Digimon: X-Warrior Revelation

OOC: Well here we go everyone. I'll post what you have to do at the bottom. The rules with posting in this are about the same as MB. Heck, I'll explain after this is underway.

BIC:
It began slowly, and completly unpredictably. A single Koromon was just randomly deleted. Dismissed as an accident, or a coincidence, no thought was put into it.

Then an Agumon was deleted mysteriously. Then a Greymon, then a MetalGreymon, then A WarGreymon. Digimon everywhere began to get terrified. the only symptom of the myserious virus now spreading through their world was a small red 'X' mark on the nearest point to their Digicore. So, the virus became known as 'X'.

Then, Digimon began to transform. Some evolved an immunity to 'X'. The sign of the evolution, a blue X-mark, the source, a white fractal. The fractal with the coding allowing for 'X-Evolution' became known as the 'X-Antibody'. Desperation for it's power and the urge to survive drove the world to chaos.

No-one was safe from 'X'. The four sovreigns, Xuanwumon, Baihumon, Zhuqiaomon and Azulongmon discovered that. On each of their Digicores they carried, and at the point they held the Digicore that served as their central processor, red 'X's appeared. They knew then something needed to be done. Using the last of their strength, they released new Digivices, the XED, and called on new Digidestined.

In the past, the Digidestined had been called on to save the world from evil. Now, they were being called on to not save the world, but restore it. The Sovreign hoped that the Digidestined could find the source of 'X', and fix the problem. Then, the world would be restored.

The ultimate future now rests on their shoulders...

In his room, a sixteen year old boy rested. His long legs held in front of him, a laptop awkwardly balanced on them, he busily tried to finish the last of his coursework. With a relieved sigh, he hit the save button, and closed it down. Placing it in it's carrying case, and pulling his signature sword and hat rom their shelf, he strolled out of his house.

The wind blew on him, his grey cargo trousers rustling with the breeze. He turned a corner, his brown eyes shaded by the rim of his leather hat, and found the usual green hill he sat on when he was bored. He lay down, and stared at the sky. Above him, thousands upon millions of stars shone, some fading, some brightening. He sat up, took out his black laptop, and opened the screen. He shook his grey jacket back into position, it haing sloped down as he got up. He was about to click the wireless Internet access, when a voice came out from it.

"Sieg? Yo, anyone there?" Sieg was weirded out. Not only was there a mysterious voice on his computer, it knew his name. Taking a chance, he replied.

"Yeah, it's Sieg, I'm here,"

"Good, just where are you? Oh dang, can't see a thing, yo, Gallant, click that, maybe it'll open a window?" the voice was relatively light hearted, however a new voice answered his question. It must be Gallant, Sieg assumed. It's tone was far more calm.

"Calm down Arthur, yes, it will open the window, here we go," Sieg almost leapt back, as a yellow window opened on his computer screen. On it were two faces, one of what he guessed was a giant purple squirrel, and the other that of a small white fox. The squirrel smiled, as Sieg noticed the triangular red gem in it's forehead.

"Heya, I'm Arthur, my friend here is Gallant! We're here to drag you off to the Digital World!" Gallant rolled his eyes, and slammed a tiny white paw over his accomplices mouth.

"Yes, well, I believe your familiar with the term, Digidestined?" Sieg nodded, sitting down cross legged before his computer.

"Good, well, you're one," Sieg tipped his hat.

"You're kidding, right? There haven't been any Digidestined for nearly a decade, why now, and why me?"

"We'll explain once you get here with the others, though once you see our world, you may understand. This is urgent, we can't wait much longer. Please, just come," Sieg lay back and thought about it. Well, he had just emailed his last bt of coursework to the school, his exams hd ended, so he had nothing better to do for ten weeks. He sat up.

"Sure, count me in.But, well I'm hee, and you're there, how do we make it so we're all there?" Arthur's head tilted, while Gallant rubbed the bridge of his nose.

"Just click the 'Enter Digital World' button," Sieg slapped his forehead, to the best of his ability with his hat on. Then something stuck him.

"Hold on, if I'm a Digidestined, why don't I have a Digivice?" The two Digimon looked at each other, and then ducked off screen. They reappeared, with an odd handheld.

