Digimon: SPECTRUM

Overview:
Somewhere in a world, there is a core of it. A heart, you may call it. It holds each and every fragment of a world. It archives each person’s story from the beginning to the end… It holds positive emotions of courage, kindness, friendship, and negative emotions of revenge, hatred, distrust. It is the very nexus of life; the very heart of all beings…

There are things in each world that mustn’t be discovered… Such as the heart of the worlds… The centre of a world is sealed away by a door, a gate, to never be opened again, for so it has been said and should ever be.

For as long as anyone can remember, there have always been two worlds. Many thought the world, the universe they lived in was the only one. They were wrong. There were two worlds, the Normal World and another world of majestic creatures and a world a digital magic, two universes so similar, so identical. This other world of digital majesty and surreal fantasy was called the Digital World. In the beginning of time, when matter spun and wove itself into the two worlds, that is when it was created.

The Normal World and the Digital World. This Digital World that co-exists with the ‘Normal’ World is home to a myriad of races of fantastical creatures called Digimon. These Digimon were not much different form us apart from one great difference: they possessed fantastical, unreal, even deadly supernatural powers. Their powers range from the ability to levitate a small teaspoon to the power to cause a Hurricane, even to take lives in mass numbers with the simple flick of a finger. Creatures of fantasy, of power, of destiny. Young Digimon were capable of ‘Digivolving’ into higher forms. They were intelligent, and they spoke in a language understandable by most humans.

The two worlds have co-existed for many centuries; some times being more peaceful than others. Nevertheless, we were only separated by a thin barrier of data streams and somehow the two worlds managed to keep relatively sound harmony. Although some do good and right, some Digimon are corrupted into darkness, seduced by evil. Their souls fall into the deep chasms of darkness, trapped in the void of sin and called to do the bidding of evil. These Digimon threatened the worlds: they subsisted on pure malice and evil, prepossessing unholy powers. Such dangers could not be kept unchecked.

Of course, darkness also engenders light, and thus Angelic Digimon also existed, chosen to save both the Digital World and the Real World. The leader of the Angel Digimon were a group of seven powerful divine fair Digimon known as the Seven Divine Celestials. Each of the Seven had a DigiCORE, and the seven cores together empowered the Seven Celestials and upheld the light of the Digital World. Together, these seven DigiCORES were called “The Septal Spectrum”, or simply “Spectrum”. Under the rule of the Seven Celestials, the Digital World flourished with peace, harmony, and prosperity.

Within each of the Divine Virtue embedded great power to save the worlds and defeat the impending darkness. The Spectrum upheld the pillars of light in the Digital World. And that is what the Spectrum did. The Celestials united their armies and soon vanquished the evil threatening the worlds, whenever the fragile balance of power was threatened. Without the Spectrum, the darkness that resides at the heart of the Digital World would erupt and threaten the fabrics of reality.

But there is no world and no society without its revolutionaries. During the reign of the Seven Celestials, a supreme Digimon called GranDracmon offered the Seven Divine Celestials a proposition. GranDracmon possessed a fervent zeal in Digimon: his wishes to preserve the peace were ascendent. In his passion, he believed the Normal World, teeming with humans, was corrupt and that Humanity was a threat to the sanctity of the Digital World. Hence, GranDracmon argued that for the preservation of the status quo, the Seven Celestials should eradicate the Human World.

Obviously, the Seven were horrified. So they declined and exiled GranDracmon into the Dark Area that lay at the heart of the Digial World. Within this treacherous void, GranDracmon went insane and lost his thoughts. Soon, his hatred to humans and the Human World expanded to the hatred of the Celestials and their Spectrum. An unquenchable thirst to destroy the forces of light consumed very nerve and became his reason of being.

Thus, this creature mastered and seized the power of darkness and came to rule the Dark Area.

Fuelled by hatred, GranDracmon rallied up the forces of darkness and launched an attack on the Spectrum. After a drawn-out battle, the Seven Divine Celestials fell and pillars of light fractured. The Spectrum was destroyed, its fragments lost to the aether. With a foul swoop, a cloud of darkness, like a plague, shrouded the Digital World and filled the lands with stench of carnage.

Without the Celestials, the forces of darkness were too strong. Something had to be done. So with the help of Gennai the Scholar, the last bastion of the Celestials' armies devised a plan. The idea was the call the help of humans. The “Chosen Children” or DigiDestined might possess the potential to re-gather the seven lost shards of the Spectrum and defeat the impending darkness. Perhaps these humans would be able to bring balance to a ruined world.

