Digimon: Tournament​

Digimon and humans have lived in harmony for years. Some digimon wish to live by themselves and some digimon have decided to become partners with a human. The partners system was first started when a group of kids called the DigiDestined brought the digital monsters into the human world. It took a while for the humans to accept the digimon, because before evil digimon had attacked all around the world. But eventually digimon were accepted. At first the humans lived separately from the digimon, and the digimon were okay with that. But that way of life came tumbling down when a digimon saved a little boy from being crushed to death by falling debris.

From that day on digimon were accepted into human society. And it was that digimon and little boy that were the first partners. The term 'DigiDestined' had been long forgotten and it was thought that the humans and digimon weren't actually destined to save the world from a big bad evil. The partnership between a digimon and humans went on for years, and it was only between one human and one digimon until it happened. When a child was getting his partner something strange happened. Instead of getting the regular egg, baby or in-training, a rookie was given to the boy.

Over the years more and more kids were receiving rookies and soon it was thought to be common. As well as getting a higher level digimon, the humans were starting to live in the Digital World. After the humans moved into the Digital World, with the permission of the digimon, tournaments were set up. Of course these tournaments were not winnable by killing an opponent, they were won by the digimon that knocked out the most opponents. These tournaments grew popular and soon there were hundreds of them scattered around the Digital World. They became so popular that soon a World Championship Tournament was created. The very first World Championship Tournament only had the best of the best digimon and partners. The idea was supported by all, but little did anyone know, the Tournament had ideas other than just finding the best battler of all. But nobody knew about the intentions of the tournament holders and so all the challengers accepted willingly.

Where You Come In:​

You are one of the contestants in the Tournament and you must try to stay in the tournament while trying to figure out what the tournament holders want. The reason that you know that something shady is going on, is that you were approached by a group of people that claim that by entering the tournament you are in serious danger. But they explain to you how to be possible safe.

Name: Karmas Michaeli

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Description: Karmas is about six feet tall and weighs about one hundred and eighty pounds. He has a slightly round face and large ears. His light hazel eyes are considered small and beady, and his nose is slightly squashed against his face. Karmas' hair is short and black, and is spiked up with hair gel. His skin is a light olive colour, it never seems to change from that colour even when in the sun. For Karmas choice of clothing he has a set style that he enjoys wearing. He normally wears a black tee-shirt that has the words 'Shout Out Loud' written on it and a pair of red pants that reach down to his shins. Karmas also enjoys wearing a red cape. The collar of the cape goes up to his ears and the cape reaches down to Karmas' feet.

Personality: Karmas is music obsessed. When, given an instrument Karmas will sit down and spend hours just trying to learn to play it. He also likes to talk about music a lot. Then again, Karmas just likes to talk. He will yabber on and on until somebody makes him shut up. Karmas is quick to help and doesn't think that anybody is underneath him. But he does have a slight anger problem. Karmas will get agitated when someone insults his music and if the insulting continues to go on he explodes. Karmas is also very reckless. He doesn't believe all that much in tactical planning and likes to rush ahead of things.

History: Karmas was born in a small country town in Australia. Where he lived was close to the coast so Karmas has always loved the ocean. His parents were average income earning people and loved their child very much. They also had digimon partners of their own. So Karmas also grew up around digimon and always wanted his own. When he was seven Karmas moved into the Digital World. After moving to the Digital World Karmas was able to obtain his digimon. Karmas met Lapimon when he went out for a walk with his parents. The boy had gotten separated from his parents and was terribly scared. But Lapimon had found the boy unintentionally. The bunny had been looking for some food when he ran into Karmas. Seeing that the boy needed help, Lapimon led him to safety and the two discovered that they were happy around each other, so Lapimon became Karmas' partner. Karmas had been entering tournaments for two years when he got the invitation to enter the World Championship Tournament. After he got accept the boy was warned about the possible intention of the tournament holders.

Name: Bullemon
Description: Bullemon is a small pink blob. He has a short pair of droopy bunny ears that criss cross at his nearly non-existent nose.
Attacks: Bubble Blow: Shoots bubbles out of his mouth.

In-Training
Name: Petite Lapimon
Description: Petite Lapimon is a round and stout rabbit. His fur is silky smooth and as white as snow. His ears are large and always drooping to the ground. Petite Lapimon's legs are short and stubby. The little rabbit's tail is a perfect cotton ball and his mouth is nearly as big as his body.
Attacks: Bounce: Petite Lapimon bounces into the air and plummets into his opponent.

Rookie
Name: Lapimon
Description: Lapimon is a large rabbit. His ears still droop to the ground but they only just touch the ground. As with his In-Training form Lapimon has silky smooth white fur. Along his cream stomach Lapimon has three red butons. His claws are small but can grow bigger.
Personality: Lapimon is generally a jokester. But he can act seriously, he just doesn't wish to. He can get jealous quite easily and Lapimon never thinks about things, he just rushes into them. Lapimon will never take an order from anyone other than Karmas.
Attacks: Bunny Punch: Lapimon's fist elongates and hits his foe.
Ear Twist: Lapimon's ears grab his opponent and squeeze.