The device was about palm sized. It looked like a large blue X, with rounded ends. They was a gray box underneath the X shape, and in the centre of the x was a small screen. Around the screen was nuerous symbols which Sieg couldn't understand. They turned it around, and a circular symbol which resembled a crudely drawn sun was engraved on the back.

"You don't have a Digivice becaue we have it." Arthur replied, smiling. Sieg sighed, and clicked the 'Enter Digiworld' button. A light emitted from his screen, and he was slowly fractilised, each fractal being absorbed into the screen. All that was left of him in this world was his laptop. the first step on his grandest journey had just been taken.

OOC: All you have to do is simply get sent to the Digital World. That's all you post until everyone except MerkelHog has been sent to the Digital World. MerkelHog will be arriving later in the RP.

It was raining hard outside and as always I was quiet in my room working on my computer. Looking through my files, going on the internet and other things. As I looked around I began to delete some of my old useless files that were totally unecessay to me. Well let me just introduce my name first. My name is Alaxander De Torres or just Alex for short. No I'm not your average computer geek, I'm more of a loner who would rather stay in his room with no visitors at all. Well anyway I continued to type on my computer a file just caught my attention. It said Digistiened, how babyish, this must've been the list of the Digimon I used to have in the games I played. I just clicked on it and soon a file of Slifer my first and best digimon appeared. Slifer was in a form of a Botamon a black funny head. Anyway it started bouncing up and down over and over as if it were happy to see me.

"Cute," I commented," But I don't need to keep these old files anymore. I don't even remember downloadin a video file about this, that would just be wierd."

I was about to click delete when all of a sudden Botamon called out my name. I was suprised, this had to be some tirck or birthday card my cousin gave me. Either way I still didn't like it.

"Way Alex! it's me Slifer!" the Botamon cried," Your first digimon!"

"I know who you are I was the one who used you in all of the games I've played," I said," But that was a long time ago."

"Alex listen to me!" Slifer yelled," Our world is in trouble and I need you to come into the Digital World."

"Okay first of all I don't play digimon anymore," I said," Second Goodbye."

"Nooo! wait, wait," Slifer said," How about this one last time to play with your good buddy. You are the best player in this game."

"Well I have to admit it's true," I modestly said ready to click delete again.

"Well what if I said other players are doubting your legendary skills and say you were just a cheap knock off?" Slifer asked.

This insulted me," So there are new kids who want to have a taste of true power? Well fine I'll show them what I can do them."

I moved my cursor to enter the Digital World. I normally expected a cheap music to come out and a vortex to appear. But to my suprise I looked at my hand and saw I was turning digital. What was going on? I wondered. Soon my body was completely digatized and scrambled right into the computer. As I entered my computer a kind of device that I recognized as a Digivice appeared on my wrist, but it looked a bit different. I then noticed I also had a kind of symbol representing darkness...

Hisakata hummed away at the lap top in the dining room, happily, for she had recently purchased the new Digimon game, which read on the back 'an exciting thriller' and 'You'll get trapped in the fun' and other things along those lines. None of Hisakata's friends had bought it though, and acted as it didn't exist. Hisakata was quite afraid, as the Digimon on the front was a Greymon, a Digimon she could still remember from the card game.

"Why does Mum think that I didn't purchase a game, it's right here..." she thought to herself, silently, as the usual sun and fog caussed by pollution passed the window, but that's what happens if you live in Japan. "Might aswell install it" she said, as she inserted the disk into the hard drive, her arm shaking quite a bit. As usual, the engine could be heard from within the laptop, as the disk began to spin. The usual pop-ups acurred, telling her that it was being installed. Instead of a final pop up, it read 'Now entering'.

This frightened Hisakata, and she had no clue what could possibly be happening, but before her eyes, an orange colour like golden syrup, which beamed Hisakata up. "What a sensation" she thought to herself, as pixel by pixel, she turned into what would look like a computer graphic to herself, if she could view herself from outside of this new place she was going to, but she thought everything looked pretty real...

Sitting in the rain, high up on a mountain top, a young James Donnin was grinning - finally, after two weeks of trekking, he had made it up to the top of Mount Dentey; it had been exhausting, but the feel of adventure had been exhilirating, and therefore entirely worth it.

Pulling out his laptop, James began to type furiously, documenting the feel of the wet wind in his hair, the wonder of being able to see for miles around... his long blue shorts - not quite right for the conditions they were in - were soaking wet, so the sixteen year old made sure to document that into his digital diary aswell. Although a boy of nature, James was not so atupid as to not bring any technology with him - there was no internet connection on the mountaintop, however, so it confused him when a small, round, pixelised creature appeared in what seemed like a pop-up on his creen.