But the DigiDestined had to be called soon. The Chosen Human Children were to be called for the first time. Their Digimon and Digivices were already ready for the children. But the clock was ticking and if they didn’t succeed soon, GranDracmon’s Final Plan will come to fruition and it would be too late for both the Digital World and the Human World…

Summary:

You are one of the DigiDestined and you have recently been received emails from some anonymous person. You don’t know Digimon exist. You don’t even know about any other worlds apart from your own. Your goal is to defeat various Virus Digimon who are currently ruling the sections of the Digital World which they have invaded, thwart GranDracmon’s Final Plan, and reunite the seven shards of Spectrum. Your adventure starts in the Human World, where you are using your computer and will have your first encounter with the Digital World…

DigiDestined: Us. Chosen humans who work with Digimon to save the Digital World from impending chaos and/or destruction.

Digivice: A small handheld device, which allows you to cause Digivolution in your partner Digimon.

The type we use is the standard Digimon Adventure One Edition.

Spectrum Shards: Throughout your journey, you will collect the seven shard of Spectrum. There are seven Shards, one for each colour of the electromagnetic spectrum: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet. This serves to upgrade your Digivice, allowing your Digimon to access higher levels of power. Each player will only be allocated one Shard. You will need to find your Shard and discover the mystery of how to Activate it before you can access Ultimate and Mega Evolutions.

--
In the Digital World:
In their roleplay, each player will specify the actions they wish to perform, and like with other RPGs, the success of these actions will be determined by dice rolls and will be affected by your Digimon's current condition. High Offence will allow your Digimon to successfully execute an attack, while High Agility can allow to move quickly to another grid or area.

Also, players must keep nourished and must sleep. If your thirst and hunger levels are not satiated, there will be ramifications to both your Digimon and your character.
--

Basic rules:

1.) No God-Modding or 'invincible' players.
2.) I have the right to expel or refuse anyone who does not meet my standards.
3.) You have a right to know why I am expelling/refusing you.
4.) I expect you to at least skim each person’s post so you know what is happening. There is nothing more annoying than when someone defeats a certain Digimon in their post, and the next person posts saying that their character is fighting the certain Digimon. Please read.
5) If you are going to swear excessively, post a warning at the top of your post please. I don’t mind swearing if it is appropriate for that situation, but no needless swearing please.
6) The Combat Mechanism will be based upon a series of stats assigned to your Digimon. These stats include: Offence, Agility, Defence, Intelligence, Survivalism. Stats will be determined by the GM and will be given to you when your Digimon first Digivolves. Although most of you will survive, one of your Digimon will die during the Plot. Who that will be is to be determined at the a later day, with a private consulation with the player in question.
7.) Try to post at least once every week. Short posts are acceptable. I simply don't want this to die as soon as it starts. If we're waiting on your character and more than a week has passed, the Host has permission to briefly RP as your character until you come back.
8.) In order to Digivolve, you will need to firstly find your Shard and also find the emotion linked to that Shard. Similar to Crests, Shards will have a predetermined emotion linked to each other. Your character must discover and feel this emotion in order to Activate the Shard. The Activation process is part of the central mysteries to this RPG, although the Host will give you plenty of hints to discover it.
9.) Enjoy yourself.

The rules can be edited later.

I am cracking down on grammar, length and depth in this RPG. I will not, I repeat, not accept anyone who I feel cannot uphold to my grammar and RPG’ing standards.

Also, to prove you actually READ these rules, you'll have to say "Spectrum Activate" on the top of your Sign-Up. If you don't, I'll know if you actually read the rules or not.

At the very least, your Mega and Ultimate most feature the Spectrum colour in a prominent way. It will make more sense as more of the plot is revealed. Since I'm imposing that colour rule, I will accept non-official and fanmade Digivolution lines, if they're within reason!

Also, here is an example Sign-Up, the one used for the Blue Spectrum:

Spectrum Blue, Activate!

Name: Sofia Shone

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Nationality: German

Appearance: Sofia is of below average height for her age, resting at 5 foot 1 inch. She has a mostly slender figure, and she weighs a healthy 42 kg. Her build is distinctly athletic, and Sofia regularly participates in her schools track and field events, personally favouring track. Despite being well into puberty, her build can easily be mistaken for that of one much younger, which ultimately rests as quite a sore spot for the young adolescent.

Sofia's hair is of a light blonde colour, and is typically worn tied back in a small ponytail, the tip of which rests roughly at the nape of her neck. She ties the hair back using a long, deep blue ribbon, which is adorned at the edges with a small, silver fortissimo sign. The ribbon is precious to her, being an heirloom of a since deceased grandmother, and she very rarely leaves it anywhere but on her person. Her eyes are striking blue, a strong trait of her Germanic heritage, and they possess a certain degree of analytical coldness. Her facial features are rather sharp, almost taut, and normally only serve to accentuate the impression given by her eyes. Her cheekbones are high, certainly not unattractive, and her lips are quite thin. She very rarely wears make up, likely stemming from her athletic background where such adornment is considered impractical. She does, however, have a small ear piercing in each ear, small silver treble clefs adorning each lobe. Her nose is demure, and proportional, her most striking facial features being the aforementioned eyes and cheekbones.

