission.
5. If you wish to make an NPC with a large part then please just state that on the sign-ups so that it doesn't get killed. Otherwise it's open season.
6. You must have good grammar! Get a proofreader for all I care! Use the spell-check! Anything, just make sure things make sense. I can tolerate some slip-ups, but nothing on a constant basis.
7. Please try to post at least once every 2-5 days (unless you give me a reason why you can't). Any longer than that and we might lose you or leave you behind.
8. No making up histories for characters (even NPCs) that aren't your own.
9. I reserve the right to kick you out of this RPG if you break one of these rules seriously enough. I will, however, give you a chance to explain or redeem yourself beforehand in case I've missed anything.
10. I don't do reservations. Let me know if you're interested and I'll keep you in mind. But I review everything on a "first completed (ie. up to standards), first approved" order.

Name: Ajax Vol
Species: MedievalGallantmon
Gender: Male
Age: 37
Appearance: Ajax's appearance is pretty standard for his species; he has altered the nature of the Dunas lance so that it can be separated (in half) into two shorter weapons: one with the axe head, and the other with the spear point.

Personality: Ajax is focused and determined. He's as tough as iron and just as unyielding. While he may come off as callous and cold-hearted, Ajax is simply a realist - he understands the reality of his situation and the war he attempts to wage against a vast and indomitable empire. The tragedies in his past have left him slow to trust, and he prefers solitude to the company of strangers or even allies. Even so, once someone has gained Ajax's trust he will stand by them until the end.

His desire to appear cold and ruthless belie his innate nobility; and while he is indeed brutal and merciless, he refuses to be cruel. Despite this, Ajax struggles with his darker inclinations; his greatest strength is his penchant for violence and his ability to cut a bloody path through whatever stands in his way. He fears losing himself to his "blood-red rage"; he is aware of the near-sentience of his anger and darkness, and struggles to reign in his berserker tendencies. Despite his realism (or pessimism) he chooses to believe in a better, free future.

History: Ajax was born among the Dragon Hordes and was immediately thrust into the Hordes' struggle for power. To the Hordes, combat strength was everything, and they prided themselves on creating the fiercest warriors in the world. Ajax aspired to that ideal; and dedicated himself fully to draconic perfection. He spent his youth perfecting the violent arts; purging himself of weaknesses and sentimentality. His achievements caught the eye of his hordechief, who tasked him with accompanying the dragons' ambassador to the Metal Empire. He had learned the virtues of the Hordes well, but some lessons could only be taught on the outside world.

It was in the Empire's capital of Argentum that Ajax learned of excess, corruption, and cruelty. The Ambassador only wanted Ajax to serve as a test subject for the Empire's manipulations, and was rewarded handsomely for choosing the most capable of subjects. Believing it to simply be another step in his training, Ajax submitted willingly to the first battery of tests; ones that stretched his endurance, strength, and mental fortitude. In reality, the tests were meant to turn him into the perfect agent of the Empire. Without even realizing it, he had been reconditioned to act as the Empire's obedient dog. Under orders from the Ambassador, he joined the Crack Team on missions. He believed utterly in the Empire's decree: that the world of Eon would be better under the Metal Empire, that "All Will Be One."

His realization came during a mission to subdue dissent in the territory of the Dragon Hordes. Only after losing himself to his bloodlust and cutting through dozens of his own people did he come to his senses and realize what he'd done. His rage shattered the hold the conditioning had over him, and he turned on the Empire soldiers, unleashing every ounce of draconic fury he had within him. When that rage subsided, he looked over the battlefield and found himself the last survivor. The data of the fallen swirled around him, coalescing into the spirit of an ancient dragon god. Ajax reached out for the spirit, and was overwhelmed by its power as it merged with and changed him.

Ajax wandered in a fog of uncertainty for days, unused to his new, humanoid form. The power of the dragon spirit guided him, and he found himself in the mountains at the edge of the world, standing before an old monastery. In the monastery he found a master warrior who claimed to have severed his bonds with all that might hold him. He claimed he was now "Realmless" - a ronin - and that he was truly free. This master - a Gankoomon named Ugin - recognized Ajax's rage as his own and offered to teach Ajax how to control it, rather than be controlled by it. He introduced Ajax to his other student, Goliath Leonhardt, and the two spent the next several years training under Ugin.

Goliath would eventually leave the monastery; eager to test his strength against the indomitable force of the Metal Empire. He vowed to bring more of the oppressed into the fold of Realmless. Ajax, however, chose to remain. His fury still bubbled underneath his calm exterior, and he feared losing control as he once had all those years before.

Only after hearing of Goliath's struggles, has Ajax finally chosen to come down from the mountain and help his friend.