Champion
Name: Leumon
Description: Leumon is basically a lion. He has a silver mane, and his fur is white. On the end of his tail Leumon has a large pom-pom. His paws are larger than they should be and a pair of spikes poke out of his shoulder blades.
Attacks: Pom-Pom Pounce: Leumon leaps at his opponent and slaps them with his tail.
Silver Spray: Leumon's mane shoots hundreds of razor sharp hairs at his opponent.

Ultimate
Name: VleuLeumon
Description: VleuLeumon is larger than Leumon but hasn't really changed all that much. A pair of giant bird's wings have burst out of the spikes on VleuLeumon's shoulder blades. Wings have also sprouted from the sides of his paws. That's about the only difference from Leumon.
Attacks: Swooping Pom-Pom: VleuLeumon flies towards his opponent and hits him with his tail.
Gust of the Leu: VleuLeumon flaps his shoulder wings and creates a whirlwind that he can mentally can control.

Mega
Name: HeilLeumon
Description: HeilLeumon is bipedal and wears a white robe. The robe obscures all but HeilLeumon's head and front paws. The robe is held there by a golden belt. His fur is now black and his mane is still silver. HeilLeumon still has wings, but he only has one pair. He has an axe strapped to his waist.
Attacks: Heilig Axe: HeilLeumon attacks with his axe.
Heilig Roar: He roars and sends a shockwave towards his opponent.

Description: Ben is a brown haired boy with green eyes. He is about medium height.
he wears a blue t-shirt with a picture of a black dragon on it, but this is usually covered by a green jacket. He also wears blue denim jeans and white trainers that have several holes in them. his clothes have various damage caused by Digimon attacks and several incidents in the wilderness.
Personality: Ben is a bit of a hot head and gets angry very easily. However he does care about Guilmon.
History: Ben was born in New York and was 12 when his parents moved into the digital world. Ben resented having to move away from his friends and started rebelling, at first small things like refusing to do chores. Eventually he ran away and wound up in the mountain area of the world. He was constantly attacked by Digimon during a storm until a Guilmon came and helped him for some reason. as the storm stopped Ben went to sleep and woke up with a Digivice by him. After that Ben went home and started competing in the newly started tournaments with Guilmon, discovering many things such as Digivolution. After Ben recieved his invitation to the world tournament he was heading there when he was stopped by a man who told him that the tournament organisers were planning to unleash something called the Master Reaper upon the digital world and that the key to stopping them was to become as one with a Digimon. Ben laughed it off, thinking the man was mad and continued along to the tournament.

In training form:Gigimon
Description: Gigimon is smaller than Guilmon and looks like a ball of fur with wings and a mouth. Ben has never seen Gigimon so far and chances are he never will becuase Guilmon conserves energy very well. However some fights during the tournament may drain enough energy for Guilmon to De-digivolve into its In-training form.
Attacks:Hot bite

Rookie form:Guilmon
Description:Guilmon helped Ben fight off a horde of Digimon in the mountains for reasons it has never told him and probably never will. It is quite a serious Digimon and hardly ever laughs, although sometimes it can't resist. It also shares its tamers bad temper and has lost it on a few occasions, nearly getting Ben disqualified from tournaments. It once shared such a rage with Ben that it Digivolved into Megidramon and nearly destroyed the whole digital world.

Champion form: Growlmon
Description: Growlmon is possibly less serious than Guilmon which is a good thing as it rarely gets angry, let alone angry enough to Digivolve into Megidramon. However its jokes have sparked off Bens temper a few times. Growlmon is still quite an important Digimon for Ben as he uses it in most matches. Ben first Digivolved Guilmon into Growlmon during a tournament battle against a Cyberdramon. Guilmon wasn't strong enough to win but Bens encouragement gave Guilmon the strength to Digivolve despite being terrifyed of it.

Ultimate form:Wargrowlmon
Description:Wargrowlmon looks like an overgrown dinosaur with havy weapons all over its body. Bens Wargrowlmon is quite strong, but finds it hard to aim accurately. Ben has only managed to Digivolve Growlmon a few times so he is still learning Wargrowlmons abilities. Wargrowlmon is very serious and manages to keep its temper in check. It also enjoys battling.
Attacks:Atomic blaster, Radiation blade,Trinity burst

Mega form:Gallantmon
Description: Gallantmon looks like a knight with a lance and shield. It Digivolves from Guilmon by Bio-merge Digivolution. Ben hasn't managed to use Gallantmon yet for two reasons. One is that he is still learning about Bio-merging and does'nt know how to do it. The other is that Bio-merging is banned during normal tournaments, but Ben is hoping to use Gallantmon in the anything goes enviroment of the world tournament.
Attacks:Lightning joust, Shield of the just,Dragon driver,Yuggoth blaster,Lightning charge.

Evil

Name: Drew Williams

Age: Fifteen

Gender: Male

Description: Drew has dark, shaggy brown hair that goes down to right above his shoulder. He has blue eyes, and light skin. He wears an orange T-shirt with a yellow sun symbol on it and a pair of old, stained blue jeans. His blue jeans are rather baggy, and very old. His tennis shoes are white with red stripes and red laces on them, but the white on them is faded. He wears a pair of blue goggles on his forehead.