Sofia talks with a soft, levelled voice, and she posses no thick accent. Her tone is typically quite calming, but she is not averse to raising her voice to prove a point.

Sofia wears rather plain clothes. Her standard attire consists of a somewhat loose fitting blue t-shirt, which is adorned at the neck with a small, repeating pattern of silver waves. Over this she wears a rather plain, green hooded jacket. The jacket is normally worn open for comfort, and is notably a size or two big for her frame, each sleeve having to be rolled up to just below her wrist, revealing that she wears a small silver bangle on her right wrist. The bangle is a thin piece of metal, but the centrepiece of the jewellery is a small fortissimo sign, much like the one adorning her ribbon, around which the rest of the bangle is coiled. The bottom of the jacket hangs down beyond her waist, the most telling sign that it is slightly too large for her. Sofia very rarely wears the jacket zipped up, and is largely nonplussed by the cold. In contrast to the jacket she wears, her jeans seem arguably too small, clear hugging the skin tightly and framing her slender legs. The jeans are denim, and their dark blue colour directly contrasts with the sky blue of her t-shirt. The jeans are worn alongside a thin, leather belt, the buckle of which is once again a small, silver fortissimo sign. The hem of the jeans rest just above the ankle, and allow others to see that Sofia typically wears no socks, as she finds the breeze which encircles her feet through her shoes as a consequence both comfortable and calming. Her shoes themselves are dark brown, leather deck shoes - a striking contrast to the rest of her rather standard attire.

Personality: When first encountered, Sofia can seem like an incredibly unapproachable character. This largely stems from the way she very rarely outwardly expresses extreme emotion, normally keeping her feelings well locked behind a placid face. The cold exterior has warded off many of her peers in the past, but Sofia overlooks this fact, more out of honest naiveté than conscious acceptance. This has led to Sofia becoming somewhat of a loner, despite her success as part of her school's track and field team. This does not bother the young girl though, and the small group of friends she has are incredibly precious to her, with Sofia willing to do most anything for them.

Although Sofia possesses many qualities which highlight her ability as a leader, she frequently shirks away from a job of such importance, largely due to her not feeling adequate for any such position. Her self-consciousness about her abilities is deep rooted, and despite the insistence of others, has not shifted at all. The self consciousness encompasses almost every aspect of her, including her body image, and is a source of great distress for the young girl. Her parents dismiss this as a simple stage of teenage adolescence, insisting that she will 'grow out of it'. This self consciousness is one of the main reasons that Sofia exercises so regularly, and she is convinced of the notion that nothing she does is up to the standards of those around her, possessing a distinct inferiority complex.

Sofia is incredibly close to her family, and like her friends, has incredibly loyal bonds with them. These bonds are unlikely to break, and Sofia typically finds that she very rarely gets into disputes with any of them, her calming nature serving to either diffuse the situation or allow her to easily see the others point of view in order to help becalm them. This is not always the case however, as despite her calming nature, Sofia is by no means submissive, and she can and will vehemently defend her opinion should she think the other party is incorrect. This extends to her sense of justice, which is incredibly central to the way she treats others. If Sofia deems something to be unjust, she will work against it, no matter whom the perpetrator is or how close she is to them.

One of Sofia's most dear past times is her music, most prominently her violin playing. Sofia excels at the violin, having practised from an incredibly young age, and the multiple adornments bearing musical notations that she wears is a direct consequence of this. Her violin is again a remnant of her deceased grandmother, the almost antique instrument being very dear to Sofia. Sofia's musical talent is the only thing that genuinely makes her feel good about herself, allowing her to remove the shackles her inferiority complex otherwise imposes on her, and she has received rousing commendation for her abilities. Her love for music extends to singing, as well as piano, but neither is quite as proficient as her violin playing.

Sofia has a prominent dislike for bullies, as well as those who rush into action without any real thought. The former of these is well rooted within her own senses of what is just, considering the use of physical or verbal force to incite hurt within another entirely wrong. She will actively combat any bullying which she witnesses, despite the risk to her own person. Her dislike for those who show overly impulsive traits largely stems from her own inferiority complex - she feels incredibly compelled to only ever act when she has a solid plan to fall back, and has a resenting admiration for those who can dive into things wholeheartedly without any of the meticulous planning she subjects herself to. Another huge dislike of hers is that many people often remark that she looks much younger than she is – she takes this as a slight against her small build, and becomes almost rudely defensive about it.

History: Sofia lived a very ... bland early life. She was born to a normal family, and received all of the 'homely' love and attention expected of a good, caring family. Those surrounding her in her early life were upstanding people, with there being a tradition within her family of the males joining the police force. This served as one of the strongest influences of her well ingrained sense of justice, most strongly influenced by her ailing grandfather. The frail man revelled in the company of his youthful granddaughter, as did his slightly older wife. It was her grandmother who first introduced Sofia to the violin - herself an avid player. It was during one of the lessons her grandmother imparted upon her that Sofia received both her violin and ribbon, which serve as long standing reminders of the love she has for both of her grandparents.