Name: Surrak Dragonclaw
Species: WarGreymon X
Gender: Male
Age: 28
Appearance: His appearance is pretty typical for a member of his species, though his hair is longer and more wild than most.
Personality: Surrak is rough, brash, and unrefined. He hails from the Dragon Hordes where strength and fighting ability was valued above all else, so his entire upbringing was geared towards maximizing his potential. He seeks to push the limit on what he can accomplish on the field of battle; gladly taking missions and diving into combat where his allies might hesitate. He is quick to make decisions and they're more often than not very rash ones. He's known for jumping into a situation with both feet...or jumping in headfirst...and without looking. He's famous for his wrath and rage, he's prone to whipping up tremendous firestorms when angered. He actually blacks out during these fits. However, recently his association and time spent with Jaeger has served to temper that anger somewhat. Surrak is steadfastly loyal and has a strong sense of honor and duty. However, combined with his fiery attitude, this often leads him to take insults to others as insults to himself, and he reacts violently. Surrak's youth does nothing to soften his temper. He has an easy-going side and a bit of a wild streak, and he's been known to raise a bit of hell from time to time and city to city. Surrak is powerful and he knows it. Surrak isn't afraid to let enemies know that either. If it benefits a situation, he's perfectly happy to let an enemy hit him just to show how durable and unaffected he is. He also isn't above unnecessary shows of brute physical force, going so far as to purposely miss a punch in order to break something else and get into his opponent's head. Surrak is intense, always living as if there is a sun burning behind his eyes.

History: Surrak's horde lived in a mountainous range of fiery volcanoes. His home was far from the Horde meeting place of Skarrg, but its members were no less fiery. Surrak's tribe was one of warriors and fighters. While some dragon lines sought martial perfection through weapons training and combat prowess, Surrak's line and tribe sought to perfect the savage, brutal nature of draconic warfare. They believed that overwhelming force, unmatched ferocity, and unstoppable will could overcome any technique and strategy contrived of by "weak-minded cowards," and Surrak strove to embody this ideal.

He engaged in bouts of ritualized combat in the fighting pits of the Hordes, representing his tribe from the moment he could first swing a claw. He emerged victorious time and time again, relying on his sheer tenacity to carry him through otherwise unwinnable confrontations. Over time he rose through the ranks of his tribe's fighters until he became recognized as the greatest single combatant in the tribe: "the Foremost." His title enabled him to challenge the Foremost combatants of other tribes and hordes, where he was determined to defeat them all and become the "First Among Equals." But he was defeated.

Ashamed, Surrak retreated from life in the Hordes and sought isolation, search out the ultimate expression of draconic fury. He realized that he couldn't be beholden to the limitations of the Hordes. In doing so, Surrak unintentionally - and without knowing it - divorced himself from the Hordes and the Realmpact itself. When he returned, he sought out the one who had defeated him and challenged him once more. This time, in his Mega form, the other dragon didn't stand a chance. And so Surrak's quest began again; and there was no dragon who could stand in his way. After he became recognized as the "First Among Equals" word spread, and he became known as the "Dragonclaw."

As the First, Surrak was tasked with representing the Hordes in border delegations. In a disagreement with the Metal Empire, Surrak's nature as "Realmless" came to light. His impulsiveness caused him to lash out violently at the Emprie's representative, and because of this he was forced into exile under the threat of death. He wandered in exile for some time until he encountered Goliath and his Ronin. Recognizing them as kindred spirits, he chose to wander with them instead of wandering alone.

Higher Form/s: VictoryGreymon
Lower Form/s: MetalGreymon X -> Greymon X -> Agumon X
Other: N/A

Name: Jaeger Rhimewind
Species: MetalGarurumon X
Gender: Male
Age: 28
Appearance:
Personality: Cold intensity are the perfect words to describe Jaeger. He is focused, tactical, and cerebral. His ability to analyze and break down situations is unmatched outside of the Metal Empire's best strategists. This ability to extends to other Digimon as well; Jaeger can analyze a Digimon's habits, tendencies, and even speech patterns, and then figure out their motives, intentions, and even their thoughts. He sees things in terms of tactical data; acceptable losses, risk percentages, odds of success. This gives him a unique insight into his peers that causes him to suffer from feelings of detachment; his abilities separate him from the vast majority of the population, and he always feels like an outsider. It's hard for him to get over and move past this feeling. Upon going into battle, however, Jaeger changes completely. He becomes like a machine, unceasing, unflinching, and unrelenting in his mission. He becomes something else entirely, and it is in this "something else" that his separation becomes most evident. Jaeger becomes vicious, ferociously efficient, and brutal. In this mindset, it's clear that he's no longer truly a regular Digimon; that he is indeed a weapon, and it takes him some time to pull himself back from this state of hyper-awareness and hyper-lethality once his mission is complete. Recently, however, due to the time spent with and missions undertaken with the WarGreymon Surrak Dragonclaw, Jaeger's coldness has abated somewhat; he has begun to warm up to his compatriots and even joined them in their revelries.

History: Jaeger was born into the Unbowed Clans into one of the Garurumon packs. Life was relatively peaceful - at least, as peaceful as a life of hunting and dominance struggles could possibly be. But Jaeger's line was well prepared and at home in these types of struggles. It was only when the Metal Empire became involved that things complicated. They were searching for test subjects for their obedience program, and they hunted down individuals across the Eight Realms.

Jaeger was one such subject; orphaned and stolen from his home when he was only a teenager, he was subjected to years of harsh reconditioning and reprogramming until his every thought was geared towards serving the Empire. Even his digivolutions were influenced, and by the end of his evolution cycle, he was the mobile fortress MetalGarurumon. He served as one of their shock troops; enforcing the Empire's will throughout the Realms. And he was very good at his job. For Jaeger his loyalty wasn't based on ideals or grand notions that "All will be One." He didn't subscribe to any of that; his focus was only on the mission: only on achieving success and completing the task set before him. Loyalty and service to the Empire was so deeply engrained into his being that he had no choice but to obey and comply.

