Digimon: Rise of the Demon Lords

Earth, to a human it's a boring world where people live their lives day to day. But to creatures from another world called Digimon, they want our world. Nowhere is this more apparent than the Seven Demon Lords: Beelzemon, Daemon, Lucemon, Belphemon, Lilithmon, Barbamon, and Leviamon. The only thing that makes them more dangerous is that they are Mega-level (except for one) and they have an army on their side. They have tried once before, but were stopped by an unknown program called Ygdrassil. This program froze the programming of the Demon Lords and sealed them away, and created a barrier between the Real World and the Digital World the Demon Lords cannot pass through. But a young hacker accidently broke the seal and unleashed the Lords upon an unsuspecting Digital World. Their plans: send small digimon into the human world to destroy the barrier between worlds. Ygdrassil also created digivices and scattered them across the world. The humans who find these digivices get partner digimon based on the their personality. The new Digi-Destined must now stop the Seven Demon Lords from reaching the Real World and taking it over.

You are now one of the new Digi-Destined. You go about your daily life and stumble onto your digivice. Your Digimon appears and you're either afraid or excited about it. Then you slowly start to meet others with Digimon partners, then the Demon Lords send Digimon after Digimon to try and open the barrier and allow themselves into the Real World. Usually the Digimon they send will be at the Rookie/Champion level at first, then as the story progresses, they get stronger and stronger, as your Digimon gets stronger and stronger. Get ready, the fight for the Real World begins now!

There are some ground rules to this adventure. First of all, I will require an RPG sample from all willing participants. Second, NO LSUs! I'll start out with 6-7 and gradually allow more people in depending on if I need more people. Third, don't pick "evil" digimon for your partner. No Impmon, Demidevimon, Lucemon (Rookie) or other Digimon thought of as evil. This does not mean you can't pick a Virus Digimon, it just means you can't pick ones that digivolve into the Demon Lords. This is what your sign-up sheet should look like. Do NOT put your preferred Digivice color, I will assign that to you if you're accepted.

Human:

Nameatrick "Pat" Smith

Physical description: Pat is about the average height for a kid his age. He's also not too muscular, but at the same time not too flabby either. His hair is dark brown and kept rather short. He wears a red shirt with brown slacks that drop almost down to the floor. He also wears

simple, black athletic shoes and he has a pendent around his neck, hidden under his shirt. He also wears a brown vest, his digivice is always kept in the front pocket.

Personality: Pat is rather upbeat and always eager to make new friends. He's also pretty scrappy if he's ever in a fight. He also never backs down, which can be a good thing, and a bad thing. On the negative side he is stubborn and reckless. It's obvious something happened to him as a child, but doesn't say. All people know is it makes him a little hostile toward some Digimon.

Bio: Pat is a foreign exchange student from the USA. He's never been to Japan before, but he figures he can get by with what he knows. Not much is known about him before he transfered into his school. There was an incident in his past involving a rouge Digimon, but he doesn't talk about it. One day, Pat noticed a strange device in the shade of a tree. Curious, he picked it up to find it's owner, but it began to glow in his hand. Just then, a Dorumon appeared before him.

"Ungh, where am I?" The creature shrugged.

"Ummmmm, Japan, Earth, Milky Way Galaxy, any of that help?" Pat replied.

"Yeah, can't believe I'm on Earth, the Real World. I made it after all."

"Real World? So you're a Digimon?"

"Yeah. But how would a human know about Digimon?"

"My parents...never mind, I'll tell you later. It's a long story."

"My name's Dorumon."

"Mine's Pat."

"Patmon? Oh, you're Patamon, but you don't look like a Patamon to me. Patamon have ears that are really wings, and alot smaller."

"I'm no Digimon, I'm a human. My name's just Pat, Patrick if you want to get fancy. C'mon, I'm betting you're hungry, follow me, just walk on all fours and say the word 'bark' when anyone comes close."

"Why?"

"People will think you're a dog, which is an animal on our world people use for pets."

"Bark?"

"Yeah, bark."

Personality: Abel is laid back and lazy. He just likes to go with the flow, and would rather sleep than start a fight. He does well under pressure and thinks on his feet. He is tactical, and is good at whatever he chooses to do. He will mostly just lie around.

The teenage boy turned off the alarm, and got out of bed. He walked into his bathroom, and brushed his teeth. Then he put on his usual black t-shirt and pulled on a pair of jeans.

Abel went down the stairs grabbed some toast, and left for school. His school was only about three blocks to the left, but Abel went right towards the park. He found a tree he liked climbed onto a low branch, and went to sleep.