This homely cocoon within which Sofia slowly matured was rent apart shortly after her eleventh birthday. Both of Sofia's grandparents were ailing, and they passed away within quick succession of one another. Sofia went into a spiral of grieving, within which the cause for her inferiority complex lies. She, for a brief period, turned away from music entirely, the pain accompanying picking up her violin being too much for her small heart to bear. Eventually, after much coaxing from both of her parents, Sofia turned to the violin as a means of consoling herself - the antique instrument was her only remaining connection to the two she held most dear, and as such she began to dedicate more and more time to her practises. It became almost an obsession, and slowly spilled out into both singing and piano.

Sofia's school life was more or less average despite this interruption, the young girl having already managed to keep a tight lid on her emotions. She had a small, well knit group of friends, but she felt herself slowly beginning to drift away from them, her tightly held emotions driving them away. She eventually began to use sport as a means to supplement her social life, but her inferiority complex soon began to affect her. She pushed herself incredibly hard, desperate to prove herself a use to her school's track team, and despite numerous warnings she refused to let up on her training. This earned her a few notable enemies on the team - most prominently the team captain, who openly held Sofia in disregard because her dedication to the sport was moving her higher in favour with the team coach.

Eventually, Sofia realised that those around her were beginning to resent her for her actions inspired by her inferiority complex. Being an incredibly self conscious girl by this point, she began to put a tether on her actions, preventing herself from showing off her abilities too much. Her only refuge became her violin playing, which nobody outside of her family knew much about. She began to fall deeper and deeper into obsession with her violin, and the only thing which remedied this was her moving to a new school. There, Sofia immediately enrolled within the track team, managing to involve herself with a new group of friends. Managing to check her inferiority complex somewhat, she simply managed to hold her self conscious attitude within herself, at somewhat of a cost to herself.

As of the current time, Sofia has established herself a tightly knit social group. While she is by no means a socialite, and as mentioned earlier, somewhat of a loner, she is not unhappy, and cares for her friends greatly. Her love life has been sporadic, and incredibly inconsistent, her only real boyfriend having ended rather abruptly on a sore note for both of them. This remains somewhat of a 'berserk button' for Sofia, and she can easily lose her composure whenever the topic is brought up. Despite this, she is able to lead a more often than not contented life, despite all of her evident troubles.

Personality: An incredibly individualised Digimon, who prefers to be referred to as Julienne. As her name suggests, she is an incredibly buoyant Digimon, a stark contrast to Sofia’s normally cold demeanour. Julienne is full of life, and an incredibly happy influence on those around her, very rarely seen without a smile. She prefers to rest on Sofia’s head as opposed to walking while travelling, her small legs getting tired far too quickly for her liking. She, however, shares Sofia’s distinct sense of justice, and is much more vocal about it in her everyday life than Sofia, often urging her Tamer to be more assertive with those around her. In battle, Sofia is quick to charge in, believing herself tasked with the protection of her comrades - again, this trait is mirrored from Sofia. The most common point of conflict between Digimon and Tamer is the former's tendency to rush into battle with no prior thought - Sofia has an ingrained dislike for this trait, and Julienne is constantly berated for her dangerous actions.

Also, the game itself will be hosted up at the Ultimate Pokemon Network Forums.

So you're saying it won't actually be run on this site? Yeah...we don't allow that. Sorry.

EDIT: I'll keep this open as long as you host the game here. This is your one/only pre-infraction warning.

Red Spectrum Activate!

Character

Name: Niran Yami
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Nationality: Thai
Appearance: Niran is 1.71 meter tall and weighs 52 kilos, making him quite slender in appearance and he does not really show much muscle. His hair is black and it is also a bit longer than usual sporting a wilder haircut that makes his hair go everywhere. Aside from his black hair, his eyes are black too. In fact, his eyes are so dark in color it might seem like he has no iris at all, which might make people feel uncomfortable. His skin color is slightly on the lighter side for a Thai though. Niran has a scar on the left side of his face, behind the jawbone.

In terms of clothing Niran likes to wear hoodies, preferably one of his black ones with an elaborate Muay Thai logo on it. More often than not he wears just a hoodie, without a shirt or anything under it, as more isn't needed with the temperatures in Thailand, and he likes to wear it open, showing his unimpressive chest. Below his hoodies he usually wears some dark, worn out jeans and black sneakers with some red elements in it. Overall, if people were to see him for the first time, they would think of him as someone to avoid.