"James!" it whispered tenatively. That was strange... James lifted the laptop to make sure he had not left anything under it, that might be making the sound - his laptop didn't have audio capabilities... "James!" insisted the small creature from his screen, not being put off, "I'm your Digimon, L-Leafmon, stop trying to delete me, p-please!"

James stopped clicking the exit button nervously - what the hell was going on here? Digimon? There hadn't been any around for years... what the hell, worth a shot...

"Hello?" the brown-haired teenager asked quietly, "Can you hear me?"

"Y-yep!" cried the digimon happily, "G-good. Now that we can talk, I can explain... y-your a Digidestined, and I'm your Digimon!" James hastily started trying to click Exit again, freaking out. This was not happening... "S-stop that!" said the Digimon, clearly upset, "C-come on... it's not that bad!"

"Go away," said James firmly, wide eyed, "I like adventure, not suicide missions! I heard what the last Digidestined went through! I don't want anything to do with any of you, or that stuff. Shoo! Go on, git!"

The pixelised blob looked upset. "F-fine..." it murmered sadly... I can go if you just click "Enter Digiworld"... then I can leave through the gate..."

The button was clicked before the sentence was finished.

"Sorry," the little blob whispered, "I didn't want to trick you... had to..."

James groaned when he realised his hand was being Digitized, pulled into the computer, and he screamed hastily - he didn't want this! Damn it... A strange device James didn't recognize appeared on his wrist when he was completely emerged in the screen, with a symbol the teenager recoginized as one meaning "Love"on it - great, now he looked like a sissy, aswell as being doomed... still screaming, James hurtled forwards.

It was late at night, and it was pouring rain outside. Michael had just slipped from underneath is warm covers, ruffing up his untidy, brown hair, as he was pretending to be asleep. He rushed to the computer, although quietly, so that his mother would not stir. Sitting at the blank screen, surfing the web, all of a sudden, Michael heard a scratching sound coming from his second-floor, bedroom window. Opening it ever so slightly, he noticed it was just a branch, and walked back to his computer.

But, when Michael arrived at his screen for the second time that night, he saw something strange emerging from the screen. It was an electronic device, the likes of which Michael had never seen before. Landing on his lap, he picked it up. On the front was a large 'X'. He turned it over, to find a drawing in green, of a rain drop, which had a small circle within. Michael recognized this as a sign on sincerity. Looking back up at the screen, he saw a figure appearing. It was small, and shadowed.

"Come, Michael, come. I need you, we need you, please!" came a small, timid voice from Michael's computer.

"Who, I mean, what, wait, who are you?!" Michael replied. The figure had disappeared, and a large button digitalized. The device which has earlier come out of his computer's screen, was now glowing, as was Michael. He started to panic, and ran away from his computer, towards his bedroom door. he felt a jerk from the back of him, and the last he saw was his messy bed, surrounded by the glow coming off of his computer, which he was now being dragged into.

Rrrrring! The sound of the bell signified an end to the school day. All the students in the classroom were beginning to leave, all talking excitedly or worriedly.
"That biology test was tough," one student commented to her friend. "After that whole thing on DNA, my mind blanked out on the cumulative review--maybe it was the stupid matching of all those A's, T's, U's, G's and C's and proteins for a half-hour..."
"After that you didn't even remember what photosynthesis is?" the friend joked.
In a flurry of remarks similar to these, Ari started towards the door without talking much, except thinking about the test the class just took.
Interesting... Ari thought as she started to leave school and head back home, when an error causes a modification in a strand of DNA, a mutation occurs and things run differently. Likewise, when a virus or something alters the programming of a computer, it could eventually lead to a modification in memory or even a crash.

Perhaps it was just the fact that Ari was attached to the computer, or maybe it was something on that computer that she kept going back to... Whatever the reason, that was where she went the second she got home. She was even too enthusiastic to note her mother's casual "Hi".