Personality: Drew is very hotheaded. He can't resist a challenge and often rushes in without thinking. He's not the brightest bulb around. You can always find Drew taking charge, and charging headlong into a fight with his Agumon at his side. He simply must be the best at everything from soccer to eating. His competitiveness often leads to fights with Agumon and others. Drew loves to play sports. He's very athletic and loves soccer and basketball.

History: Drew sighed and kept walking. It was very unlikely that he would ever get a Digimon. All the kids he knew that had Digivices had received them from supernatural sources.

That night…

It was midnight, and Drew couldn’t get to sleep. Something was bothering him. He couldn’t figure out why he hadn’t gotten a Digivice. What was so special about some kids that they had gotten Digivices and he hadn’t? What made them different than anyone else? Drew couldn’t get it out of his mind. All he could think about was Digimon.

“I don’t think I’ll ever get to sleep,” Drew muttered, getting out of bed and putting his slippers on, “I guess I’ll go outside for a minute for some fresh air.”

Drew quietly tiptoed downstairs and through the pitch-black kitchen to the backdoor. He slowly pushed the door open. It creaked. He stopped for a second, and then pushed again. It creaked again, but less loudly. After another nudge, the door opened enough for Drew to walk outside into the yard. His cat, Snickerdoodle, was sitting on the doorstep. Drew quietly stepped over him, and, quietly, of course, walked out into the yard.

He sat down on the wet grass and looked up at the stars. It was a clear, night sky, with thousands of visible stars. One of the stars, a bright white one, seemed to be growing closer and closer. It seemed to be calling to Drew.

Drew, It seemed to beckon, Come to me…

But what it really would have said was, Drew, I’m coming to you…

Because that’s exactly what it did.

The star flew through the sky at an amazing velocity, charging straight at Drew! It flew directly to his chest, but it didn’t hurt. Drew put his hands where the star had hit. He felt a small, metal object there. He stood there trembling, holding the strange device in his hands. It was a DIGIVICE!!!

The next day…

Drew couldn’t believe it. He had received a Digivice! Now what was he to do?

“Well,” Drew said to himself, after finishing breakfast, “I’ve got my Digivice, now what?”

After a few minutes of contemplating everything he knew about Digimon, he stood up and said, “That’s right! Yesterday, that boy said you have to use a computer to get into the Digital World!”

With that in mind, Drew rushed out of the house, telling his mom as he passed her, “Seeya, Mom! I’m going to the Digital World for a little while!”

Drew’s mom had long, brown hair, and blue eyes. Her skin was fair and she wore a green shirt and a white skirt covered by a pink apron. She had just finished baking a pie for dessert later.

“That’s nice, Dear,” she replied, waving ‘bye to him, “Wait. What?! You come back here right now, young man!”

She was too late. Drew was out the door and on his way to school. It was Saturday. He wasn’t going for school; he was going to the computer lab, so that he could get into the Digital World.

After arriving at his school, he ran through the doors and past the janitor. He went up two flights of stairs and into the first door on the right.

“Here we are! The computer lab!” Drew said to himself, turning a computer on.

The computer began to boot up, but it seemed to take ages.

“Come on! Come on!” Drew muttered, getting aggravated, “Boot up already!”

The computer screen lighted up, and Drew gave himself a thumb’s up. Drew pointed the Digivice at the computer screen, and a menu opened up. It said, “Do you want to enter the Digital World?”

Drew quickly pressed ‘yes’, and felt himself being transported through the computer.

Two minutes later…

Drew opened his eyes and sat up. He found himself in a field of tall grass. There wasn’t a tree around for miles. He stood up to see over the grass. About twenty yards away he could make out two figures. They were facing each other and seemed to be in a fight. They were panting heavily, and each had his arms raised up in a fighting position. The first was a tall monstrous creature who stood at about seven feet tall. His fierce eyes glared at his opponent. His body was green and hideous. He had long, grey hair that extended down to his waist. Two large, black horns protruded from his head. He had pointed ears; each was decorated with an earring. His huge mouth hung open, baring his vicious fangs. He carried a huge bone club in his large left hand. The only bit of clothing he wore was a small, black loincloth.

The other was a small dinosaur-like monster. His skin was a bright yellow color. He had three sharp claws on each hand, and a red leather belt wrapped around each wrist. This creature was four-foot-six.

“Get outta my way, Agumon!” screamed the first monster, charging at the dinosaur.

“No, Ogremon, you get outta my way!” retorted the second, also charging forward.

The two creatures met hand-to-hand, or rather, hand-to-claw. The creature known as ‘Ogremon’ was larger and had the upper hand. He easily threw Agumon aside.

“PUMMEL WHACK!!!” Ogremon screamed, punching Agumon in the stomach, sending him reeling.

“I can’t just stand here and let that Digimon get killed!” Drew said to himself, rushing to the rescue.

“Hey, Ugly,” Drew called, drilling his fist into Ogremon’s back, “How’s about you pick on somebody your own size?”

“AAGH!!” Ogremon yelled, losing his balance and falling over.

Upon realizing what had happened, Ogremon swiftly jumped back up and faced Drew.

“How dare you intrude on our gentlemon’s fight?! YOU WILL PAY!!!”

Ogremon swung his mighty club at Drew, but fortunately, Drew was ready. He quickly ducked out of the way and punched Ogremon in the stomach.