Personality: Niran is very reserved and doesn't show nor share how he feels, he keeps things for himself and that goes for everything. Even when he has that's worth sharing, or that would even benefit the group or himself, he still tends to keep that for himself too. Human interaction in the sense of talking and being open just isn't for him. Because of this Niran has very few friends and even less he calls close. It also makes it difficult to make new friends, but Niran doesn't really care about that. He prefers to spend his time playing videogames or hanging around and fighting in the back alleys of downtown Bangkok anyways.

Niran can also be very indifferent. When he doesn't care about what's going to happen he's fine with just doing whatever it is that keeps everyone of his back, which is the majority of the time. In groups he is just like that too, if it doesn't make any difference for him he just follows whatever the others decide, preferably limiting his own input to looking on from the side. However, in the rare occasion Niran does care about something he will make sure things will happen as he wants them to happen and if needed he is not afraid to use his hands and feet to get his point across. Violence is something Niran got used to on the streets and he is more than capable of handling pain as well as inflicting it.

There is another side to Niran too however, while he has only very few friends and even fewer close ones, if someone is able to break through his walls and manage to earn his friendship than Niran is the kind of guy that would walk through fire for you. But a lot must happen before someone has earned his friendship.

History: Niran is the only son of a Japanese father and a Thai mother, his family lives in a condominium Pathum Wan District of the city, not too far from Siam Center. Both of his parents work and have a reasonably good job that enables them to maintain their lifestyle in this expensive area of the city and to send Niran to a good school. They both want him to succeed and give him a good life. Their efforts however, have an opposite effect on Niran. He used to be a happier and open kid, but in the past two year things have changed. His parents pushed him to focus on school and that has led to Niran developing an aversion to it. As a result he tends to skip school whenever he can. Instead he goes to hang around in the back alleys of the area. At first this was just to play and escape school, but keeping up appearances is important in Bangkok and a lot goes on behind the this mask and Niran has found that out the hard way.

One day after escaping school again he ran into a group of thugs. They demanded he gave them his money and other possessions, Niran refused because he had nothing and he ended up getting a beating. This fight is also where he got his scar, they threatened him with a knife and cut him before they beat him up. The result might even have been worse if it wasn't for another group interfering. Niran knew they saved his life and decided to join this group of loiterers. They took him in and taught him how to use Muay Thai in battles. They needed Niran to know how to fight for himself, being on the streets isn't easy and groups of street kids got in fights all the time sometimes resulting in severe injuries and massive blood loss, or worse. And so Niran spend even less time at school and used his time to train instead. Niran never got professional however, his fighting style is based on survival on the streets and is more an evolved version of Muay Thai using more dirty tricks fit for street fights.

The time on the streets and with his gang, combines with his pushing parents, changed Niran a lot. When he is home all he does is play videogames, he doesn't talk to his parents anymore. If anything he put in a half baked effort to make it seem he's doing something for school, just to keep them from bothering him. And as soon as he gets the chance he is away. His street group is where he learns things, they taught him to fight and thanks to them he knows how to fend for himself even with little resources and supplies.

Personality: Impmon is somewhat similar to Niran in the sense that he too doesn't share much with others, especially not about his feelings or anything else that can be considered personal, and that he too can be very indifferent about anything that doesn't directly concern him. Unlike Niran however, Impmon is much more talkative. While he doesn't talk all the time, Impmon does comment on everything he has something to comment on and those comments are more often than not negative, sarcastic or cynical in nature. But this is partially explained due to Impmon being a Virus-attribute Digimon, which also goes for Impmon's violent tendencies. When he talk, no matter how or about what, and people to don't listen or if he just needs to get someone's attention, he tends to go Bada Boom on them to get their attention. And that said, doing so is something he actually enjoys.

Nationality: Russian

Appearance: Long Blue-Violet coloured hair that she usually ties in the back so that it doesn’t get in the way, though a small tuft of hair may fall across her forehead at times. Her ponytail is rarely well-groomed and often messy due to her frequent sparring sessions. She has big deep-blue eyes which may distract from the rest of her face such as her pale-looking skin that makes her seem fragile and her thin eyebrows which are almost permanently fixated in a frown, giving her a more serious complexion. She has a relatively slim build with a bit of gained bulk from her kickboxing lessons, weighing in at about 53 kg with a height of 155 cm.
She prefers wearing her sparring uniform which consists of her baggy lightgrey sweatpants that have two distinct Watermelon-Pink stripes going from top to down on her two sides and a sleeveless shirt with the same two colours. She also prefers wearing her lightgrey sneakers and fingerless gloves for sparring, both of which have the same indigo colouring as her hair. When outside or in cold conditions, she usually wears her coat as well which is a much darker grey with dark purple lining.