Jaeger fought and killed in service to the Empire until he became aware of a group of dissenters that existed outside the jurisdiction of the Realmpact. By Imperial law, this was both unacceptable and impossible, and Jaeger was tasked with either bringing them in or destroying them. He met these Realmless - these Ronin - and engaged them in combat. His squad proved capable, but Jaeger found himself stalemated by the group's WarGreymon. Befuddled by his inability to defeat an opponent, Jaeger found himself questioning everything he knew during the fight. If he and the Empire were supposed to emerge triumphant over every obstacle, how was this one opponent vexing him so?

Eventually, Jaeger and Surrak fought one another to exhaustion, and both succumbed to their injuries. When Jaeger awoke, he was a prisoner of the Realmless, but he wasn't treated harshly. During his time as a prisoner he spoke at length with Surrak and Goliath; the experience opened his eyes and awoke a part of him that had been asleep for far too long. Finally coming to an understanding, they agreed to release him; but once that was done, Jaeger found himself unwilling to return to an empire that had shown him nothing but cold detachment.

And so he joined the ranks of the Realmless.

Appearance: Goliath's appearance is pretty typical for his species, though his mane is more platinum blonde/gold rather than the typical silver-grey.

Personality: Goliath is forceful and strong-willed. He embodies the spirit of the Beast King. Goliath is a courageous, justice-oriented leader. He is of both strong will and strong body, and he has a quick-thinking mind, allowing him to come up with plans almost instantaneously. He trained for years so that he could become a strong leader, and it shows in both his body and his wisdom. Many say that the reason his chest is so wide is because his heart is so big. He cares deeply for the lives of others, and will put himself in harm's way every time for a friend in need. That said, those who do not deserve grace, he will not hesitate to punish. "Justice will be served," is his motto, and he sticks to it. His wisdom surpasses that of many other Digimon his age, but oftentimes his sense of justice will overrule it, and he will act without thinking. Still, he is always capable of coming up with a plan in the heat of battle, and will deploy it expertly every time. He is not always a serious individual, however. At times, he shows a sense of humor and might make a joke or two (though he will do it with a straight face, leaving everyone else wondering whether he was actually joking or not). Goliath also appears to have a drinking problem, for when he is depressed (though this is very seldom), he will resort to drinking. This, of course, never actually helps, because then he simply becomes drunk and makes an utter fool of himself.

History: Goliath's father was the legendary Alpha Brion Leonhardt, a massive Regulumon that served as the Prime Alpha for the whole of the Unbowed Clans. He sired dozens of offspring, but few would rise to such prominence as Goliath. Goliath grew up in a sort of royalty (if you could call it that). His father, a BanchoLeomon, raised him and his brothers (one younger and one older) to fight for what they believed in. His elder brother, Jazal, was always the biggest and strongest of the three Leormon, but this never deterred Goliath. The young Leormon sharpened his wit and cunning, and figured out a way to use Jazal's size and strength against him. From then on, Goliath won every single one of their fights (both verbal and physical), much to Jazal's displeasure. A wall grew between the two, even through their Champion years. Their feuds continued, with Goliath winning each one.

As the years went by, their evolutions diverged, and Goliath soon grew into a massive GrappLeomon, finally earning his name. One fateful day, Brion took a group out hunting in the wilderness to the north, and they ventured just slightly too far into the Empire's territory. They were attacked, and all but Brion were killed. When the hunters didn't return, Goliath and Jazal left to find them, and came upon their father, lying half-dead on the ground. With his last words, he crowned Jazal, the elder brother, as his heir. It was a strange event: as Alphas were determined by contests of strength rather than bloodlines. But Jazal was quick to solidify his reign by defeating the first half-dozen or so that dared to point this out. As the new Alpha, Jazal rid himself of Goliath by sending him as an ambassador to the Machine Empire. It was there that he became a BanchoLeomon...and learned of the terrible deeds the Empire was complicit in.

Goliath's sense of justice would not allow such a thing to happen, and he attempted to rouse the populace, spreading the word of the Empire's actions. But he was quickly silenced and apprehended by the D-Brigade and enforcers of the Realmpact, and taken to be executed. He escaped, defeating an entire contingent of D-Brigade troops, and fled the Empire. He returned to the Unbowed Clans to seek the help of his brother, but when he came to Jazal, however, the SaberLeomon refused to lend him aid, insisting that they uphold the law of the Realmpact and remain on good terms with the Empire. Disgusted at his mongrel of a brother, Goliath left the Clans.

He wandered the world for some time, eventually coming to a monastery at the edge of the world. There he met a master warrior Gankoomon named Ugin, who declared himself "Realmless" and beyond the reach of the Realmpact. Goliath studied under him for the next several years, eventually training alongside another student named Ajax Vol. But Goliath was growing increasingly uneasy with the injustice in the world outside their monastery. He urged Ugin and Ajax to accompany him but neither would relent, and Goliath left to fight alone.

He formed a rebellion against the Empire, calling others to his cause. But none of them were able to truly divorce themselves from their Realms and the binding powers of the Realmpact. When the time came to take up arms, only Goliath was able to fight. Almost all the rest were slaughtered, and Goliath only barely escaped with his life.