Agumon sat up in the grass.

Who is that kid? He thought, He’s actually beating that Ogremon!

“YOU WILL DIE!!! PUMMEL WHACK!!!” Ogremon screamed at the top of his lungs, sending a flying punch in Drew’s direction. This time, Drew wasn’t ready and he was blown back several yards by the attack.

“HAHAHA!!” Ogremon bellowed, walking over to where Drew lay on the ground, gasping for breath.

Ogremon raised his club for one final blow.

“Spitfire Blast!!!” Agumon shouted, as streams of fire spewed out of his mouth. The flames hit Ogremon at full force, knocking backward.

“Are you okay?” Agumon asked, running up to where Drew lay.

“I’m fine, thanks,” Drew replied, struggling to stand up.

“You don’t look fine,” Agumon said, helping him up.

Ogremon was furious now. He jumped up, and lunged at Drew and Agumon. His club was raised high and he was ready to kill anyone.

Drew dove and pushed Agumon out of the way.

“Thanks, kid,” Agumon said, “That’s twice you’ve saved my life.”

“Don’t mention it,” Drew replied, standing up, “Looks like we’re gonna have to work together to beat this thing!”

“Right!” Agumon said, raising his fists, “You give the orders, and I’ll follow them!”

“Here’s the plan,” Drew whispered, “This Ogremon fella seems to be pretty easily distracted so you distract him with fireballs while I jump on his back. Got it?”

“Yep. But what do we do after that?”

“I’ll make him mad by giving him a few good punches in the noggin and you finish him off with that Spitball Blast of yours.”

“Spitfire Blast,” Agumon corrected.

“Whatever,” Drew replied, “Looks like we’re gonna have to put this plan into action, ‘cause here he comes!”

Ogremon was out to kill. He hated Agumon, and now he hated Drew even worse! He sprinted toward Drew and Agumon at full speed, swinging his club as he ran.

“Ready, Agumon?” Drew asked.

“Ready!” was the reply.

Drew gave Agumon a thumb’s up and the duo dodged Ogremon’s swings. Agumon started off by pelting Ogremon with fireballs as Drew jumped onto Ogremon’s back.

“Eat my fists of fury!” Drew yelled, barraging Ogremon with punch after punch in the head.

“Pepper Breath!” Agumon shouted, breathing balls of fire at Ogremon, each one nailing him in the chest and stomach.

“Now for the big punch!” Drew shouted, giving Ogremon the punch of a lifetime.

“What?” Drew exclaimed, pulling his fist away from Ogremon, “M-my fist is on fire! But it doesn’t hurt!”

Ogremon reached behind him and grabbed Drew by the shirt and threw him to the ground.

“GAH!! That hurt!!” Ogremon screamed, rubbing his aching head.

“Kid!” Agumon shouted, running up to Drew, “You’ve activated your DNA!!”

“DNA?” Drew asked, staring at his flaming fist.

“Yeah, it allows your Digimon partner to Digivolve!”

Agumon stared at Drew for a second, and then he asked, “You do have a Digimon partner, don’t you?”

“Not yet,” Drew sadly replied.

“Well then,” Agumon announced, “You’re in luck! I don’t have a human partner yet! Looks like you and me are gonna be the best team ever!”

“Wha-what did you say?” Drew asked, “Alright! Let’s do this! How do I use my DNA?”

“Beats me, but you’d better figure it out fast, because Ogremon’s coming back!”

Drew began pressing random buttons on his Digivice. Nothing was happening. He tried slapping the top of his Digivice. When the palm of his hand touched the receiver at the top, the screen lit up and Agumon was surrounded by a shining light.

“Agumon Digivolve to…GEOGREYMON!!!”

Agumon’s Champion form, GeoGreymon, confronted the charging Ogremon. Ogremon halted. He wasn’t as stupid as he looked. He knew GeoGreymon could easily beat him.

“AAAAH!!! RETREAT!!!” Ogremon screamed, running for his life.

“NOT SO FAST!!!!” GeoGreymon roared after him, “MEGA FLAME!!!”

Huge flames poured out of GeoGreymon’s mouth and engulfed Ogremon. Drew watched as Ogremon slowly whittled away into a mass of data and then into a Digi-Egg.

When Drew glanced back in GeoGreymon’s direction, he found that Agumon was standing there instead.

“We did it, Agumon!” Drew called, running over and giving Agumon a high-five.

“Yeah, Boss!”

“Boss?” Drew asked, looking very puzzled.

“Well, in that battle, you gave the orders, I followed them, that makes you the boss!” Agumon replied, with a big grin on his face.

“Cool!” Drew exclaimed, “Looks like we’re going to be the ultimate team! I can’t wait to introduce you to my parents back home! Boy, are they going to be surprised!”

Months later...

"A tournament?" Drew exclaimed, "Whaddaya mean 'a tournament'?!"

"We want you to enter this tournament," replied the man, "In order to stop the tournament organizers."

"What?!" Drew shouted.

But the man was gone.

"Who was that guy, Boss?" Agumon asked.

"I don't know," Drew answered, "But it looks like we're entering a tournament!"