Personality: Irina is what some might call a tomboy though she never considers herself to be one. She practices kickboxing and enjoys sparring but still enjoys such 'girly' things as shopping, though not as much as many other girls her age. She’s quick to step in if she perceives something as morally wrong, irritated and even ready to resort to violence if need be. She has the overwhelming sense that you can’t always talk to people to sort out differences or injustice and would much rather get straight to the physical confrontation.
She has a bit of a naïve sense of justice in that everyone should do the right thing and the strong should protect the weak. If anyone is caught misusing their power or bullying, Irina likes to step up and challenge this person, confronting them openly and not backing down. She’s not aggressive though, she has a gentler side which allows her to make friends easily and get along with others pretty well. She has a wide circle friends with which she regularly hangs out with and a little kind-hearted sister of which she is protective.
Most of her free time is spent on her hobby which is kickboxing. She’s taking classes and though she’s no expert, she’s learning it fast. When not at kickboxing lessons she spends time in her room sparring, working on her fighting technique by punching or kicking the air.

History: Born into a relatively simple family that own an apartment on the outskirts of a city. Her parents have never been around a lot, always being busy with work or chores that needed to be done. She spent most of her time with her older brother who has been a huge influence on her personality-wise, having gotten her interested in contact sports such as boxing. He left four years ago when she was only twelve and she doesn’t remember much of him or why he had to leave. He still keeps contact but almost never visits. Ever since, Irina has been looking for other things to do to with her time and so followed her interests and started taking up kickboxing lessons. Since this was around the time she entered her teen years, her mother made a bit more effort to involve herself in her life and has tried to downsize Irina’s more tomboyish nature by making her wear dresses and bright colours. Irina never minded this much and has, on a few occasions, worn a dress or two but they never appealed to her and so she never wore them for very long. She much prefers her training uniform since it gives her the feeling she’s ready to act if necessary. She has adopted some bright pink and purple colours into her outfit though, having come to like them. Especially the blue-purple colours and other shades of indigo.
One day in elementary school, she gave both her parent’s a bit of a fright when the school principal had to call them to his office. It turned out that Irina had gotten in a fight earlier that day. A certain boy was picking on a girl in the schoolyard, pulling on her pigtails and kicking up dirt. It was Irina who stepped in and told him to stop, getting in a fight with him. The result of which was that Irina was the one who got punished because the boy ended up crying. She was forced to apologize, which she did, and promise to never pick on him again. The next day, the bully came up to her and apologized to her and to the pig-tailed girl. To this day, Irina has kept contact with them and the three consider each other friends despite their method of meeting each other.
She has a younger sister of eight who’s a bit more of a girly-girl then Irina which has at times caused a communication problem or two. Despite this contrast between the two, they seem to get along perfectly well with Irina being protective of her in much the same way that her older brother was to her. Her little sister may not have an interest in sports or fighting but Irina has enjoyed the occasional plush-toyed tea party. Her favourite is of course the rabbit with blue-purple paws and ears which used to belong Irina when she was younger.

Done! up to criticism and willing to make edits.

Name: Charm Elandrithon (She almost never uses her last name because it is so hard to spell and pronounce)
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Nationality: American

Appearance:
Charm is often described as strange. She has Shoulder length hair that is dyed green. Her hair is often placed in a ponytail. She also has a tenancy to don a black cap with a logo on the back that says "Ornithopters". She is about as tall as Renamon and weighs almost nothing. She has pale blue eyes and very light skin that is often marred by a sunburn or two. Her face is an unreadable mask and she does not let her emotions show.
She tends to wear 4-5 watches on her left arm. Each watch is a different shade of green. She has a black bag running over her right shoulder that she carries all kinds of things in. Her wardrobe consists of a green tee shirt and a black skirt. She also will wear a jacket. She takes this off if she feels to cold however and she tends to leave it in places often losing it. She also wears a pair of brow hiking boots that she can run jump and use all she wants. She thinks that boots are the most practical type of foot wear and that anyone that disagrees with that should be locked up in a mental facility.

Personality:
Charm has a confrontational personality she likes to fight. She often will bait or pick on people to provoke a fight. If given the option she would always stand and confront problems instead of leaving. She treats her friends as assets always taking advantage of them or trying to get ahead. In her opinion the best human quality is brevity because "We all just need to get to the point." Although she goes against this all the time often speaking in riddles and giving answers in roundabout ways. She also likes to fix her own mistakes hesitating to ask others for help. She considers herself better than others and will never accept defeat. She is totally willing to lie, cheat and/or play dirty to win or get ahead. She also lies or tells half truths to avoid putting herself in bad positions. She often gets caught up in these lies however and can't usually get out of it. Her approach to diplomacy is "If you disagree with me, death, imprisonment, or both in any order." She almost never will change her mind. She tries to hide it but she is actually a nice and kind person. She goes against what she really is because she thinks that kindness is a weakness.