At their graves he swore a solemn oath: that he would not fail again. He would impart his knowledge of the Realmless to all those who joined him, and he would break the chains that bound them to the corruption of the world. He gathered his remaining rebels and declared to them all:

Justice would be served.

Yessss, I've been eagerly awaiting a Digimon rp for some time now. I'd like to put in a reservation for a Saviorhuckmon and Garbagemon respectively.

PeeGee

ROAWR!
Because I am fickle and want to only use Megas this time round, and also cause having trouble making the characters work, I am not going to be making a MetalTyrannomon and NeoDevimon SU. I will be making at least one more SU though.

Name
: Gabrielle Oheir
Species:SlashAngemon
Gender: Female
Age: 33
Appearance: Since she is female, Gabrielle has slight breasts, making her breast plate more rounded, and her hips are also more rounded.

Personality: Gabrielle is all about fighting. She lives for it, protecting the Eternal Legion is all that she wishes to do with her life. Quick and brutal, she doesn't believe in prolonging anything, whether it be a conversation or the life of someone who wishes to do harm to the legion. Gabrielle acts almost mechanical at times, trying her hardest to suppress any and all emotions other than those that allow her to be more efficient in battle.

While you would never guess from looking at her stoic outer self, Gabrielle has been fighting her emotions internally, the conflict a result of her upbringing. Initially raised to be a priestess, she was raised to be non violent, and spread the joy that the Eternal Legion would bring to all those who didn't believe. When she instead joined the army, she had to unlearn everything that she was taught, a task that she still hasn't completely managed to do. For a while she was able to keep this internal conflict under wraps, but lately she has been having more trouble with it.

History: Gabrielle has spent her whole life in the Eternal Legion, though not always as the merciless warrior that she is known as. Initally she was raised as a priestess, her goal in life to spread the word of the Eternal Legion to the non believers. However her evolution into Angewomon, instead of Taomon as was expected, put a wrench in those plans. Drafted into the military, she was moved into Sunhome, the barracks now her new home.

At first it was tough, she had to adapt to a lifestyle that she wasn't trained for, and she made more mistakes than she would like to admit. It was after one of those mistakes, which resulted in her having to clean the barracks, Gabrielle finally decided that she really needed to change herself. She knew that it would be difficult, but with the help of a fellow Asuramon, she was able to box away her emotions.

With her emotions no longer holding her back, Gabrielle improved ten fold, what she once had trouble doing was now nothing more than mere child's play to her. Upon digivolving into SlashAngemon, she became even more brutal, and she suppressed her emotions even more. However, one day Gabrielle couldn't suppress her emotions anymore. While she made sure not to show that anything had changed on her face, she started facing a moral dilemma about fighting without questioning why she was fighting.

One day, she heard some talk about how some digimon, who called themselves the 'Realmless' were slaughtered, leaving only a single digimon, who apparently was called Goliath, alive. She knew what she had to do, she had to go and help.

Higher Form/s: Ophanimon, Shakamon
Lower Form/s: Angewomon, Kyuubimon, Renamon (Angewomon can't actually digivolve into SlashAngemon, but I figured that it would be okay. Feel free to tell me if you want me to change it)
Other: Gabrielle digivolving into Shakamon won't be happening for a really long time.

EDIT: And here's my second character
Name: Gaius Oceanblue
Species: Jijimon
Gender: Male
Age: 65
Appearance: Looks like a normal Jijimon, except he has one long scar that runs from the top of his head diagonally down to the bottom of his head, though it generally can’t be seen.

Personality: Grumpy. The number one word that could be used to describe Gaius. He rarely ever seems to be in a good mood, and looks to always have a brooding look on his face, well he would if you could actually see his face. Though he may be grumpy Gaius is a very courageous digimon, and anyone who has fought with him would testify to this. He believes in 'No man left behind' and many a time has risked his life so that he save another digimon's life.

That being said, Gaius can't stand any type of insolence, and is highly opinionated. He will often right out ignore opinions that aren’t in line with his, and when the people he disagrees with try and talk back to him, well he tends to ramp it up into a pretty loud verbal sparring session. If someone expresses the same opinion as Gaius, well then he has no problems being all buddy buddy with that particular person, as long as they don’t find some way to annoy him.

History: Gaius has spent the better part of his life acting like a hero. Living in the Unbowed Clans was, well it was rough to say the least. He didn’t fit in well with the whole clan system; Gaius wanted more than to fight for dominance. He wanted to fight for a good reason, a reason worth living for. Once he was strong enough to go out on his own, Gaius was quick to leave the Clan he called home, his digivolution into Leomon signalling to him that what he was doing was right.

At first he merely wandered around the Realm, helping those in need, well at least those in need who actually him to help. Turned out that most of the digimon in the Unbound Clans didn’t want any of his help. Nevertheless Gaius tried his hardest to help those that he could. Once the Metal Empire literally rewrote the laws, Gaius tried to fight where he could but couldn’t. It was then that Gaius officially declared himself as Realmless and when he was able to advance into his Pandamon form.

