Okey, so, The Ancient Tamers didn't work, Adventure: Generation either, let's try this:
Plot:
Is 2304 AC, scientist have begin to create genetically altered animals, by injecting a deadly virus known as the "Data X2.0". Data X1., however, killed all the other experiments, all were failures. Until one day, George Lukason, a highly professional scientist working on the Data X project, found a code in an ape's DNA. A genetic code that can be altered, using the most advance technology ever used, even in this century.
The project was a sucess, and Data X2.0 is born. The ape of the century, the first, ever, Digimon, is created.
However, there had to be a flaw.
The ape, named Lucy, named after George's wife, went berserk and killed George. She went rampaging through the city, slamming on cars, knocking down people as she rampage. But what she doesn't know, is that her blood, flesh, skin, all were altered, changed, turned, into data. Data X2.0 was meant to turn animals into nothing but data, but the flaw is, insanity will occured. And not just that, is infectious. To humans, and animals, therefore, both humans and animals turn into data, after just a few seconds of contact with Lucy.
200 years later, 2504 AC. Five kids, not knowing of what had happened 200 years ago, continued with their everyday ordinary life. Even though the virus, Data X2.0, stopped infecting 10 years after Lucy's rampage, it might just come back. Humans now live in a unknown planet named Quadrat 9, a rocky, torrid watseland, where humans built their household with nothing but rocks and sand. It was impossible to built anything on this piece of wasteland. They have abandoned Earth, due to Lucy's rampaging. The humans of the past kept silent, therefore, no one knew what or who was Lucy, what was Digimon.
Trouble, is coming, a mysterious spaceship was detected. What's inside, is five mysterious creatures. Unidentified creatures.

Appearence: Jimmy, besides from his weird hairdo with the peg-like shape sticking out of his hair, wears a futuristic space suit with soft cushion pads on it, with a pair of silver-colored trousers and another pair of silver colored sport shoes.
Personality: Jimmy's smartness didn't go to his head, all he knows about would be the famous old, very very old century Sherlock Homes. He's no difference from Homes, a junior detective he is. Curious, nosy, these are the traits that got him in trouble most of the times. He just can't stand criminals, especially murderers. He always think through his had before acting.
Background: Jimmy, had very little knowledge of Lucy. Yet, out of all the humans on Quardrat 9, he, is one of the few peaple who knows about the ape. He tried to do research on the past, not finding out anything at all, unfotunately. His parents, an actor and a writer, had no time for their kid, yet he doesn't mind, too busying searching for the past.
