Eight friends are at school, attending math class.
Jimmy Kudo, a bright kid who's justiceful(always stands up for justice) with the combination of his weird hair with a peg-like shape sticking out of it, not mentioning his smart brain, is looking at the white-board with his mouth wide opened. Obviously, the math lesson didn't interest him at all.
Violet Parr, a self centered, goth girl whose hairs covered her face. She never ever has a bright side, only when she saw Tony Rylinger, her crush. Jimmy had a crush on Violet, though. She laid her body with the pink top on the table, again, obviously having no interest in the lesson.
Tony Rylinger, the coolest kid in class, he likes rock music and soccer just as much as Jimmy, he and Jimmy are best friends, they don't get along very well, though. He also knows martial arts, which he practiced every day with his uncle. His parents are gone, so he have to live with his uncle now. However, unlike the others, he payed attention to the math lesson.
Phil Diffy, a science geek, only knows about science. With a spiky hair-do and a cool outfit of a white t-shirt and a blue jeans, he doesn't look anything like a geek. And there's a saying for him, never judge a book by its cover. Obviously as a science genius, he too payed attention the lesson, no matter how boring everyone else think it is.
Lil Diffy, Phil's popular twin sister who also designs her own clothes. She's wearing one of her own designed clothes right now, a green sweater with short sleeves, a red skirt which looked like it cost a large amount of money, she could easily win the best dressed contest, held every year in the mid-terms. She's too busy worrying about what's she going to wear later in the afternoon to notice the math lesson going on.
Gust Arnold, he's not as wimpy as he looks, he's still wimpy though. Kind of a nerd, but still tries to "survive" the everyday school life. With a pair of nerd-like glassers, a blue-striped shirt tucked in in his brown shorts, no wonder he is placed in the nerd cliche.
In another class, the rest of the heroes were having English class.
Dashell Parr, Violet's annoying little brother(as if Violet's life is not bad enough), he always fights with Violet, but deep inside both of them, they actually like each other. Wearing a yellow t-shirt with a blue shrts to go with it, he drools as the lesson goes by...
Kimi Kudo, Jimmy's sister who Jimmy ‘likes likes’(as in incest), he knows is wrong, that's why he turn his attention to Violet instead. Kimi is nice, probably the nicest girl you will ever met, beware though, she, like any other people, have a temper. She looked at the white-board, and turned her head towards Dash, she gave a sigh, knowing that there's no hope for Dash, is there?
The bell rang, everyone stomp out of the classroom, except for some of the students.
“Come on! Violet! Mum is cooking roast chicken at home right now! Uh, on second thought, you stay here.” said Dash who had just came from his class.
Violet growls with anger as she thinks about all the time her brother play pranks on her, like yesterday when Dash puts a farting bag on her seat when uncle Lucious arrives.
"Little dweeb." thought Violet.
When Jimmy reached home, tired and exhausted, his dad (Booker Kudo) ask him to take out the trash.
"Stupid trash, this is so heavy." said Jimmy as he drags a heavy garbage bag towards the trash bin.
Suddenly, a digimon poke out of the trash bin.
"Aarrhh!" Jimmy dropped the garbage bag when he screamed which made him drops the garbage bag which then reveals all the nasty trash inside, there were apple cores, pear skins, and a leftover sandwich.
The digimon that pops out looks like a mutant, it has lot's of small spikes and plated armor everywhere. Not to mention two small horns on his head, two small fangs sticking out of his mouth, two small floppy ears, small claws on his hands and have quite a long neck.
"Eeewww." said the spiky creature.
"Oh great, look what the dinosaur done.” said Jimmy as he picked up the trash and putted them in the garbage bag. “What are you anyway?" said Jimmy as he gazes upon the strange, spiky creature.
"I'm a digimon!" said the creature while it smiles.
"You mean those creatures those kids use to save the world? What're you doing here, is there danger?" said Jimmy as he remembers how digimons used to save the world when it is in danger.
"I'm not a creature! I am Beastmon! And I'm here to find you.” said the creature who calls itself Beastmon.
"WHAT!" shouted Jimmy as he, once again drops the garbage bag.
"Here, I'll help you." said Beastmon as he helps Jimmy pick up the trash.
"You mean, you mean, I'm a..."
"A digidestined." said Beastmon as it gazes upon Jimmy's worried face.
"... ..." Jimmy kept silent, as he thinks about how he is going to bear all those responsibility Tai always talk about when he is telling Jimmy about his adventures.
At Violet's house, Violet lies at the couch, listening to an mp3 player.
Suddenly, a turtle-like creature taps at the window.
Violet gets up of the couch, removing the headphones from her head and opens the window.
"Who are you?" she asked.
"I'm a digimon!" said the critter.
"I know that! What digimon are you, and what are you doing here?" asked Violet as she looked at the spikes around the creature's sides.
"Vi, who're you talking to?" asked Violet's mum, Mrs. Helen Parr, as she carries a plate of roasted chicken.
"Umm, no one, mum!" replied Violet nervously, as sweat drops from her forehead.
Mrs. Parr walks away slowly, thinking that Violet has been very self-centered lately, not knowing what's going on with her life.