While he worked solo for the longest time, Gaius eventually met a GrappLeomon named Tidus. The pair were quick to hit it off and became partners, proudly declaring themselves as the ‘Protectors of the Unbowed Clans!’. They worked together for a long time, using guerrilla style tactics to try and do something against the forces of the Metal Empire. Sometimes they had successes and sometimes they had losses.

Unfortunately one loss hit Gaius harder than any of them all. One ‘mission’ ended horribly, Gaius and Tidus were surrounded by Metal Empire troops, way more troops than either of them expected. Things weren’t looking good, they were outnumbered and surrounded and Tidus... well Tidus knew that there was only one thing that he could do. The GrappLeomon was able to draw the fire of the troops, allowing Gaius to escape but at the cost of his own life.

Losing his only friend pretty much destroyed Gaius’s spirit. He no longer wanted anything to do with being a hero or protector. Instead he cloistered himself away in a small cave in the middle of nowhere. Many years passed, and Gaius slowly began to sink even further into his broken state, aging into his current Jijimon form.

Not long after the Ronin were slaughter, word carried on the wind that one member of the Ronin had survived. Gaius didn’t know how, but it was enough to snap him out of his seemingly everlasting funk. He vowed to help the surviving Ronin, to his own life some form of meaning again.

Higher Form/s: Nothing
Lower Form/s: Pandamon, Leomon, Bearmon

The Reforged Soul
Okay, here is Sign-up #1 of my traveling duo!

Name: Titus ‘Finn’ Cloudraker
Species: Saviorhuckmon
Gender: 27
Appearance: Wears a blue cape, instead of a red.
Personality: A kind-hearted, compassionate, and steadfast soul. Titus wanders through Eon without a specific reason, helping digimon in need as he travels. He is generally easy-going and quite likeable, making it easy for him to get along with others.

An intuitive and skilled fighter, Titus was a squire to his horde chief, taught in the art of honorable combat, and learned from harsh life lessons while living as a wanderer. In battle, he’ll be the first to place himself in front of weaker digimon to protect them. While Titus tends to dive head first into combat, he is hardly reckless and hotheaded. Instead, he’ll quickly take in the situation calmly and step in to block/return attacks or attempt to talk down their opponents to see if a peaceful resolution is possible.

Not all of Titus’s peaceful resolutions or attempts to help digimon are successful. His self-confidence in his abilities takes a hard hit from his failures. Eventually, he will accept the reality and strive forward with greater determination.

Titus has made friends and acquaintances in his years of traveling, but only in passing. He is a lonely ‘mon. For that reason, he easily accepts the companionship of Sawyer, his Garbagemon friend.

History: Titus lived a quiet happy life with his Baohuckmon mother and Wingdramon father in a remote valley away from the other Dragon Hordes. As a young teenaged Huckmon, he returned home one day to find it in ruin with no sign of his parents anywhere. He searched for days calling out for his parents, before collapsing in exhaustion. He woke up in the strong arms of an old Imperialdramon Paladin Mode hordechief, named Rhaegos, later on and returned with Rhaegos to his horde dwellings.

The horde chief chose to raise Titus as his own son and Titus looked to Rhaegos as a second father. The Imperialdramon discovered Titus had natural ability in the art of combat and a kind heart, a rare combination of traits for those of draconic birth. Inspired, Rhaegos made the young Huckmon his squire and trained him in the ways of Eon’s Guardian Knights from a bygone era. Through harsh and tedious trials, Titus embraced his training with determination and purpose. However, jealousy brewed among his horde members at the special attention and teachings he received from the Imperialdramon. This combined with his training left Titus isolated and alone.

After Titus evolved into Baohuckmon, a powerful Examon was uniting all the hordes under one leadership. The ancient Rhaegos opposed the Khan and challenged him for the right of leadership at Skarrg, the Rage Pit. The battle was brutal and long. The powerful Examon dealt a striking hit to win the challenge and claimed the fealty of Titus's horde. The final blow inflicted upon the elderly Imperialdramon PM weakened his data core and already waning strength. Titus loyally remained at his adoptive father's side until the glow of his dissolving data vanished.

With the passing of his horde chief, Titus was alone once again. With no strong ties with any of his horde sisters or brothers, the Baohuckmon simply left, struck with a restlessness and wanderlust.

Titus traveled for a couple of years alone with seemly no direction or purpose, yet, often times he’s in the right place at the right time to aid fellow digimon from natural disasters or raiders. He questioned this ‘nature of coincidence’ early on, but with time he simply trusted his instincts to go where he was needed.

One evening, he stopped to rest at a medium-sized village to witness several digimon throwing produce at a dithering Sukamon in the town market. The next morning word spread around of a string of robberies which occurred during the night and the same Sukamon is blamed. Titus helped sort through the mishap and cleared the Sukamon’s name. The Baohuckmon feels compelled to remain in town for the time being. Days later, raiders came through and set the town on fire. Titus joined the townsfolk in repelling the invaders and getting young and old digimon to safety. Titus realized that Sukamon is missing and returned to the burning town. He found the missing Sukamon pinned under a collapsed wall, pulled the Sukamon free, and both joined the townsfolk, relatively unharmed, in a safe clearing.