The first thing Ari did was go onto her laptop--she ws finally glad to have a computer to herself rather than share it with Gon and her parents. Right away, though, she noticed a peculiar email. It seemed simple with its message...
"Open attachment and meet in front of waterfall in park at 5."
What's this? Ari asked the email. It sounds like a robot wrote this email... Hey, maybe it was a Datamon... nah, even he has that one humanish eye... OK, maybe it was a ToyAgumon or... OK, what's in this attachment?
Checking to make sure the anti-virus program was running, Ari took a deep breath and opened the attachment. Then she started to panic--the screen turned black. Yet, a second later, it turned bright purple, then a blinding white. And within a few more seconds, the white light shrank and formed into a ball, leaving the regular computer screen behind it. This ball shot right out of the screen and hovered above Ari's hand, and finally it materialized into what looked like a small white blob with little eyes and feet.
"Mirru!" chirped the little creature.
Wow, what's this--a Digimon? Ari wondered, smiling a bit. But why now? Gon got his Digimon because there was unrest in the Digital World... unless there is another type of unrest, this is a true mystery...

Then Ari thought of the rest of the message--the meeting place in the park.
Probably has something to do with this Digimon, Ari figured. Then she began to shut down her computer, but the second she touched the attached mouse, it morphed into what looked similar to an organizer and a cell phone.
What... huh, how did I get a new cell phone... maybe I... wait a minute, this looks like this Digivice Gon has--yeah, this makes sense, because I heard they're highly useful on Digimon journeys and are necessary for Digivolution.
Ari then looked at the screen--it was black, except for one word in bright green letters:
"Milkymon". Then the computer shut down.
"Milkymon, huh?" Ari said to the Digimon. "So that's your name... Well, I don't know about you, but I'm kind of excited to see what our mission in the Digital World is."
I can't believe it--this must make me the next Digidestined... The feeling was sudden yet wonderful.

Ari pocketed the digivice--then with Milkymon in one hand and the laptop in the other, Ari proceeded to leave the house again.
"Hey, Ari!" It was her dad. "You're leaving--already? You never told us how school went or anything, or what... hey, what's that?" Then Dad noticed the small Digimon in Ari's hand. But unlike most parents he didn't freak out, as he already had a son with a Digimon more worthy of freaking out over.
"Say, is that another one of those Digimon?" Dad asked enthusiastically.
"Did someone say Digimon?" called Ari's mom, running over to see what was going on. Then she saw Milkymon and looked overjoyed about it.
"Oh, this is wonderful!" Mom commented. "Gon told me all about his adventures in the Digital World--apparently it was a very exciting place. He really ws a hero, he helped save the Digital World and everything! And now it'll be you who has that chance--perhaps it runs in the family!"
"Um..." Dad wondered. "Miko, don't you think her Digimon's a little, um... on the small side? I mean, normally I would think of Digimon as big, brave, and valiant--so I wonder if the two of them would even survive out there..."
"Aww, and I saw Gon's Skitomon when he was just a baby, you remember," Mom replied. "He was that little fly thing... Maybe this little cutie is in that same baby form."
"Heh, yeah, of course," Dad realized.
"Well then, Ari," Mom shifted her attention, "don't you worry, that little Digimon of yours will grow, and as will your experiences."
"Indeed," Dad added, "the power of your Digimon combined with your sharpness and intuition should really do the trick."
"Still," Mom continued, "we hope you'll come out okay. We'll await the day when you return in all your glory." At this statement Ari began to feel embarrassed.
"Um, bye then," Ari said as she headed out the door.

It didn't take too long to find the small waterfall in the park--it ended in a pool full of lilypads and reflections of trees above... Anyways, when Ari leaned closer to this gurgling pool, Milkymon jumped off her hand and landed on a lilypad. Ari giggled to herself.
"You know, I really should give you a nickname, since your Digimon name will change as you grow... how about Saishime?"
Saishime blinked and smiled a little--probably meant yes.
"So now, Saishime, what do you suppose we..."

"Puruu!" It was a voice, but not a faraway one. Ari spun around--there, sitting under a tree, was a little pink Digimon with leaves on its head and feet. Snow like that which you see as TV interference flashed across its body--it was from this that Ari knew the thing was another Digimon.
"Another one!" Ari exclaimed. After this, she noticed a beep coming from her pocket. Her Digivice showed a picture of the Digimon, its name, and its attack.
"Sproutmon..." Ari then kneeled down to pat the Digimon on the head, but as she did so, she felt a strange feeling, almost like a premonition but more of a sight into the true soul... really strange. Yet this inspired something in Ari--a name for the Digimon.
"I shall name you... Namura..." At this point Ari was in a sort of daze.