Abel was startled awake, and fell off his branch. He saw smoke coming from a short distance away.
Did a bomb just explode or something? I guess I should check it out.
Abel walked over to the crater and noticed something shiny at the bottom. He reached down and grabbed the strange device. The object began to glow in his hand.

Abel turned around and saw a strange blue dinosaur thing.

Physical Description: Nyck stands at about 1.87, very tall for his age, and well build. Nyck works out very much in order to keep his body fit. Nyck has short black hair with some red in front. Nyck`s eyes are big watery eyes. Nyck weares a pair of blue jean with some japanese handwriting on them and a red with black t-shirt. Most of the time he likes to wear a pair of black sunglasses and a pair of blue sneakers. Nyck has a black fiery thing tattoed on his right arm.

Personality: Nyck is a very happy person, very optimistic and caring. Nyck hates to be second and will do anything to be number 1 all the time. His a very devoted friend and would do almost anything for his friends and family. Nyck hates to brag and those that brag, he can`t stand them. For his age, Nyck is a little childish, he likes to watch animated cartoon and other things like that. Nyck is the clown of his group, loving to make others laugh.

Bio: Nyck woke up in the morning to see that the sun had been up for some time now. He went to his drawer and took his clothes, got dressed and went down to eat something. To his surprise nobody was home, he went into the chitcen to see if his mother was there but still nothing. He saw a plate of meat on the table so he took a seat and started eating. After finishing his meal, Nyck went to the window to see what was happening outside, but what he saw, he couldn`t imaginate... it was dinosaur kind of creature, but it was bloody red. Nyck hoped out the window and now has facing the creature:
"Who are you?" asked Nyck a little affraid.
"My name is Guilmon, and i`m a digimon" said the creature happily.
"Digimon?Guilmo?... wow, freaky name`s" said Nyck laughing, this made Guilmon angry.
"Oh yea? than whats your name?"
"Nyck"
"And thats not a freaky name?" asked Guilmon, this time he was laughing.
"Hey... anyways, why are you here?" asked Nyck becoming serious.
"I`m here to be your digimon, whe are gonna be friends" said Guilmo happily
"Friends... ok... my mother wouldn`t let me with a little dog in the house, and i really don`t know i will explaing to here how i got a dinosaur"

"Yea, yea, right... are you hungry?
"Yup, always"
"Then come on in, maybe whe can find something for you" and the 2 new friends entered the house in search for something to eat.

Name: Leo Aeris
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Physical Description: Standing at about 5 feet and 7 inches, he is somewhat thin for his height. Leo’s jet-black, shaggy hair is only ‘long’ at his bangs, which usually cover his seemingly empty, almond-shaped, dark-brown eyes. Under his square-shaped chin is a camouflage-coloured headband. Unlike his headband though (which has been kept in a very good condition), Leo wears a white button-up shirt over his navy-blue t-shirt. His baggy jeans are frayed heavily at the bottom; it is held up by a square-buckle, brown belt. As with his headband, Leo’s blue and black motorcycle gloves (imitation ones in truth), both have an imprint of a dragon on the back hand part.
Personality: Generally, people see him as a loner: barely any friends, and only speaks when needed. The thing is, Leo is very friendly and talkative to the few friends he has. He remains loyal to those who are trustworthy, but ignores those who lie and gossip a lot. Although Leo may not be funny, his bad jokes still make people (who he will talk to) laugh. At first, Leo may seem very pessimistic, but he rarely gives up on something he wants.
Bio: After living most of his life in the Philippines, Leo and his family moved to Japan for two years because of his father’s temporary assignment there (which Leo barely knows of). Upon arriving, he knew little to no information on Japan, but his classmates there helped him out (they were, technically forced to by the teacher). Since then, Leo has become a hard-working student with slightly above-average grades (but still messes up horribly every-once in awhile). One day, after a huge exam, Leo came by a small, broken cell phone by his house’s doorstep. Leo brought it up to his room secretly, and examined it further. He was reluctant at first to tell someone of this, but eventually went off to tell his parents. However, as he was about to leave his room, a large glow burst from the cell phone, and a small creature formed. It was a long-eared creature. It introduced itself as Terriermon, and, after a long hour of fear and talking, Terriermon and Leo befriended each other.

Name: Kinzoku Ryu
Age: 18
Gender: Male

Physical Description: Ryu is over 6 feet tall, and very skinny. He has uncombed brown hair going slightly past his ears. He wears a baggy black shirt and blue jeans. His eyes are blue, but he also wears glasses, so this can be hard to notice.