"I'm here because you're a digidestined." whispers the creature.
"I'M A WHAT?" shouted Violet, only to be heard by her mum.
Mrs. Parr rushes back.
"Is everything ok honey?" asked Mrs. Parr, still carrying that plate of roasted chicken.
"Uh, yeah, I'm ok, I'm just singing that song, "I'm A What", yeah." said Violet, who is feeling quite embarrassed that she actually said that.
Mrs. Parr walks away again, curiously.
"I can't be a digidestined! I have too much pressure in my life!" whispered Violet.
Meanwhile, in Dash's room.
Dash is lying on his bed, thinking of Violet shouting.
"Stupid shouting sister.", even though saying that, Dash still rather likes it when Dash shouts.
Suddenly, a leopard kid-like creature peeks out of Dash's bed.
"Hi!" said the creature.
"Arrrgh! Cool! A digimon! If you're here, that means...I'm a digidestined, I'm a digidestined!" Dash shouted while continuing to hops on bed shouting, "I'm a digidestined".
"Dash too?" asked Violet, with a surprise look on her face.
"Well, technically, you and your other 8 friends are now officially, digidestineds," said the turtle.
"Which means..." thought Violet, wondering if the same thing happens to Lil or not.
Next day at class.
Violet: enter the class holding a cage with a cloth covered over it and putting it beside her seat.
While Jimmy pushes a large crate using those kinds of things that you can push crates with, putting it just outside of class.
"What's that?" ask Lil, looking at Violet’s strange and weird cage.
"It must be a dog." thought Lil. "For Violet to cover the cage like that."
"Nothing. Listen Lil, did anything...weird happen to you yesterday?" ask Violet, remembering what that turtle said yesterday.
"..., I'll tell you after class." answered Lil, which gives Violet the answer she's looking for, the turtle's not lying! Well, no turtle soup tonight.
The bell rings after half an hour later, is recess! Everyone rushes out of the classroom, even our heroes, all of our heroes, for unknown reasons...
Lil brought Violet to the Girl's Room.
"Guard the door, Violet. Palmon, you can come out now." said Lil. Then, a plant like creature with stubby feet, vines on it's hands & a beautiful pink flower on her head, making this creature not as ugly as Violet's turtle.
"Who is she?" ask Palmon, looking at Violet in a curious, yet friendly way.
"She's my friend, Violet." answered Lil.
"Nice to meet you Violet." said Palmon, as she continues to stare at her friendly, but still curious about this, human.
"Nice to you too, um, Palmon, is it? Nice flower you got on your head. So I guess it told you that..." Violet said, wondering if this creature knows that Lil is a...
"That I'm a digidestined? Yeah, SHE, not it, told me that the..." answered Lil, thinking what Palmon said in her house yesterday when she is making the shirt she is wearing today.
"Others are digidestined too, Toromon told me." answered Violet, as she remembers how Toromon tell her its name yesterday in her room.
"Who's..." asked Lil, wondering if Toromon's a pet of her or something, not knowing digimons' names always, end with the word, 'mon'.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot.” said Violet as she lift up the cloth on the cage. “This is Toromon." said Violet, as she lift the cloth from the cage, revealing the turtle at Violet's house yesterday.
"Violet, this box is not comfy. Who's your friend?" asked Toromon, giving Lil the same look Palmon gives Violet.
"Hi, I'm Lil, and that's not a box, is a cage." said Lil, wondering why would Violet put an animal that talks in a cage, thinking is kind of inhumane.
"A CAGE!? YOU PUT ME IN A CAGE! What am I? Your prisoner?" shouted Toromon, angrily, with a look that makes Toromon looks like a steaming turtle.
Suddenly, some girls came in upon hearing the noise, one of them was Violet's worse enemy, Bonnie Colemichel.
Violet and Lil tries to hide Toromon and Palmon, with no success.
"So, what have you got there?" said Bonnie, with a grin on her face, while staring behind Violet and Lil.
"Is nothing, Bonnie." answered Violet, still trying to hides Toromon.
"You know, Violet, pets are not allowed in school." said Bonnie, with another evil grin on her face.
"Please don't tell Bonnie, I'll do anything you want, please just don't tell." said Violet, worrying that Bonnie might tell on them.
Bonnie's grin suddenly grows bigger. "Ok, beg."
Violet, caring only about the others, does as she commands.
"Stop this Bonnie! Or else!" exclaimed Lil, as she looks at poor Violet.
"Or else what!?" said Bonnie, as she glares at Lil with the most vicious look a girl could ever had.
"Nothing." answered Lil, crying.
"That's right, nothing! Well, I had my fun, thanks to Violet." said Lil, as she pushes Violet to the ground.
"That Bonnie will be dead some day!" said Lil, helping Violet up while having the same vicious look as Bonnie had.
"Is ok, I'm all right." said Violet as she stand up.
"Girls can be monsters sometimes." thought Toromon.
Suddenly, our girls hear a explosion coming from outside the school.
"What's that?" Violet asks when she heard the explosion.
She then rushes out of the girl's room, run out of the school and onto the parade square(where students assembled) with Toromon, Lil and Palmon.