Ari picked up Namura and placed her on a lilypad next to Saishime.
So now I have two Digimon... Now THAT is peculiar. I thought the Digidestined only had one Digimon...but oh well, perhaps--who was it--Ophanimon... will explain everything. Or at least she did so to my brother. Note to self: Look for an elegant-looking angel Digimon, obviously a Mega, holding a sort of javelin. But then, Gon got off to a weird start on his quest, so I don't know what will happen to me... yet in the meantime, I guess I can take this opportunity to see the Digital World for myself, rather than hearing about it secondhand from Gon. Speaking of which, maybe this Digivice has an emailing feature where I can tell Gon about this... Ha, I bet he and Skitomon would be surprised!

The minute Ari thought of the Digital World, an image of it appeared in the water instead of the trees' reflection. It was an area at the base of a mountain.
Now there was a glow coming from the digivice. There was one message on its screen:
"D-Port Open."
Though she was unsure of what to do next, Ari stared at the Digivice, then got an idea. She held it out, letting its screen face the image in the water... and withing second, she and the two Digimon were headed off to that area next to the mountain...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OOC: Hope that was OK with getting the Digivice... as most tamers/Digidestined received their Digivices before they even got to the Digital World.
Shinigami...
“Digivolve! Come on!”
The young teen yelled to her lap top’s screen, intent on making the small digital figure on her screen to digivolve to its next level, thus making it stronger and more likely to win in a battle. She had spent the last three days straight playing on the computer game and the rookie Digimon still had yet to evolve to its next level. The normally calm and fun loving teen was getting a little frustrated with her beloved little Digimon.
She snorted and saved the game before clicking exit on the screen. Only this time, the screen did not shrink and disappear. Instead the little Digimon on the screen grew to be more realistic so that it stood out on the screen.
Tory’s thin brow rose a few inches on her forehead and she tried clicking the ‘X’ on her computer screen one more time. Nothing happened and the Digimon chuckled childishly before waving at her through the screen.
Tory was not impressed. She began to worry and in her frantic attempt to try and get away from the screen she fell from the chair and knocked her head on the table that was located behind her. Though it was not a fatal blow, it was enough to make her vision blur and her head ache terribly.
Before she knew it, she was engulfed with a bright light and sent hurtling through the computer screen. To her great surprise the screen did not shatter and instead she watched as complicated equations and number passed before her eyes.
She was scarred, uncertain of what to do. So she closed her eyes and hoped for the best at the end of this confusing journey through into the Digital world.
The Public Library
"Well? Are you going borrow that book?"
The boy looked up. The librarian was a strict and fussy woman, not to mention impatient. She tapped her fingers against the desk impatiently.
“Well? If you’re not then give me that book back, Cynthia had been telling me about all those horrible things you do to the books you have at home! Orphan!”
The boy sighed. It was always Cynthia, making up lies and treating him like filth. It was Cynthia who ripped up the books saying his fingers will contaminate them. He wished he was never born sometimes, being stuck with his horrible spiteful aunt who hated him.
“Well? Timothy Carson, give me the book if you’re not going to borrow it, NOW!”
“Yes Madame, here’s my library card. I’ll like to borrow this book,” replied Tim cheerfully.
The people in the library looked up at Tim; he was always such a kind cheerful and polite boy, pity he had to live with rag-bag Cynthia. That librarian was one of Cynthia’s best friends; spiteful, lying and vile. It was a simple wonder how the boy lived his everyday life.
The librarian hissed and snatched the card and the book. She unhappily allowed Tim to borrow the book, although how much she hated it. Tim continued to smile kindly. The boy was optimistic and she HATED optimistic boys. Plus he was an orphan, a filthy orphan, vile things. The librarian handed back the book. Tim smiled yet again and headed out of the library saying, “Thank you Madame” The librarian hissed angrily while the people around her laughed silently. Tim always brought smiles to people’s faces.