Personality: Though Ryu has very high grades, he still is lacking in some areas. He has few social skills and little sense of direction. Even so, he has many skills from his focus on school. He can seem emotionless at times, unless it involves personal or other important matters.

Bio: Born and raised in Japan, Kinzoku, or Ryu, as he prefers to be called by, knows his hometown well. Ryu has few friends and is usually focused on his studies, because his father is also the head of a relatively large business, and Ryu’s father wants him to take over eventually. One day, while Ryu was taking a walk, when he heard a crash in an alleyway. Ryu ignored it at first, but then went to investigate.

He found a cell phone like object. Unsure of what it was, he tried to find out what its use was. After trying to force it open along a groove, the screen flashed with a blindingly white light. When Ryu’s eyes readjusted to light and the spots were out of his eyes, the cog-like Digimon Hagurumon was floating in front of him. Ryu, freaked out a little and retreated to the other side of the alleyway. The two introduced themselves and Ryu, out of curiosity, began asking Hagurumon questions. Hagurumon, of course was a Digimon from the Digital World, of course, which Ryu had heard nothing about, and enjoys ramen. Ryu was asked questions by Hagurumon as well. Eventually, it got darker and Ryu decided to get Hagurumon into his home, somehow. After some distractions and a scolding for being late, Hagurumon was successfully inside Ryu’s room. Ryu secured some ramen for Hagurumon and some food for him self and they ate and talked a little more. Eventually, it became late and Ryu hid Hagurumon in the empty bottom shelf of his dresser, which was first coated with blankets he didn't use. As Hagurumon slept, Ryu began searching the internet for any information on the Digital World.

Physical Description: Jason is around 150 centimetres tall, and has a mullet made up of mousey-blonde hair. He has blue glasses, which are slightly cracked on the left lens (His left). He wears a pair of jeans which can have part zipped off to make a pair of shorts, and has four pockets. His long sleeved shirt is orange, and it has a thunderbolt on it at the chest. Jason wears plain white sneakers and always carries a pad in his ever-present backpack, which also contains a bottle of water, a couple of sandwiches, a 200-page diary, a set of colored pencils and a sharpener. He has a birthmark on the palm of his hand that is shaped like a skull, which he is embarrassed about (Reason why is unknown) so he wears a pair of white gloves to cover it.

Personality: Jason is an intelligent kid who's brain rivals 15 year old kids. He focuses mainly on english and art, and tries to record everything he sees. He doesn't have any friends, excepting his pet , a mouse called Jackie that he carries everywhere. Jason is a reliable person, who never breaks a promise, and rarely backs down. He's very friendly, but loses his temper whenever someone calls him "Geek". To this he replies "I, am not, a geek. I, am just, intelligent." (This is a response he learned from his frequent trips to the school counsellor). However, this isn't always the case. A lot of the time, he starts up a fight, usually putting him in deep trouble. He enjoys reading and playing on computers.
I based most of this character on myself. All except clothes and name.

Biography: Jason is an Australian kid who moved to Japan for a holiday. He was sitting at home on the computer, when he saw something on his windowsill out of the corner of his eye. He opened the window and picked the object up. He studied it for a moment, and put it on the desk. He continued his work on the computer, and noticed the device beginning to glow. The light became brighter and brighter, until a small creature he had never seen the likes of before appeared. "Hi," The creature said. "My name's Patamon. What's yours?" Jason stared at the creature, not knowing what to do. He thought about it for a while, then came to a conclusion. "My name's Jason" He said. "Hi Jason," Patamon said. "We're going to be buddies from now on!!" "Would you mind telling me what's going on? What are you? How did you get here?Are you even real?" Jason was confused. Patamon replied "Sheesh, you're dense. I'm a Digimon.". Jason thought for a while, and then came to a second conclusion. "Well then, Patamon. What do you want to do?"

Name: Rin Miere
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Physical Description: Rin has had her hair dyed Dark Scarlet lately and her Bistre (a dirty mud brown) coloured eyes only add to her odd appearance. Rin wears her slightly wavy hair down, since she isn't too fond of tying it up unless she's told to by her parents or someone she holds in high respect. Rin wears a pale yellow T-shirt (which makes her hair stand out) and a pair of denim black 3/4 pants. Rin has a fondness of wearing roman sandals (which are from now on referred to as romans) and does so, unless she is told to wear otherwise. Rin would wear her romans in the rain if she wanted and was allowed to, despite the fact that everyone says they'll break but they haven't yet.

