@CyberBlastoise: Interesting character, especially his history. It's a bit out there, but eh, plausible enough. Accepted. And sure, meeting up with his old Pokemon should be fine. Any reason Valen doesn't have a last name?

To those waiting on spots: I'm gonna wait until the first deadline (the 24th) to see if any spots open up. I'll notify the three who've posted in here if they do. Otherwise, I've got a few others picked out, but I will probably start up the game when all the original slots are filled.

Cyber Robert

Shockingly Lovely
It's because he needs not a last name, Team Plasma only needs to fear his first name! MWHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!..*crickets*.....Okay, fine, I didn't think of a good name yet. hehe...

Finally done. And in the end, I'm now glad I have Thundurus instead of Tornadus XD If Stin could control wind, she could pretty much fulfill her dream and decide not to take part in this whole ordeal and just... guh. It'd be difficult.

So, here goes:

Name: Kierstin Nieves (but goes by Stin)
Age: 19
Gender: Female (I've played so many males lately, it's time for a change. Somewhat.)
Link: Thundurus, male
Item: Razor Claw
Description: Stin stands slightly taller than an average female of her age, reaching the height of five feet and about seven inches. She has a strong figure and especially her legs are quite muscular, though by no means overly so; she isn't a overly muscled, but all the mountain climbing and exploring has notably strengthened her. That, her sometimes crude demeanor and overall appearance leave some mistaking her for a male when viewed from afar or from behind. This doesn't particularly bother her, though it's not like she'd try to hide her sex on purpose. From the front, said mistake is a bit less common to occur, since, though her breasts aren't that big, they're still there and her clothes are tight.

She has short, chestnut brown hair that is, in a word, quite a mess; from the top of her head to the short forelocks on her forehead, it sticks out in every single direction imaginable. Though generally short and away from her face, her locks are slightly longer on the right side of her forehead, and a few misplaced strands sometimes fall in her field of vision.

And, speaking of vision, she has a sharp one. Her eyes are grey, but in no way dull; they're very light in color, and shine witch excitement almost perpetually. Her eyes are a bit bigger than average, or at least they appear so, since they're always fully opened and looking for any signs of adventure. She often has a playful grin decorating her face, though frowns when things get boring aren't an uncommon sight, either.

She wears a dark green baseball cap with wing patterns on both sides, fitted snugly atop her messy hair, the visor sometimes hiding part of her face from sight. Such is a rare occurrence, though; more likely than not, she wants to be seen and noticed.

For clothing, she prefers comfortable pieces of garment that are easy to move around in. Dresses and anything that would cover her calves are out of the question for her, as are skirts that would prove it difficult to jump and climb as she pleases. So, her favorite choices as far as pants go are shorts of variety of materials and designs. She especially likes loose, camouflage pattered shorts reaching halfway down her thigh, or tight jean shorts, covering her thghs only slightly. Right now, she's experimenting with a mixture of both; short, camouflage pattered jeans a bit more on the tight side. She also has a dark brown belt, with various tools and small pouches carrying the strangest of souvenirs hanging all around it.

On her legs she wears black hiker's boots, showing various visible signs of their owner's endeavors. They're worn, but since they're still sturdy, Stin doesn't see the need to buy new ones.

She wears an orange halterneck, which covers her chest all the way up to her neck. The strap is short and thick, wrapped directly around her neck, covering half of it and offering some protection from sharp branches and the like that might scratch her on her rather reckless adventures. The cloth is skin tight and reaches slightly above her bellybutton.

Her arms are completely exposed from shoulders to wrists, and so they carry many cuts and bruises from various sources. Only her palms are covered in dark brown, fingerless gloves with a hole revealing some of the back of her hand.

She doesn't carry bags, as she finds them inconvenient. Everything she needs either hangs from the aforementioned belt or is stuffed in the huge pockets of her jeans. Her Pokédex is also in one of those pockets. The pendant she received is embedded on a bracelet she wears on her left wrist.

Personality: Stin is a rather… difficult and erratic person, to put it simply. She is very cheerful and talkative, and very willing to spend excessive amounts of time discussing things that interest her, such as sharing tales of her journeys and listening to others do the same. However, if the subject at hand doesn't interest her, she isn't one to pretend it does. She's quick to try and change the subject or even physically leave in the middle of someone's sentence if they don't take the hint. She needs to constantly be entertained, and she abhors boredom.