As soon as Tim exited the library, his cheerful smile diminished into a sad one. Tears fell from his face. He hated being reminded he was an orphan. He never knew his parents, his father died before he was born as his mother died during child birth. He spent his life never even knowing his mother’s face. His uncle, Cynthia’s husband, his mother’s brother, said his mother was a beautiful lady, before he died as well due to mysterious circumstances. Cynthia blamed Tim for his death, saying his rotten orphan presence killed him. Tim looked at his book. He smiled as he wiped his tears. He shouldn’t have cried, he should have looked to the brighter side of life and be more hopeful and happy for what he had. The book was a guide to Creative Writing, one of his favourite guide books. Tim loved reading and writing but he had to keep to a secret as Cynthia discouraged any thing Tim could have a possible interest to.
“So orphan? What are you reading now? A guide to how to get parents?” Tim turned around. There stood a large burly teenager, fifteen to be precise, with his brawny arms on his hips. His eyes had a malicious glint to them but lacked intelligence nor compassion. Behind Dirk was also another two teenagers, very much like him; burly and bullying but lacking of kindness.
“Hello Rip, what do you want,” said Tim cheerfully. Being twelve, there was big size different between him and Dirk and his cronies. Dirk then grabbed Tim’s shirt and hissed at him.
“I want ya out of this town, give me ya money and ya won’t have ta suffer,” hissed Dirk. His cronies jeered as well. Dirk smiled and said, “Sorry, unfortunately I don’t any money for you”
Dirk growled and punched Tim in the stomach. Tim groaned in pain as he felt the wind go out of him. Dirk nodded. “Get da money then let’s get out of here” Dirk’s cronies hurriedly searched his pockets and found what they wanted. Then they ran.
Tim groaned. Somebody was next to him telling him to wake up. Tim tried to open his eyes. He was used to Dirk and his cronies; it always hurt. Tim opened his eyes. Tim gathered himself and realised something. He had left his Library Card at the Library’s Computer Lab. He sighed as he walked back to the library. Tim opened the door of the Computer Lab and spotted his card by Computer Number # 5. He picked the card up and was about to leave when the Computer started to flash brilliantly. He stared at the Computer screen as a strange computer file formed. Then the flashing stopped. Tim was bewildered. What had just happened? To find out, he timidly opened the file up. The file opened up and there on the screen were the most peculiar creatures.
There, in front of him, was a small brown rabbit like creature with three small miniature horns on his heads, with brown hazel eyes and most of all, long over sized ears, with a look of concern on his face peering at him only inches from his face. Next to the Rabbit-creature was another creature that resembled a rabbit. This one was a brilliant orange colour with bright blue eyes filled with playfulness and concern. He had two wing-like ears and his underbelly was white. Tim stared in shock while the Brown Rabbit Creature sighed in relief.
“Boy I’m happy to see you! I was getting worried!” said the creature happily.
“Yeah! Finally we get a move on!” sang the orange rabbit creature.
Tim’s baby blue eyes stared again for a moment. Then he screamed uncharacteristically. The creatures also screamed and jumped backwards. Then Tim stopped screaming and stuttered something in disbelief. The creature, who had also stopped screaming, then opened his mouth.
“That was scary! Why were you screaming? You scared me right then!”
Tim stared some more then shook his head in disbelief.
“Rabbits and computer files can’t talk, I must be hallucinating. That blow from Dirk must have hurt my head,” muttered Tim. The Brown Rabbit Creature apparently heard what Tim said because he started to laugh wildly.
“So that what you’re so surprised of! Us being able to talk!” laughed the creature.
“Lopmon, have you ever thought may be he never heard of Digimon?” sighed the orange creature
Tim stared at the creaturea. The Rabbit-look alike then gasped.
“Don’t tell me you don’t know what I am!”
Tim, who was still recovering from his shock, shook his head.
“If I did, I won’t be gaping at you”
The creature looked offended. “I’m Lopmon, a Digimon. This is my friend Patamon, also a Digimon. Don’t tell me you don’t know what a Digimon is!”
Tim shook his head once again. It was Patamon and Lopmon’s turn to gape at Tim.
“Digimon! You know... do have to explain all of this to you? My job is never easy; someone always has to make it hard. Oh well, I better explain things to you then. Great, I have to give you a History lesson!”
“Lopmon, please be more polite, not everyone had heard of Digimon,” Patamon sighed.
Tim now got over the fact that two so called “Digimon” were actually talking to him, if something was talking to him, then he must have a reason to be able to talk, Tim wasn’t a doubter. “So what are Digimon?” asked Tim.
Lopmon glanced at a nearby clock. “We’re running out of time, I bet on my ears that if we are VERY late. The other DigiDestined are already there, going without us!”