Afterwards as Titus prepared to leave, Sukamon comes up to him and introduced himself as ‘Sawyer’ and asked to join ‘Finn’ on his journey. Perplexed, Titus asks Sawyer why he calls him ‘Finn’. Sawyer simply shrugs and says, “Because you’re a Finn.” Titus heartily chuckled and accepted Sawyer’s request. Titus appreciated Sawyer’s friendship as he was the only ‘mon to ever stay with him.

The duo, Finn and Sawyer, journeyed together across the Eight Realms for years afterwards full of misadventures and good times. In that time, Titus evolved to Savior Huckmon and his friend became Garbagemon. But those good times were coming to an end, sightings of desolated villages and crying uprooted digimon became more frequent as the Metal Empire soldiers sought to "uphold the Realmpact and keep the peace" and the common digimon paying the price with no choice. A note of deep sorrow rose within Titus at the wrongness he saw and his slumbering dragon fury flared for the first time. Since his adoptive father's death, Titus found a purpose and knew his time wandering was at an end. Both Finn and Sawyer started hearing rumors of digimon with the ability to stand up to the Metal Empire and sought to find them.

One day, Titus stopped suddenly in his tracks, Sawyer nearly plowing into his friend’s bladed legs. The Savior Huckmon stared off into the west of the fading sun and changed his path to a distant hill. Sawyer merely followed, used to Titus’s subconscious habits. At the crest of the hill, they looked down and found the Ronin Camp of Goliath Leonhardt.

Higher Form/s: Jesmon, Slide Evolution: Cannondramon
Lower Form/s: Baohuckmon--> Huckmon
Other: Titus has yet to achieve his primary mega form, Jesmon. Given the extreme level of skill and experience needed to gain the Jesmon form, Titus opted to train for an alternative form as Cannondramon to balance out his skill set. Currently, he’s only used it once or twice. Ironically, Titus had an easier time achieving a mega form with long-range capabilities, while his specializes in close-combat.

Edited: Addressed the issues to Titus's sign-up!

God of Monsters
Couple of Issues:

1. None are born Realmless. Until Ugin/Goliath no one even knew there was such a thing. There are a couple of points throughout your signup that would need to be changed to reflect this.

2. Tidus's involvement with the Gankoomon is a bit too reminiscent of Ajax/Babel's own backstory. I'd like a bit more variety.

3. No fan-mon.

Solsabre

The Reforged Soul
1. I wasn't sure if the being born realmless was possible or not, will make the changes accordingly. Is it possible to have parents from two different realms then?

2. I guess I should apologize, I didn't see the bit about Goliath's mentor being a Gankoomon until after I posted my first sign-up. >_< I don't want to come across as copying anyone, I was just going with the Gankoomon/huckmon mentor relationship in canon. I noticed that right before I saw your last post about my sign up. I have a different idea in mind to replace the Gankoomon mentor.

3. I totally understand the no fan-made rule. Jesmon, in my mind, is overpowering. No way Titus is going to master all the abilities right away, but I guess that would be the point of mastering the form as the story progresses. The summoning of his three muskteer spirits was what I had in mind for the activation of the Trinity mode, but I'll dump that idea/mode.

ROAWR!
And here is my final character, the parents of whom should be somewhat familiar to those who were in the original.

Name
: Namine Foxheart
Species: MarineAngemon
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Appearance: Looks just like a normal MarineAngemon
Personality: Namine likes to hide who she truly is, only letting those she truly trusts through her illusion. She likes to act innocent, like she truly is a very young and naive digimon. Truthfully, Namine uses this as a way to lure in innocent digimon, her next actions depending on if she's in battle or not. If she's in battle, Namine will lure in the digimon and use the opportunity to blindside them. Outside of battle, Namine uses the opportunity to play practical jokes or tricks on digimon.

At heart, she is a playful and kind digimon, even though she doesn't always show it like ever, at all. She can be a bit of a hot head, making rash decisions and things like that. Namine doesn't often take into consideration other people's feelings when she acts, a side effect of essentially growing up in complete isolation.

History: Namine's tale doesn't start with her birth. Instead it starts with two digimon, a Sakuyamon and a Vikemon who met under just the right circumstances. The Vikemon was a nomad who lived in the Boreal bloc, the Sakuyamon was a disillusioned priestess who was spreading the word of the Eternal Legion to the Blue Coalition. One thing lead to another and the Vikemon helped the Sakuyamon to escape from the firm authoritarian grasp of the Eternal Legion and the pair decided to live a Nomadic lifestyle. Well less decided and more that Namine's mother was terrified that the Eternal Legion would come back and get her otherwise.

Many years later, the DigiElecStorkmon dropped off an egg that hatched into Namine. Her life was incredibly isolated, the fact that her family was constantly moving meant that it was hard to form any real connections with anyone, made even harder by her parents not allowing anyone to remain camped near them for anything longer than a fortnight. As she evolved into her higher forms, Namine tried and tried her hardest to get away from her parents, to try and live her own life not tied down to them.

When she eventually digivolved into MarineAngemon, Namine was able to make a deal with her parents, she was allowed to explore the Blue Coalition's lands, as long as she reported back every month. Taking the deal, Namine set off on what she thought was going to be a fun adventure. Instead, what she saw was what destruction that the Metal Empire had wrought upon the Blue Coalition. After seeing countless digimon who had lost everything and everyone, Namine grew to truly hate the Metal Empire and everything that they did.