If she finds someone interesting, she will be very friendly and even help them out every now and then if the task isn't too menacing. However, she isn't loyal; should she find something else, something shiny and new and seemingly more entertaining, she is quick to switch her attention over there instead. And seeing how she likes change and new faces, things like that happen often. But, if she remembers you with fondness, she can return later as if nothing has happened.

She doesn't like calm, collected people and voices this fact out loud. She also doesn't like quiet people, ones that would rather go along with others than speak their mind. And, once she has labeled you as 'boring', dealing with her will become a lot more difficult. She has no patience to speak to anyone she doesn't like, and if you don't shout loud enough, she may very well ignore you had said anything at all. She can be downright mean and rude to such people, though she doesn't do it on purpose. She doesn't realize how spiteful she can come across, it's just that people who're slow (in any definition of the word) wear her out and make her feel anxious.

She's highly curious and has a tendency to not be able to sit still. She wants things to do, and she wants them right away. And that is actually a very crucial part of her personality; what she wants, she has to get. She can be incredibly selfish, and doesn't stop to think that maybe others have needs too, ones that differ from hers. It's all about her, though that, too, is something she doesn't realize. She doesn't mean to hurt anyone, but her bold attitude often does so.

She likes Pokémon, but only certain ones. Birds and other flying beings she loves, while ground types and ones that look 'boring' or 'slow' gain no attention from her, just like with humans.

She's carefree, and the troubles of others don't affect her. Very few things can make her worry, and those are often related to the lack of things to do, suppression of her freedom or, as she is claustrophobic, closed places. She even hates to be indoors, though even she realizes that sometimes it's necessary. Her discomfort when inside, however, shows; if the place is small enough she starts to sweat and move a bit crouched, as if to get further away from the walls and ceiling that threaten to crush her. She's meaner, simply because she's afraid, and even shows signs of pure fear, something that is very rare for her. Ordinary danger doesn't faze her, quite the contrary; the bigger the risk, the greater the adventure, is what she thinks.

She doesn't like work, unless there is something big in it for her. Same goes for doing favors; if she gets something she likes in return, she's all for it. Otherwise, you might as well be asking help from a deaf Cubone.

She's extremely stubborn, and once she has gotten an idea in her head, she will follow through regardless of what the people around her think. The only one that can change her mind is she, herself, if she finds something more fun. And this happens often; she's very spontaneous and longtime plans just don't flow with her. She also needs to see results right away, not in three years. Otherwise, there's no point and it's all just a big waste of time for her.

She doesn't have anything personal against Team Plasma or their leader. All she wants is to be able to leave the region. If it weren't for that one restriction and the fact that bringing such a powerful leader down sounds extremely interesting, she might actually be one to root for Ghetsis. After all, she finds him, his ideals and the workings of the group interesting, since they're so out of the norm and affect so many things. That, and she's still grateful for them for pretty much allowing her escape from home all those years ago.

History: Stin was born in Violet City, Johto. Even as a child, she was a very curious girl, always sneaking out to explore everything the nearby area had to offer; the Sprout tower, the dark cave on the outskirts of the city, the Ruins of Alph… she had to see them all, much to her parents' dismay. Their little girl alone, among the bloodsucking Zubat? In the ruins that were rumored to host the possibly dangerous Unown somewhere deep within? Naturally they couldn't allow that.

But no matter how many times young Stin was grounded, yelled at and explained how she should just play Pokémon trainer with the other local kids rather than wander off alone, she didn't stop her escapades. Or, rather, she couldn't stop. The world was huge and humans had limited life spans, how could she wait until she was a grown up? Why would she wait, when the world was out there for her right now?

Tired, worried and out of ideas that didn't include actually harming their daughter to instill some discipline, Stin's parents decided to settle on a very different approach. She could go, but she had to have a Pokémon companion with her, at all times. She reluctantly agreed, thinking that having a protector with her spoiled the fun, but maybe it was better than not being able to go at all. Plus, maybe she could somehow make it fun. She dreamed of a majestic Pidgeot to soar the skies with.

