Hi all. We have had reports of member's signatures being edited to include malicious content. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and we can find no indication that the forums themselves have been compromised.
However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar logins on multiple sites, people and even bots may be able to access your account.
We always recommend using unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication if possible. Make sure you are secure. -

I have to agree with Kauser... it's not much of a sprite if you just erase it's face and add 2 dots and a smile. And the gengar looks corrupt.

Dude, all you did was just make a smiling face on it with no eye balls. That's even lazier then recoloring, and that is saying a lot.

Heh, I'll actually surprise everybody and say that I like them. At least you've got an original idea and it's executed pretty well, even if it's simple. I don't rate sprites by how long it took to make them.
You might not want to make the mouths so dotted, though, and get rid of those two pixels in the corners of Gengar's mouth.

The idea is just to take away the face and replace it with a line tool face. aybe there is a reason nobody did it, huh? Just because nobody did it doesn't mean it's good in the sprite world.

But that's where you are missing it, the lack of quality. It's the SAME SPRITE just minus a face and replaced with a cheaply made one. It's not a new sprite at all, it's the exact same one!
Think about it like this, someone buys a copy of the Mona Lisa and paints over the face. Then he uses a pen to draw a smilely face on it, is it a new painting? No.

But the thing is it isn't an edit. Is recolor an edit? No, because all you did was change the color.
My advice though, if you want to do it, would to at least make the sprites in a new pose to make it look more like a transformation then just the face. And I don't mean just changing the color.