Personality: Due to her hair colour Rin stands out alot at school. But she didn't, and still doesn't like the attention she got from her dyed hair. Rin can be extremely passive and finds it hard to speak her mind, even to people she knows well (which her family is the extent since she wasn't exactly great at making friends). Despite being quite and shy, Rin is extremely curious and determined to find something out. And she has gotten very good at finding out stuff, so Rin knows a few things about her fellow students but will never tell anyone unless she is extremely annoyed with the person in question to the max. Rin is confident with a hammer and some nails since she builds model constructions for herself. She doesn't even know what the constructions are; they just look like random bits of wood nailed together. And Rin is intimidated by all Digimon by the way but tries to hide it.

Bio: Rin has a bit of a mixed heritage, her mother's side is completely Japanese as far as she knows, but her father is a mixture of Japanese, New Zealander and French. So Rin feels a bit unnerved at that fact and isn't willing to tell anyone about it. But Rin did spend all her life in Japan and can speak English almost fluently and a little bit of French. Rin loved to spend time with her non-Japanese grandmother and often had to speak for her. Rin's grandmother is the only family member who hasn't asked Rin to do anything, but slightly encouraged Rin to dye her hair by leaving a picture in Rin's room of a pretty woman with Dark Scarlet hair. Rin's grandmother has actually encouraged Rin to do alot of things indirectly, but Rin still knows it's her, no matter how much her Grandmother denies it. Rin's parents also notice her grandmother encouraging their only child to try things out and usually disapprove of it but once again, Rin's grandmother denies it and says it was always Rin's choice.

RPG Sample:

Rin rubbed her eyes as she woke up slowly. It had been four days since she had dyed her hair and she was trying her best to not regret it, which was kinda hard when everyone was looking at her. Not what she wanted.
Well at least I'm not afraid to try something new, Rin thought optimistically as she sat up in bed.
"So you're awake?" a voice asked.
"Are you okay, Grandma?" Rin asked her grandmother without looking. "Your voice sounds a bit higher than usual."
"Oh don't worry about that dearie," a Salamon said. A Salamon which Rin hadn't noticed yet.
Rin made a mumbling sound and stood up slowly and looked in the mirror at her hair. It needed a brush, it looked a bit tangly. In fact, more than a bit. Rin looked on her desk for her hairbrush but it wasn't where she left it.
"Do you know where my hairbrush is, Grandma?" Rin asked as she crouched on the floor to look under her desk.
"Here you go sweetie," Salamon said, holding Rin's hairbrush in her mouth and poking Rin with it on the side. Rin looked around slowly and what she saw really came to a shock. She felt terrified for a moment, but something told her she shouldn't.
That something didn't do much since Rin, at that moment, fell backwards and was out cold.

Physical Description: Shun is a young man who wouldn't quite stand out too well when placed into a crowd. As a typical member of his family, Shun possesses black hair that has been cut to a considerably short length, a very rich color of brown for eyes, and a height that is just around 5'6''. Myopia causes this boy to wear a pair of rather thick glasses for correction. A pair of jeans and a plain white shirt seem to be something he wears quite often, and upon his left wrist, a watch sits.

Personality: Shun is one who seems to enjoy lazing about and taking time in contrast to some. That being said, Shun has a slightly above average intellegence, but often it can be seen that he lacks inititive to get some things done. However, at the same time that he lazes around doing his own obligations, this sloth can't seem to help himself from assisting certain people. Normally the type to sit alone in the corner, Shun seems to be sparked to interaction when he notices that someone else requires the little assistance he can provide. Typically, Shun also doesn't seem to mind lending items to others, but appears to let out his family's competitive side when he is challenged.

Bio: Shun is a young man of South Chinese descent. Both his parents roots seem to come from a small village located a couple hours away from Hong Kong. However, while that may be the case, Shun was born and raised in the United States. His life seemed to be quite a bore, for there seemed to be times when he was able to map out entire days by memory of former days. However, during the summer of his 15th birthday, Shun's parents decided to send him off with a relative to their hometown in a small village in China. It was here that he encountered a perculiar device in a local shop. Feeling a strange pull to it, Shun purchased the device, and seems to carry it about with him, even though it seems to do nothing.