During her travels, Namine temporarily travelled with a group of Frigimon who told her about someone named Goliath, who was apparently the only survivor from an attack on the Metal Empire. The moment she heard it, Namine knew that she needed to help him, she needed to do anything to stop them after seeing the pain and suffering that they had caused for the Blue Coalition.

Higher Form/s: Dianamon (Slide)
Lower Form/s: Crescemon, Lekismon, Lunamon

「深弾幕結界 -夢幻泡影-」
Name: Alterne Eoraia (Pronounced Alter-nal Eonian)
Species: Grademon
Gender: F
Age: 21

Appearance: Alterne has a curvy figure due to her gender. It's not exactly an hourglass figure but pretty noticeable. Instead of white, Alterne's sword is stained purple. Her cape is worn and has tears at the end. in Dorugoramon form, the right horn on her head is slightly larger than the other.

Personality: Alterne is distant, not cold, but not warm either. She's a weak, fragile thing holding herself together with only the 'what if's and possibilities of life. Living in the Unhallowed Syndicate for most of a person's life changes them. She is extremely resistant to despair, sadness, cruelty and most of all, hate. She has lost most of her ability to empathize, but ironically manages to hold onto the one thing that influences others the most. A smile. Alterne's most noteworthy trait is to be able to smile. One that melts your worries away, one that takes away the fear in your heart. It's a genuine feeling that rushes throughout all who sees her. It's rare for her to smile, and rarer for her to show happiness. Most of the time, Alterne seems to be a melancholic loner. She has confidence in not her spirit but her capability. Alterne believes that as long as you trust your actions with all your heart, things will go your way. She is both kindhearted yet ruthless. Two sides of the same coin.

Unable to show her thoughts or feelings really hampers that belief of hers, however. She does not seek others and neither do others seek her. She is alone, hoping and alone. If someone wants to be by her side, she will neither allow or deny them. They do what they want. They associate themselves with her if they want. If they do, Alterne will grow to let them leave a mark on her life. For better or worse, a friendship will be forged. It's hard to see, but the small things she does show how much affection she has for you. Defend those that are kind to her. Yet not attack those that have treated her ill. She's easily influenced, easily swayed, but her conviction to her hopes and dreams will never be crushed. She may be unable to show it, but her maiden's heart still beats with all the emotion of a child. In her mind's eye, the world is still a beautiful place.

History: Alterne is a Grademon that is unable to digivolve into Alphamon. Alterne was born in the realm of the Dragon Hordes, but certain circumstances made her live most of her life in the Unhallowed Syndicate. When she hatched from her Digi-egg, she was already in it. With no parents and nobody to look after her, Alterne began her own quest to forge a path. Surviving in an area so full of darkness was a challenge. Unprecedented. Scavenging for what she could to survive, Alterne was taken in my a group of thieves, and trained to become one of them. It was extremely unusual (moreso dangerous!) to have a Digimon not of the undead or demon type in their midst, but it turned out quite well. When Alterne eventually became a Raptordramon, the group knew that their situation would only get worse. The group was a small faction of the large criminal organization that lead the Unhallowed Syndicate. Eventually the higher-ups would find out about Alterne. As a precaution, Alterne was never allowed to interact with anyone outside the group. It was strange that she was even taken as one of their own in the first place. All they did was bring danger into their home.

This worked for some time. Long enough for Alterne's body to grow. A gold sheen enveloped her body and she became a Grademon. At this point, it was a problem too big to handle. The Blood Cult somehow found out about this. A Digimon not a part of them. One that does not belong. A warrior that shines pure gold would not, could not be part of the Unhallowed Syndicate. Alterne now had this adoptive family. Thieves. But unlike them, she was not raised as one. She was raised to be a normal digimon. One without the guilt or fanatical following like everyone else in that forsaken land. There was admittedly, quite a bit of combat training. Not a lot that she would become the peerless, undefeated king that most others would strive to be. Just enough that she could fend for herself, enough to stand her own ground with the toughest of foes she would encounter in this dark place. The environment however, created an adverse effect on her growth. She was normal in all ways except empathy. She could not speak her mind or open her heart. Most of the time, she sat silently in the corner, motionless and dreamless. This same change also eventually affected her growth. Only with the most treasured of her family did she converse with. She would never be able to become Alphamon, the true end of her digivolution path. Instead, it opened up another, much more dreadful secret. It is unknown why or how, but the Blood Cult did not attempt to assimilate Alterne into their system. Even though it was perfectly possible (Evil Grademon). Maybe it was because it would be too hard to, or too risky if Alterne were to achieve Alphamon status. Instead, they began a witch hunt. Outright slaughtering all those suspected to be related to her. One by one, members of Alterne's new family began to disappear. The leader, SkullSatamon, understood this immediately. He took the most painless route he could find. He stole away Alterne once more, and threw her into the wilds. It was the only way to save her. She couldn't take in everything that was happening.

It was too much. But she could not be broken. Inside, she was strong. Stronger than anyone before her. Until the one that saved her vanished without a trace too. Now she roams the land, weary and restless. She knows the depths of evil and the goodness in the hearts of even the most unlikely people.

It may be of chance or by fate, but she stumbled across the camp of Goliath. With zero knowledge of the world outside the darkness of the Unhallowed Syndicate.