History:
She was the middle child of a large family. Because of this she learned how to manipulate and control others. She often would provoke fights in the house and would be able to squeeze out of trouble letting her siblings take the blame. She does have two people she confides in. She confides in her older brother Walter. He has been a model to her of what a good person should act like. Walt. is a boy scout he helps others and keeps his moral standards high. Although she does not follow his example she holds him in great esteem. She is always willing to tell him what is on her mind or about problems she has. She also confides in her friend Crash. He saved her live. When both of them were thirteen Charm was walking along the walkway when something had caught her attention on the road. She went to the middle of the road not noticing the car speeding down the road Crash saw the car and ran out yelling trying to catch her attention. He ran up to her pushing her out of the way. The car ran over Crash's leg breaking it. The leg healed and Charm wondered why he would do something like that. To this day she considers him her only true friend.

Name: Seung-Il Lee [ 이성일 ]

Age: 13

Gender: Male

Nationality: Korean

Appearance: Seung-Il is notably shorter than most boys his age at 147cm (4'10"), having not undergone most of the growth spurts associated with puberty. Along these same lines, he has a soft, childlike face and wide brown eyes. The rest of his body, however, is toeing the bottom lines of an average weight, his limbs being quite lean, his collarbone well-defined, and his tummy entirely flat, pushing him ever closer to the "small fry" image. The one thing about him that might be considered slightly mature is his well-kept, silky, brown-bordering-on-black hair, cut down to the level of his thin eyebrows and just enough to sweep about the back of his ears and neck. Though a bit peaky overall, his skin does have a very light tan to it, belying how much time he spends outside. Seung-Il has a large scar across his stomach running just a titch off of horizontally, granted it doesn't have the playful or even interesting story that most other children expect of him.

Due to his tightly-wound mother and steadfast father, Seung-Il keeps himself well-groomed as a whole, keeping his hair combed straight and clothes pressed and of the right size. This being said, being of his age and somewhat active, he tends to save wearing "nice clothes" for going to school or out with his parents. On most days, he wears some variant of jeans or brown canvas pants, a solid-colored tee shirt, and white tennis shoes, though they nonetheless tend to remain clean. Granted, Seung-Il will just as readily walk around without his shoes when it's safe and convenient, and has a habit of not wearing socks for this very reason. During colder months, he wears around a white cloth jacket with black sleeves, though the arms are cut a size too long for him and end up covering his palms.

Personality: Seung-Il looks like a child at first sight, and his goofy, fun-loving demeanor does little to throw anyone off this line of thought. In his own little bid at gathering friends, he puts forward before anything else his fondness for puns and non-harmful jokes, granted his humor comes across every bit as childish as one would expect from a thirteen-year-old. He makes a conscious effort to stay grinning and turn uneasy or unsure situations into a joke, whether or not this ends up falling flat depending on the listener.

Past his social front, Seung-Il is the son of a banker and a part-time university professor, and as such was raised with his mind focused toward his studies. Very keen on observing a situation and taking everything in before speaking his mind (which helps as much with opening jokes as it does with test answers), Seung-Il may seem a bit slow to act to some, but he does so surprisingly deliberately for someone of his age. His patience also gives way to passiveness, meaning that he will frequently give up his say entirely in more minor decisions, leaving him with a frustratingly vague opinion on what he wants for his birthday or what to do for the afternoon. In this way, Seung-Il is very much a follower and a wingman, a position with which he finds himself very comfortable.

Most days, Seung-Il will aimlessly meander about the few blocks between his family's apartment and his school, making use of the school playground after hours whenever other children are there and watching the myriad people pass by the streets when not, inventing all sorts of "what-if" stories about what they're passing by to do. Other days he'll readily pick up a book (though nothing so heavy as to not be finished in an afternoon) or aimlessly change through the television channels until he finds something familiar. As a general rule, he finds familiarity to be safe and enjoyable, and that any excitement he might need he can make within his habits. Not that new places or situations particularly unnerve him, but he will quickly blind himself to the outrageous and strange in order to latch on to what's familiar.

Despite living in the inner city of Changwon (a heavily-industrial city with a population just over one million), Seung-Il is only up-to-date on popular culture on a few subjects, and only familiar in theory with the remaining majority. His parents being largely homebodies outside of work, Seung-Il doesn't get out to movies frequently, and he has hardly more than a passing interest in video games as anything more than another way to play with other people. In all, this is one of Seung-Il's shortcomings: that he is more concerned with getting along with other people than with forming hard, solid relationships, and as such makes a better buddy than friend in many ways. This same line of thought makes it hard for him to stand his ground or say something potentially offensive, making him a bit of a weakling along with a bit of a child.

Despite being so laid back and malleable about a multitude of things, Seung-Il has his peeves and his preferences. He is vigorously afraid of needles and disdains high-pitched noises, along with generally disliking bitter foods and not being a fan of the stuffy summer months. He loves early spring and late fall, though, and has a particularly soft spot for peaches, cats, and (Korean) pop music.

