Who else watches digimon?
Yamato-san said:there's something I've never understood about English dubbing. In America, and several other English-speaking countries in most cases, quite a few anime are screwed with, companies thinking they'll "be more suitable for the local child demographic" and crap. Meanwhile, in almost every other part of the world, shows like Digimon, Shaman King, Dragon Ball Z/GT, and several others retain their original script, original background music, don't make unnecessary changes, keep in several (if not all) instances of violence, etc. Don't know why you other countries have companies that're so faithful to the original work, but I'm pretty envious nontheless. Doesn't matter much to me anymore, since I've seen a friggin ton of Digimon in Japanese (way more than Mahou and TreeckoKnight87 combined, judging from all they've claimed to have seen), but I must say, if my country had more faithful dubbers like you guys, I would've been able to hear that lovely score a helluva lot earlier than I did (Digimon has one of my favorite anime soundtracks).