RPG Sample: Drew stared out onto the battlefield. The smoke from VictoryGreymon's last attack had finally cleared, revealing a limp body of HerculesKabuterimon, his opponent, was lying on the ground. HerculesKabuterimon's Tamer, a boy named Wes, ran to his beaten Digimon. Drew turned to congratulate his Digimon, VictoryGreymon, for their third successive win that day.

Drew's Digimon:

Baby
Name: Botamon
Description: A ball of black fluff. Botamon has beady yellow eyes that constantly dart back and forth. Not much else is known about Botamon, since Drew has never seen his Agumon in Botamon form.
Attacks: Bubble Blow

In-Training
Name: Koromon
Description: Koromon is a small, round, pink Digimon with long, rabbit-like ears. He has red eyes and a mouth full of small teeth. He is very loyal to Drew even when he's up against a Digimon much larger than himself. Koromon is rarely seen, however, since Agumon hates being in this form.
Attacks: Bubble Blow

Rookie
Name: Agumon
Description: Agumon is a small, yellow dinosaur Digimon. A special breed of Agumon which bounds his arms with red leather belts, he is supposed to be a Rookie level that is completely different from a normal Agumon's conventional evolution. He is still growing, and his power is weak, but firm, sharp claws have grown on both his hands and feet, allowing him to demonstrate some powers in battle. His special attack is "Baby Flame", where he spits out a breath of flames from his mouth in order to attack the enemy. In addition, his "Baby Burner" attack allows him to store up his "Baby Flame" attack in his mouth and spit out at a stretch, giving him preeminent powers.
Personality: Agumon loves eating and is almost always thinking about food. When he's not thinking about food, or eating everything in sight, he's fighting alongside Drew against Wild Digimon. Agumon can’t stand when someone else’s stomach capacity rivals his own. Eating is his hobby, and he simply must be the best at it. He *almost* always follows Drew's commands without complaint. Overall, he’s a very loyal Digimon partner.

Champion
Name: GeoGreymon
Description: A subspecies of Greymon, this Digimon is supposed to also be a special breed. He became this more aggressive form by developing his weapon-like body from head to foot and making his encrusted head more rock-hard. His special attack is "Mega Flame", which spits out a hyperpyrexia from his mouth that burns everything down in his path. In addition, his "Mega Burst" attack allows him to raise his "Mega Flame" attack in his mouth to its extremity and spit it out at a stretch, giving him explosive powers. Furthermore, he can charge into the enemy with his huge horns and crush it to death with his strong "Horn Impulse" attack.

Ultimate
Name: RizeGreymon
Description: A Cyborg type Digimon who has mechanized more than half of his body. He flies across the sky and defeats the enemy despite his lumbering big body. It is said that the offensive abilities produced when he fires the huge revolver on his left arm is akin to a nuclear warhead, and is impossible to defeat due to its terrible power and blazing reaction. In addition, the barrel is made from Chrome Digizoid so that it can produce powers itself. His special attack is "Trident Revolver", which gets its name from the three beam guns that fire a high-speed blaze, which is fired along with the oral-shaped chest plate and the barrel made from Chrome Digizoid. In addition, he can rush into the enemy and destroy it with his huge revolver in his attack of "Solid Strike", giving him preeminent powers akin to a solid blow.

His "Trident Gaia" attack allows him to centralize all the energies that exist in the atmosphere around the tips of his seperatable "Dramon Breaker" sword (which he can also attach to his arms), and fire them at the enemy; "Dramon Breaker" is also the name of a daring sword attack where he swings his huge crushing sword of the same name onto the enemy. In addition, his unique sword attack of "Victory Charge" allows him to repel the enemy's attacks with his huge sword. Also, VictoryGreymon bears an evolutionary code that is different from Digimon who have originated naturally in the Digital World; thus, it is considered that this Digimon evolved from those who were born via artificial data intervention.

My story is that the tournament organisers are actually Hypnos, the government organisation in Tamers and since the D-reaper they have created another reaper but it needs a controlling intelligence so Hypnos are trying to find the worlds best Digimon to control the master reaper after they turn the Digimon evil.