Goblimon wears a brown vest and a pair of ripped brown pants, in an attempt to prove its toughness. It also carries about a large wooden club that is fitted with metallic nails.
Personality Unlike Shun, this Digimon is quite outgoing. Although he isn't nearly as savage as the other Digimon of his species, Goblimon still takes much pride in the Mohawk that he has worked hard on, and won't forgive anyone who messes with it. On a somewhat similar note, although Shun wishes to assist those in need, Goblimon seems to only care to help when he is benefited. Regardless, Goblimon seems to respect his lazy tamer, and will usually do as he is told.
Attacks:
--Gobli Bomb: A typical physical attack. Goblimon focuses his strength into his club, and attempts to whack it with mighty force.

--Gobli Strike: Mustering the slight shamanic powers of his family, Goblimon creates a red hot fireball that he throws at his target.

Physical Description: A Mineral Digimon said to be follow his master's orders to the dot. Golemon is a Digimon made of enchanted stones that have been fused together. Barbed wires make up various 'accessories' on this Digimon, including knuckle and wrist guards, arm bands, and even foot coverings. His face is guarded by a metalic mask, and is held on by a leather belt. Spike like objects are evident on his back, and what appear to be craters can be found running down his spine.
Attacks:
-- Curse Crimson: A poisonous attack that is performed much like a volcano. From the craters in his back, Golemon releases a puff of poisonous Sulfur Fumes to suffacate and immoblize his targets.

--- Rock Punch: Using his gigantic fist, Golemon slams his knuckle straight into his foe.

Somewhere, in a small southern Chinese village, a young man walked. Tired and dazed from the current power outage and the sudden heat, he felt as if he required a break. Trudging on, he walked past closed store after closed store, each time feeling the heat press upon him harder and harder. Buckets of sweat seemed to fall from all over his body, and he was just about ready to collapse when he heard the sound of a child laughing. His head slowly rose, and right in front of him was actually a game shop! Smiling at the place, the teen dragged himself in. His eyes darted about, carefully examining each game until he noticed a perculiar 'toy' upon the shelf behind the counter.

"Excuse me.... sir?" He questioned the man behind the desk.

An answer didn't seem to sprout from the large mass of a man sitting behind the counter. Raising his voice again, the boy found it was pointless. After he gave up his attempts at calling, he could hear the sound of snores coming from the man. In his mind, Shun seemed to drop that familiar sweat drop of displeasure. It wasn't long though, until a sweet voice seemed to fall from the stairs.

"If you're here for that thing..... go ahead and take it. My husband is a heavy sleeper, and with the power out, you'd have to wait forever to get that. Don't worry, just take it with you and pay later. Our dog found it on the street, so it'll be fine!" responded the voice quite clearly.

Nodding to himself, Shun reached over and picked up the object, taking it with him back to the summer heat.....

Personality: Kayne is a very closed person he dosen't like opening up to people. That is so people don't get close to him and have to worry about him. But, in rare occasions, he might open up to people. Once he opens up to you he can be your best friend or your worst nightmare. Kayne is also abit overzealous at times and could be a bit clumsy when he acts like this. Once he went on vacation and went surfing. But, when he went on the waves, he hit his back of his head on a surfboard. However, this could work into his advantage. Once, he had a test and he aced it. This really helps him a times. So overall, Kayne is a Overzealous and closed-minded.
Physical Descriptions: Kayne is a towering 5'8" and has a average build. He has gray eyes and brown hair. He has blue jeans that is obviously to long for him. Kayne also has a halo on his white shirt. Kayne also wears a clear, pearl necklace the has a gold chain that holds the clear pearl. He has a ring that has a diamond that glimmers in the light. So, he mainly looks like a mild 14 year old.
Bio: Kayne ,known as the Valedictorian of his school, is a computer wiz. He is always on it.

"Honey," a women's voice called. "Honey," the voice continued to shake him.

"What?! Mom." Kayne said in releif.

"Get ready for school now." Mom said as she was folding his clothes into his drewer. "So, why did you wake up like that? Another nightmare?" she asked as she continued to put away his clothes.

"No. You just startled me," he paused trying to get his composure back. "I just went into a deep sleep." he looked over at the computer and noticed it was turned off while he left it on the night before. "Mom, can you give me some privacy right now?" Mom left as he finished the sentence. " Now how did this turn off?" all of a sudden the computer flashed on with data running across the screen. " Wha-" he dissapeared in a second and the bedroom was empty. Kayne left the human world into a different world.

Bandana: Pink (in this one case, I'll allow you to change color if you want to)

Oh, btw, the digivices look more like iPods/mp3 players so they blend in easier with Real World technology. They are even mp3 compatable and have headphone jacks to add to the camoflage.