Higher Form/s: Slayerdragmon -> Gaioumon -> Dorugoramon [BURST MODE]

Lower Form/s: Raptordramon -> Dorumon

Digivolution Data: In Dorugoramon form, Alterne can fly. This form acts as a Burst Mode, this however, does not increase her stats due to being digivolved from an already Mega-Level Digimon. All of Alterne's swordsmanship is turned into feral, berserker-like capabilities. Hand-to-Claw combat. As the embodiment of the "Dragon", this form actually gives Alterne a full type-change from Virus to Data. As the Avatar of "Destruction", instead of releasing god-like power, Alterne instead has her heart unsealed. She can express herself fully, and her heart is open for all. Perhaps one day the "Final Enemy" she will have to face will be herself, to finally embrace this emotional enlightenment.

Other: To Digivolve to Dorugoramon, Alterne has to release her hold on her swords.

@ AzerWrath: I'm not allowing the Death-X breed as Digivolution forms...I should probably make a "not-allowed" list...Other than that it's fine. Though it's worth mentioning that the Syndicate isn't some sort of horror-land. It's just a regular place in the Digital World...just a bit more...sinister and underhanded.

Ha, ha, ha. Yeah you should have made the not-allowed list. I was thinking that because DexDorugoramon technically still had a Digicore it would be allowed. It's ok then, I've already gotten a replacement. And yeah I think I misinterpreted what the Syndicate was supposed to be. I blame my lack of sleep.

Here's one. There's another one or two on the way.

Name: Jasper Diamondmantle (the Imperious)
Species: Blastmon
Gender: Male
Age: 34

Appearance: A regular Blastmon with an extremely lustrous body. He’s also a bit bigger than the average Blastmon, and has a scar in the crevice on the left side of his neck. http://wikimon.net/images/7/74/Blastmon_collectors_card.jpg

Personality: To say that Jasper has an ego is like saying that magma is ‘a bit warm’. He is incredibly narcissistic and arrogant, and while some of it may be warranted, it’s not nearly to the degree that he claims. When he fights – or does anything, really – it’s in the flashiest way possible. He wants to make the biggest impact that he can on any situation, both figuratively and literally. He isn’t what you would call ‘book smart’ (especially considering that he thinks that his appropriated suffix “-the Imperious” is a positive moniker), however, he does have a sharp mind when it comes to practical things like problem solving. His moniker is also entirely accurate. Jasper is overbearing, domineering, and he thinks that he knows best. Hand-in-hand with this is his passion, intensity, and flare that he puts into everything that he does. Jasper is typically aloof towards strangers, but if anybody can manage to break through his crystalline exterior, he can actually be quite warm and affectionate. However, that’s assuming that the Digimon in question isn’t driven off by Jasper’s personality and eccentricities by that point.

Jasper has other loves apart from himself... the main one of these being crystals. He doesn’t love them for their monetary value, but for their beauty (and taste). The brightest corundum, the hardest diamond, the most verdant malachite – to him, they were like caviar and truffles from the highest-rated fine dining restaurant. Apart from their taste and rareness, they also serve to improve the complexion and hardness of his body. He’ll always go out of his way to get some if he sees the opportunity, even if it means distracting himself from his goals or breaking the law.

History: Jasper hails from the Unbowed Clans. He grew up in a dinosaur-dominated clan in the harsh deserts. It was through strife with rival clans and inter-tribe rivalries that he became battle-hardened. However, Jasper was always a bit of a subversive. When he felt he was strong enough, he challenged the Spinomon leader to single combat, fully intending to take command of the entire clan. By this point, he was a Blastmon, but even his hard crystals were no match for the Spinomon’s superior strength. He was wounded heavily and left for dead. Although, after days, the crystals replenished and the wounds closed, he was left with a lasting scar in the chasm of his neck. He’s deeply insecure about it, as it’s the one blemish he has on his otherwise immaculate body and no amount of crystal can make it go away. Unwilling to beg for forgiveness from the clan leader, Jasper set out with a couple of his loyal supporters. He left the deserts and the civil strife behind, instead adventuring across Eon.

The months passed and he travelled from location to location. He had zero time for the Metal Empire. One day, he walked into their territory with his supporters and began to commandeer a multitude of mines along a mountain range. He closed off their supply lines and forced the miners to mine crystals for him alone. Naturally, this attracted the attention of the Metal Empire, who sent in forces to deal with the subversive threat. After a heavy battle that devastated the mountainscape, most of Jasper’s supporters were defeated and he and the survivors fled through the mountains. Having underestimated the Metal Empire’s amount of territory, Jasper found himself constantly on the run and having to fend off task forces that were hunting him down. After a few months, Goliath and his Realmless stumbled across him. After a brief standoff, Jasper found out who exactly they were and what they stood for. Deciding that he needed some new followers and that there was safety in numbers, Jasper decided to join them. After all, he needed to teach the Metal Empire a lesson. However, their initial rebellion was a failure. During a decisive battle, Goliath's rebel forces were crushed. Jasper, although he was able to hold his own for a long time, was ultimately overwhelmed and forced to retreat. He grew frustrated with his string of losses. Bonded with the remaining rebels through their loss, Jasper swore vengeance on the Metal Empire. He wanted to take them down, Realmpact be damned.
