Every 10 years, a great man. Who pays the bill?
So listen. I created a couple social groups that, as far as I could tell, did not break any rules, did not contain any bad content, etc, and disappeared as if they were deleted. Now, this has happened before. At least the one time that I actually did break the rules I got a nice PM saying exactly what I did wrong.

Did someone delete said groups, or is there something wrong with the server or something like that?

I really doubt there's anything wrong with the server. I'm usually the one that deletes them and I don't have time to PM every single person and tell them what's wrong.

They either get deleted because they break the Social Group Rules OR they haven't been posted in for a month or more. If it's a new group, check the rules because it probably broke them. If it's an older group it probably wasn't active for long enough.