“What are the DigiDestined Lopmon?” asked Tim naively.
Lopmon turned around and said, “Call me Cono, that’s what most people call me,”
“Answer me Lopmon!”
“Oh Lopmon, I’ll do it,” sighed Patamon yet again. “A deletion program is deleting all of the Digimon in the Digital World. We don’t know how and what this program works or is; all we know is that some Digimon have developed an Antibody Program which gives them immunity against the Deletion Program. Now there is chaos in our world to gain the Antibody and survive. The Sovereigns, the guardians of the Digital World in a way, sent for a group of selected human children and their partnered Digimon to locate the origin of the Deletion Program and destroy it and save the world”
Tim still had more questions as he processed the information he received so far.
“Okay, so you’re saying I have to save some Digital World from deleting itself? You guys seem kind enough, I’ll trust you and I agree in helping you guys save the world, if that’s possible. How do we get to the Digital World?” he asked.
“Get DigiVice out. Then point it at the computer monitor. That’s how we get to the Digital World. We got to get there fast!”
“But I don’t have a DigiVice, nor do I know what it is!” Tim cried.
“Then what’s that in your hand?”
Tim paused and looked at his hand. There, mysteriously was a strange looking light yellow device with an ‘X’ on the front. He turned it over and on the other side was a drawing of strange light yellow symbol. The top half of it was a sun shape with five small triangles coming out of it while the bottom half was a truncated triangle with a jaggered base.
Tim blinked. How did that get there?
“Good, now you have one, oh and it’s the Hope one as well! How nice. Now could you please point it at the computer monitor?” asked Patamon sincerely.
Tim glanced at the two Rabbit-like Digimon, before slowly raising the device.
“I just hope that I am not making a bad decision,” said Tim and he pointed the light yellow-tinged device at the window.
Then it happened.
A fluorescent blue light burst from the computer screen, enveloping the twelve year old boy. Tim, tried to say something before he could open his mouth, he was sucked into the monitor. Every colour he could name flashed before his eyes as he felt himself flying through a dreamlike world of brilliant lights and data streams. That was the last thing he remembered before he closed his eyes as a bright light, enveloped him.
Sapphire entered her room after a day of school. She dumped her bag on the floor and jumped into bed. She was in pure bliss. The last day of school was over and hello summer holidays! Immediately, she took a shower and changed into her favorite clothes. She then quickly whipped out her laptop and started signing in to MSN. The holidays were going to be good.
One unread e-mail
Sapphire quickly checked her inbox for a mail. Apparently, it was anonymous. She sighed but checked the e-mail.
Dear Sapphire,
We are two Digimon living in the Digital World, I expect you know nothing about us. We have been asked to find a Human as our Digidestined and we finally found the perfect one, you. When you finish reading this e-mail, you shall find yourself in the Digital World, along with a Digivice. We will meet you there.
Sapphire felt strange and slowly became unconscious. Sucked into a black hole in her computer, the journey to the Digital World began…
THUD!
Sapphire awoke with a jerk. She had arrived in the Digital World. Next to her was a pink colored Digivice and she quickly grabbed it. Pocketing the device, she then decided to explore the village she was in.
OOC: Sorry for lateness.
OOC: Technically you were just meant to be warped there, I had decided a location for us to arrive. No matter though, I'll manage it.
BIC: In the Digital World, two figures stood, both staring at the sky, though one was laid back on the cottony grass, and the other was pacing back and forth, his arms crossed behind his back.
"Listen Jack, you sure this is where the Sovreign told us to wait?" the one who was pacing back and forth asked. He wore a pointed wizrds hat that was tatty, with a skull symbol on the front. Most of his face was hidden by his blue cloak, and he looked very humanoid.
"Yep, right before X got 'em," the one in the grass was significantly taller than the one pacing. He was also very differant. He wore a silver helmet with three horns extending from it, and his eyes were a deep green, compared to the blue of the other's. His skin, the little that could be seen, was black. he wore thick black armour, varying from shoulderguards with large spikes sticking out of them, to large, clawed gauntlets. On his back was a split shield, and he wore silver shinguards and a silver chestplate alongside his black armour. The other one sighed. Even the Sovreign weren't safe from X. What chance did he, a mere Wizardmon, stand? The large one looked to him, and seemed to read his mind.