History: By the time Seung-Il Lee was born (with a few complications and surgeries, resulting in a lifelong scar across his chest), his parents were already in their mid-thirties and entrenched in their jobs at a major bank and the nearby university, meaning that they had a variable amount of time to spend at home with Seung-Il in spite of him being their only son at the time. So, with his parents beginning to trust him at home alone for a few hours as soon as he was past toddler years, he quickly became quite mild and found comfort in his familiar apartment surroundings for lack of anything better to do. Even as Seung-Il entered primary school, he was one of the quieter kids in his class, well-behaved but ultimately a wallflower. And a shrimpy one, at that.

These things together made him a great target, so he naturally gained the nickname "Shorty" and, while he was never the direct target of pranks or was physically attacked, he became the butt of a lot of off-hand jokes, and almost all the children in his class ended up not thinking much of him at all. Not wanting to speak up for fear of making things worse, Seung-Il was "Shorty" for close to two years running. About the time he turned seven and he had come to terms with the situation, his parents had a second child, this time a daughter. Oddly enough, his new sister, Mi-Ra, wasn't ever a baby, but showed up about two years old, but Seung-Il wasn't really an expert on whatever science specialized in babies, so he just went with it. What he did know was that she made messes very easily, and ran around and climbed and yelled a lot more than he ever did. And that wasn't making his parents or him very happy, since everyone ended up cleaning up after little Mi-Ra.

The one advantage Seung-Il had in this situation was that Mi-Ra was easily distracted, even if he so much as made a funny face. And that would make her laugh, which made him feel good, so why not? Seung-Il acted goofy around his sister and play silly, harmless little games, and from time to time his father or mother might briefly join in, and nobody had to clean up much and they all had a good time. So Seung-Il thought about this and decided that maybe if the people who called him "Shorty" were laughing at his jokes, they wouldn't be laughing at him instead, and he'd have their attention for something other than being short, and they really couldn't pick on him for being quiet if he was being funny instead.

So, one day at school, when one of the girls in Seung-Il's class tried to ask him why he couldn't be taller, he answered that it was because his name was "Seung-Il", not "Taller". It came across every bit as lame as one might expect, but that didn't matter. The others were laughing because of how lame the joke was. That didn't matter, though. His classmates decided on a whim to let him tag along to the park to see if he had anything else dumb and silly to say. He came up with a few things, and so they decided to let him come with them again the next day after classes. And again. And soon enough, the other kids in class got wind, and he stopped really having problems being around the other students, and even started to have jokes thrown back his way on the playground. Not the hurtful ones from before, but genuinely friendly, silly remarks.

Granted, he still isn't at the top of the pecking order, but people would willingly come up and talk to him now. He'd be asked to come out and play soccer from time to time, or go to the mall and look at but not buy adults' fashions. And that was certainly something that he was okay with, and that's largely how he's been for the last four years.

Things have started to get confusing again lately, though. Seung-Il's parents are considering placing him in a private high school, one that would put him several hours' drive away from home. Compounded with this and the other stress abound with learning about "how life really works" and becoming a young adult, Seung-Il hasn't exactly been slacking in biology. By this point, knowing that children always start at no years old and tend to look like their parents when they grow up; and that neither of these things describes the Mi-Ra who has grown out pale brown hair and joined a junior softball team; he is a bit confused on if Mi-Ra is his sister at all, and is a bit afraid to talk to his parents about it at all. Not to mention that the girls in his class are getting giggly-but-not-because-something's-funny and hard to talk to.

Confusing all around.

Name: DemiMeramon
Description:

Attacks:
Flame Shot - Blows balls of cinders at the opponent. These barely qualify as fireballs, really.

Name: Muchomon
Description:
200px-Muchomon.jpg

Attacks:
Ardent Flare - Spits fireballs at the enemy. Straightforward.
Tropic Beak - Leaps at the enemy, piercing them with his beak.

Personality: Throughout most of his evolutions, Muchomon remains decidedly arrogant and thick-headed, very confident in his own strength as a Digimon even as a teeny Punimon. This can cause him to act before thinking and wander into very dangerous territory on his own, and can make him quite the handful to keep reined in. Despite this, he cares deeply for his own kin, ready to stand his ground very fiercely in defense of his own home or partners. This is where his temper comes into a positive light, giving him tenacity outscoring many other Digimon of his class. This tenacity leads into his equally-furious appetite, making him quite the boisterous Digimon in spite of his size. Muchomon is in general quite impatient and messy, reminding Seung-Il in more than a few ways of his little sister.

Muchomon is equally bird-brained in refusing to admit his own faults. After all, why shouldn't the obvious solution work if you keep at it long enough? His brashness and straightforward, full-force attitude leave him completely ignorant of nuances, however. Metaphors are completely and utterly lost on him, and he has no aptitude for detail-oriented work or deception. A volatile mind means that he is able to switch from one thing to the next very quickly, and seldom gets bogged down by intellectual means for the same reason that he cannot effectively deal with it.