Name: Colin (Col for short) Smith
Age: 17
Gender: male
Description: Col has unruly black hair which is usually covered by a green cap with a picture of the sun on it. He wears a black t-shirt with a golden dragon on it and team digi tamers written on the back. This is his club t-shirt. He also wears black tracksuit trousers and pristine Nike trainers. His eyes are blue and he is quite tanned from being in the desert area of the digital world for a while. He is quite muscular and a bit taller than average.
Personality: Col is an energetic boy who plays with his Digimon a lot. He is friends with loads of people and is a good team player. He also has a good temper. However sometimes he is reckless and takes massive risks. So far he has been fine but he will get caught out eventually. He also is very brave and loyal but this could be used against him. His favorite people are his best friends Luke and Aaron as well as his brother Sam. He hardly sees them becuase of the tournaments though. However he writes to them as mutch as possible whenever he wins.
History: Col comes from California and enjoyed lots of sun and sea there. When Digimon attacked his home Cols life changed. His parents were Tamers and they had enemies. One night a group of Digimon led by the royal knights Gallantmon attacked. His dad died trying to fight them off with his partner Dracomon. Cols mom was taken by Gallantmon and Col has sworn that one day he will rescue her. At the time Col was 10 and has spent most of the following 7 years with foster parents. After he found the digi egg containing Shadowmon his life changed again. When the egg hatched Col raised Shadowmon up to its current stage of Darkmon. He has competed in numerous tournaments with Darkmon and still has not unlocked all of its powers. When he received the invitation to the world tournament he was mildly shocked, but accepted. As he walked through the desert to the arena a group of hooded people stopped him. What skin Col could see was blackened and burned. They told him that the royal knights had set up the tournament with their own agenda and that he should be careful. Then they disintegrated. Col continued along, shaken but more determined than ever to win the tournament.
Rpg sample: “Jump Darkmon” Col yelled urgently. The shadowy Digimon leapt over the Growlmons Pyro blaster attack and landed delicately on the ground. “Allright, its Digivolve time” Col said, gripping his Digivice, the small computer that allowed him to control his Digimon. Col pressed his finger down on the screen and Darkmon was surrounded by white light. “Darkmon Digivolve to…… Pyremon” Darkmon declared from inside the light. When the light faded Darkmon had been replaced by a taller Digimon, about Cols size. Its whole body was made of bluey-white fire with red gem like eyes. “Pyremon, use Shadow destructor” Col instructed. Pyremon threw a bit of fire at Growlmon that detonated with a burst of black energy. Growlmon was knocked to the floor and De-digivolved to Guilmon. Col had won.

Digimon.
Baby: Shadowmon
Description: Shadowmon is a small vaguely human lump of shadows. It is made from some of the data from the destroyed D-reaper which allows it to absorb energy more quickly than other Digimon. However this means that sometimes it uses too much power and its attacks fail. Shadowmon is rather cynical and criticizes Col for making bad decisions. Col found Shadowmon in egg form and managed to hatch it. Then Shadowmon was quickly trained into Digivolving.
Attacks: none

In-training: Ghostmon
Description: Shadowmon was bad enough, but Ghostmon is worse. It constantly complains and whines, which drives Col insane. Habits not withstanding, Ghostmon is actually a cute floating ball of shadow with a face.
Attacks: Shadow breath) Ghostmon breathes out a wind of shadow energy that damages the enemy.

Rookie: Darkmon
Description: about the size of a ten year old, Darkmon is the first stage in Shadowmons Digivolving line that Col is happy with. It battles fairly well and doesn’t complain. Unfortunately Darkmon is a vindictive bully who loves teasing and tormenting others. However it does listen to Col. It is a humanoid shape with sharp claws.
Attacks: Shadow swift) Darkmon rushes extremely fast at the foe.
Dark multiply) Darkmon creates copies of itself which are physically real and controlled by Darkmon.

Champion: Pyremon
Description: Pyremon is about Cols size and now looks like a cross between a human and a dragon. Small wings reach out of its back but it still has human hands. Its body is made out of flames that reach 400 degrees Celsius. However you can’t feel the heat unless you touch it. Pyremon never speaks except for when it uses its attacks so its personality is unknown.
Attacks: Shadow destructor) Pyremon throws some of its flames which explode upon impact.
Pyro burst) Waves of fire shoot out of Pyremon.

Ultimate: Skeledramon
Description: Skeledramon appears to just be bones but it actually has shadowy flesh over its body and scraps of metal armour in certain areas like its shoulders and over its head. It looks like a dragon that is about two meters tall. Col hasn’t got Skeledramon yet so he doesn’t know its personality, but it will probably be a spiteful and vindictive creature.
Attacks: Skele breath) Skeledramon fires a breath of shadowy fire.
Dracon slash) Skeledramon powers its claws and slashes at the foe.
Dark defend) Dark energy makes a shield around Skeledramon.

Mega: Reapermon
Description: Reapermon is Shadowmons Mega form and is created by Bio-merge Digivolving. This makes it absorb the most energy from its surroundings and makes it have incredibly strong attacks. It looks like a human that can float and is made of shadow. Most attacks go straight through Reapermon, but light can hurt it. It also carries a scythe and has blades sticking out of its arms. Col has never got Reapermon due to the difficulty of Bio-merging, but he hopes to achieve it someday.
Attacks: Reaper tempest) Reapermons blades fly out of it and spin ferociously around the foe, damaging it.
Mirror minion) as the name implies Reapermon creates a perfect copy of whatever this attack is used on. Reapermon can control the copy, but this requires intense focus.
Pyre blade) Reapermons scythe is covered in fire that immolates whatever is hit.