"There's still time y'know,"
"I know, but our jobs come first. The Ssu-Ling Sovreign sent us, and if I can help these digidestined stop X, even if I gte dleeted I can do so in peace,"
"You're one of a kind Merlin, you really are," the BlackWarGreymon called Jack looked up, and his pupils dilated, before he grabbed the short wizard and jumped out of the way, just as seven kids all landed in the spot he had been lying on.
"Looks like we have guests Merlin,"
"Yes we do, but unfortunatly, if what the Sovreign told you was correct, their should be ten of them, I only count seven," while Merlin proceeded to examine the humans, Jack tapped the side of his helmet with his right gauntlet. Before his eyes a number of menus appeared. he mentally scrolled through each one at atime, eventually finding a map. On it, nine dots flashed. One was far off in a village, one was over by a mountain, and the remaining seven were right in front of his location, represented by a triangle.
"Yo, Merlin, the other two seem to have been seperated from the main group. I can't find the tenth on my scanner though, so I don't think he's here yet," he tapped his helmet again, and the menus disappeared.
By this time, all the Digidestined who had arrived were up. Sieg felt a weird heaviness in his pocket. he put his hand in, and pulled out the Digivice Gallant and Arthur had showed him. That reminded him, where were those two? He was mildly surprised to be standing before a short wizard in yellow trousers, and a tall anthropomorphic dragon in armour.
"Naturally, you're all confused. Well, hopefully you're partners should have explained it to you when you first met them. If not, feel free to ask me on a later point. Before you ask, I am Merlin the Wizardmon, and my friend over there is Jack, the BlackWarGreymon," the tall humanoid figure waved in a rather embarrassed manner.
"Yeah, as Merlin was saying, I'm Jack, and welcome to hell, sorry, the Digital World. I'll be short and sweet. This world is slowly being destroyed by a thing called 'X', a virus, and you've been called on to find and stop it. Some of you will know this, some won't. You should all now have your Digivice. Myself and Merlin are your guides here, Merlin, you take the rest, I have to find this lot's partners," the BlackWarGreymon walked off.
"Well, yeah, my partner covered most of this, so, just sit down, and wait to receive your Digimon. Jack downloaded them to the Internet so they could find you, but the site where he dd so is..."
"I'm back," Jack arrived, accompanied by a large number of Digimon. They all went to their appropriate partners, as Merlin and Jack both nodded to each other.
"Okay then, now that's sorted, I have to cut straight to business. I'm afraid there's no dilly dallying or shilly shallying for us. This world's dying, and we need to get to work fast. Two of the group have been seperated from this main group, so we have to find them. Half of us are going with Jack, the other half with myself," he scanned the group, deciding who best to go with the others.
"Right, there's seven of us here, and since Jack's stronger, we'll go in one group of three and one group of four. Courage, Friendship, Sincerity and Kindness, you're with me, Darkness, Love and Hope, you go with Jack," Wizardmon began going one way, and Jack the other. The Digidestined meanwhile just stood dumbstruck.
"Sorry, I forgot you don't know your crests. Sieg, Tory, Mikey and Hisakata, you come with me to find Hikari. Alexander, James and Tim, you're going with Jack to find Ari. Don't ask how I know your names, I just do, now we have to be fast," Wizardmon and BlackWarGreymon headed off in a quick stride, while the appropriate Digidestined followed them.
Sieg was having trouble keeping up. One minute he's doing coursework, now he's been dragged into something that involves him saving a world...from ,as far as he could tell, itself. Arthur and Gallant both smiled at him when they arrived. He sighed, and looked around the various people here. It was quite the rag tag group, Digimon and people included.
He didn't mind the fact they were being thrown straight into the work. He couldn't stand dilly dallying. Once Merlin finally addressed him by his actual name, which did surprise him no end, but after everything else didn't phase him. He figured the intros would have to wait, and hurried after Wizardmon.
OOC: This is where the RP finally gets less strict. Basically here's what you do for now:-
Everyone except Kiruria and PQL: Mention your reactions on Merlin and Jack, and everything that has happened.
Kiruria and PQL: Just continue with what you're doing now.
Feel free to start interacting with other RPers, and getting to know your Digimon.
We'll continue plotwise when I feel the moment is appropriate. As in we actually meet with Ari and Hikari depending on group I placed you in. On the way, expect twists.