Name: 'Saito Takeba'
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Description: A young man with neatly kept black hair, and brown eyes that are constantly in a 'sleepy' state. Standing at 5'6'', he is considered to be of a relatively average height. The blue t-shirt he wears has its symbol of 'friendship' obstructed by the grey sleeveless vest that he wears. A pair of thin glasses adorns his face, and is equally distracting from his 'sleepy' eyes. A pair of deep pocketed jeans and well worn shoes finishes off his appearance.
Personality: 'Saito' enjoys playing games, and as such, also enjoys using a number of different aliases. Although fairly impatient, he finds ways to vent this, and enjoys establishing a 'caring' and 'understanding' outward appearance in order to best gather information. In truth, his only real desire in life is to gather and learn as many things as possible. Whether fighting at the front or simply watching carefully from behind, 'Saito' always attempts to have the best hand when playing the game.
History: 'Saito' is the alias of the young man known as Den. As a fairly elusive drifting gamer, he came upon a mysterious site that claimed to have the 'direct link' for those wishing to become Digimon Tamers. The very idea that a single website had such a power was, in his mind, more likely than not simply a hoax. However, his curiosity getting the better of him, Den signed up for this place, and used the name 'Saito' to do so. Days passed, and Den's suspicions seemed to be true. There was no sign of anything relating to Digimon occurring. Coincidentally however, while he was napping one day in a usual spot, Den came across an injured Gazimon. Although it attempted to fight back against the human, Gazimon was simply too weak, and collapsed in to Den's arms. Taking home the injured Digimon, Den cared for it as he would for any other wounded creature, and kept it strictly within the confines of his room. Unknown to him however, Den's house would then easily become the target for a rogue Growmon. After a rather lengthy stunt, Den and Gazimon managed to take down the rouge, and consequently were given an invitation to join the Championship battle. Along with the invitation though, came a warning....

"Exhaust Flame!"

Den took careful note of the massive size of his next opponent. It was a lizard-like creature in appearance, and had skin that was as hot as the flames it spewed out. The white mane that covered the back of its head seemed to be used as an insulator of sorts, and only added to the power of the Digimon's flames. To further its powerful appearance, the target had skin that grew into what looked like horns. On his arms, it sported blade like protrusions, and the tattoo like markings were easily noticeable as the 'warning' symbols of the Digital World that he had seen on his way in-transit to it. Its name, according to the one that issued the order was Growmon. As a viral type Digimon, it had a fierce personality. Although Growmon were fairly tame if evolved from a tamer raised Digimon, wild ones tended to be more in tune with their wild side. Exhaust Flame, its first attack, unleashed a constant stream of intense fire. Its Plasma Blade was a more deadly attack that used its blade like protrusions to slice up foes at a closer range. All in all, Den saw this as a great training practice.

"All right Gazimon, it looks like we've got ourselves a big fish here." He commented, as he took cover behind a nearby tree.

Gazimon, in his typical nature, simply shrugged. As a former Mihiramon, he had been quite used to exterminating the Adult staged Digimon that randomly attacked humans that entered the Digital World. Unfortunately for him, his last fight as a Mihiramon had been one that he had taken too lightly. As a result, he had been devolved down to the measly child stage. Unlike before, he wouldn't be having the advantage in power. On the other hand, fate hadn't been too bad to him. After all, his target was a gigantic fire breathing lizard. As a small rabbit, he would easily be able to maneuver past whatever long attacks it could throw, and easily counter with his own. All in all, the situation was still nothing to worry about.

As expected, the Growmon rushed forth first, with a typical roar as it did. While the giant mass of muscle came charging at him, Gazimon looked around a bit at the surroundings. As they were in a forest like setting, there was easily a number of trees that he could escape to in order to avoid the attack. In this case though, he felt it might be in his best interest to simply stay in the position for a little longer than usual. Growmon's charge continued, and Gazimon let off a quick smile. Sucking in air, Gazimon converted it into his special attack by producing the noxious gases that his child form's species was so well known for. When Growmon reached the appropriate distance, Gazimon shot forth a nice cloud of his standard technique.

"Paralysis Breath!" was shouted out as Gazimon breathed the noxious fumes forward. At its speed, Growmon was unable to stop in time. The gases surrounded his head and entered his nostrils. Almost instantaneously, the fumes sent an agent that stripped control from Growmon's body. For the moment, he was left incapacitated, despite being in an upright position.

Gazimon took this opportunity for what it was worth, and dashed up and over the body of his target. Much like a cat, he crawled over his enemy and dramatically leaped over the monster's back, flipping so he could be facing forward as he landed. Focusing all his energy into his right foot, he stared down at the location where he was to land. As he fell faster, he extended his foot and slammed hard into the location just below Growmon's heel.

"Pitfall!" As he shouted this, the ground beneath Growmon's feet easily crumbled. In a matter of seconds, Growmon fell into the hole that Gazimon created, and was still quite paralyzed. With the finishing blow revealing its chance, Gazimon took it, and drove his nails into Growmon's neck. As strong as his hairs were, Growmon's silvery stood no chance as his muscles were left unresponsive. Gazimon's sharp nails pierced Growmon, and shattered his intimidating adult form. Like glass, what had formerly been there dispersed upon the wind. What was left was nothing more than an egg colored with red and black stripes.

Name: Zurumon
Description: A creature that resembles golden slime, or a pool of fallen ice cream. Its yellow body, coupled with a pair of dark red eyes give it an intimidating physical appearance, even for a baby. In truth, this form is made of a rather rubbery substance, and can easily stretch to great lengths without causing too much pain on itself.
Attacks: Poison Bubbles.

Name: Pagumon
Description: An evolved form of Zurumon. This stage is of a more solid substance, and manifests as a ball like shape. The purple-grey hairs on its body seem to give it a sinister look. Upon its head, Pagumon has a pair of ears that curls up into an odd position. In truth, these ears can also act like hands. Its red eyes are always in a state of happiness, though one can never tell what Pagumon is thinking.
Attacks: Poison Bubbles

Name: Gazimon
Description: An evolved stage of Pagumon, typically seen as its natural evolution. In this stage, Pagumon keeps its purple-grey fur, as well as its sinister looking eyes. This state gives it a more realistic appearance however, and has an even more rabbit like look than before. Here, large black claws have grown from its form, and are seemingly kept in check by the leather bands that are around its paws. Oddly enough, these bands are only present in usual members on the tail. As an evolved state, Gazimon is able to stand on its own hind legs, using its front paws as arms. Unfortunately, the evolution has stripped it of the usage of ears as arms.
Personality: Much like a usual member of his species, Gazimon has an innate impish side. Playing tricks is his major thing, and doing so easily satisfies him. On the other hand, his perceived past life as a guard of the Digital World often conflicts with this nature. Regardless of which is the 'truer' side, Gazimon is fairly sarcastic, and it can never be known what he is truly thinking. Combat is his favorite activity, and in battle, he enjoys showing off his own strategies, which more often than not are either directly the same as Den's, or are completely opposite.
Attacks: Paralysis Breath, Pitfall, Nail Strike

Name: Goatmon
Description: A Digimon that materializes in the shape of a goat possessing a neck accessory with digital symbols. In keeping with its prior forms, Goatmon also has gray fur. The golden horns on its head are curved in an arch-like shape, and almost give it a royal appearance. Around each leg is a chain, and hanging from its beard is its 'mystic bell'.
Attacks: Mystic Bell, Milky Erode, Body Blow

Perfect
Name: Knightmon
Description: A heavily armored Digimon with a bulky appearance. Much like the soldiers that he is modeled for, Knightmon sports a number of weapons, including a gigantic sword used most often. His armor is made of fairly tough Digizoid, and isn't easily penetrated. The shield he wears on his back is marked with the Digital symbol for 'Hope', perhaps suggesting they were brought forth into the Digital World by Angelic Digimon.

Name: Metal Garurumon
Description: An armored Digimon that takes the form of a wolf. Little of its body remains uncovered, with a majority of its form concealing a number of hidden artillery type weapons. Its snout supposedly carries a seeking program that allows it to hunt down its foes, even in the dark. Boosters on its back allow it to charge forth at full speed, and the golden blades on its back can serve as both weapons and wings.

Gender: Male
Description: Even though Steven was a clever adult, he could still be easily tricked. His blue eyes never suspected a thing, and his scruffy blond hair showed a kind and happy person. His clothes were casual but cool and looked like they belonged to one off the more rich peple in the Digital world. But they didin't. His red baseball hat turned on its side was all someone needed to see for them to think he wasn't rich. And his small brown Tennis shoes were no where near expensive to buy. But they were not tacky either. His tiny nose could sniff out trouble easlily and he had musscles, not many, but he did have some. He was under-average height for his age group.
Personality: He is a very calm and collected character and he would never say a rude thing about anyone, that is, until he gets on the battlefield! He goes crazy with anger and fury as he tries to battle his way to the top of the league in every tournament he enters. This is where his hard work and dedication shine through! He can get very hot-headed on the battlefield, and make mistakes which would damage him and his Digimon partner. He can easily run out of patience with his opponent, and send out attacks before his opponent is ready to fight. He hates losing more than anything in his life, and wouldn't even consider quiting a fight for the safety of himself or others.
History: Steve met Kunemon when he was exploring the forest by himself one day. He was walking around when he saw Kunemon on the floor injured. he picked him up and gave him medical treatment. They have been best friends ever since! Steve got his invatation to the tournament against his last opponent. It was him and Kunemon against a boy and his Wormon. He went through a tough and difficult battle, in which he had almost no chance of winning. But his Kunemon managed to Digivolve and beat the opponent. After the battle he was approached by a gang. The gang had very strange looking Digimon with them. They bumped into him, knocking a invitation into his pocket. Steve read the invite, and it told him to come to the Digimon Tournament, but on the back of the leaflet, there was a warning...
RPG Sample: "Kunemon, you have to Digivolve!"

Steve was crying after what he just witnessed. His best friends Digimon, Monmon wiped out before his eyes with one single attack. "How could a Digimon do such a thing?"he thought to himself quetly. The tears were going down his face.

"I don't think I can Digivolve Steve!"
"But you have too!"

Steve was crying badly now, he stared at his opponent, Andromon just standing there, motionless. He didin't even seem to care he had just killed an inoccent Digimon. "I have to be strong, be strong... be strong for my FRIENDS!!!"As he thought this his Digivice started to glow, as did Kunemon!

"Kunemon warp Digivolve too... GRAND KUWAGAMON!"

GrandKuwagamon smiled at Steve and charged straight at Andromon. He started to attack with all his strength, hurting the enemy badly. But Andromon was yet to be beat, he struck GrandKuwagamon with a single, huge blast, almost wiping it out. But GrandKuwagamon was prepared, and used a X-Scissor Claw to finish off Andromon, desolving it to Data.

Personality: A young and happy spirit, Kunemon would never turn a fight down. He loves to Fight, and more importantly, win! He can be a bit stupid and dissobay orders, but most off the time he is a loyal caring Digimon.