She received a Chikorita for her sixth birthday, and instantly her face fell. A Chikorita? A boring, earthbound Pokémon with small, stumpy legs? When they lived in a city of flying Pokémon? No, if she had to have a companion she wanted a bird, something with wings to support it, something she could watch flying off in the distance and maybe even fly with, when the Pokémon was older.

Pouting, she accepted the Pokémon anyway to appease her parents, and continued her adventures around the town with it. However, without realizing nor meaning to, she didn't treat the Pokémon quite right, still disappointed in its typing and limitations. She ran off from the Pokémon constantly, knowing it couldn't keep up if she planned her routes well enough to include climbing and more difficult terrain. She didn't help if it got into battles, not because she would have willed it harm, but because she was just too busy and focused on her own fun to pay her companion's needs any heed.

Her parents were not pleased. They yelled at their daughter for mistreating a creature so loyal it would even try to climb the mountains after her, and decided that if she could not care for another living being enough to make sure it didn't return home bruised every day, she wasn’t a worthy trainer. Not now, not ever, and so they handed the small Pokémon over to a traveling trainer, who agreed to take good care of it from now on. Stin, angered, stamped her parents as big meanies for not catering to her needs, and when she was quite literally locked inside the house for a while to prevent her from running off and hurting herself in her anger, she threw a tantrum never seen before. She kicked and punched the walls, screamed and demanded freedom. She would not be locked inside like this when she had yet to explore the deepest parts of the Ruins of Alph.

Her parents, not knowing what to do, finally decided that maybe a change of pace was in order. They would move over to Unova, and make sure to find a town so small and boring she simply would not be able to live out her fantasies of adventure. A town, somewhere far from everything interesting. Stin's objections were not heeded, and so the whole family moved.

However, it had been mere months since they had arrived when they realized that everything wasn't quite right. This speech of releasing Pokémon, the ban on travel in and out of the region, something was up and they were worried. This Team Plasma, as they called themselves, didn't seem like people anyone should be around.

So, naturally, Stin was interested in them. She was ten, and her curiosity had but grown over the years. Ghetsis had already ruled the region for a year, and everything had changed from what it was when they had first come. The place had become more interesting and for that, Stin was quite grateful to the big leader up there, pulling the strings of change.

But the excitement wasn't enough for her yet. Having Pokémon was forbidden? In that case, she would try and befriend one. The thrill of trying not to get caught was just so tempting! So, despite her parents' best efforts to try and keep her from going anywhere, they were eventually shocked as their twelve year old girl presented them with a young Pidove, who she had been playing with in the forest for years now.

Her parents had had it. They forced the young Pokémon from the girl's arms and threw it back in the woods, before dragging their daughter inside and, with heavy hearts, locked her in her room again, this time sealing the window and not allowing her to walk in the rest of the house without one of them constantly keeping an eye on her. It was difficult for them, they knew how much their daughter loved wilderness and freedom, but they saw no other choice. It was this or getting their daughter in trouble with the law, possibly leading to her being taken away to Arceus knows where. They loved their daughter far too much to let that happen.

Stin was going crazy over her captivity, however. She tried her best to get out, even forcing herself past her parents through means such as kicking, biting and scratching, but they always managed to subdue her before she could get too far. She was sure she couldn't handle another week inside, when salvation came to her in the form of a Team Plasma grunt. The team had decided to do their routine check up on the houses to see if anyone had Pokémon, and so, everyone was told to get outside while their house was searched.

Needless to say what Stin did the second she got to breathe fresh air; she screamed that there were a lot of Pokémon inside the house, that her parents even sold the creatures to those that would buy them and ran off when her parents were seized for questioning.

She ran and ran and didn't stop until she was so far in the woods she couldn't make out anything but trees and a few Pokémon looking curiously down at her, a strange rover in their territory. She breathed heavily and straightened, looking around at the wilderness for the first time in such a long time and smiled. And it wasn't long after that her earlier companion rejoined her; the same large-eyed Pidove she had befriended in the past. It had been waiting for her.

Stin was thirteen, free and finally had a companion she deemed worthy, one that would one day take her to the skies above on its back. She was ready now, determined to explore the region. And so she set off, only to find herself sitting lazily on a café at Black city years later, now nineteen years of age. She had explored it all. Seen every place she could go in Unova. And now, the team she had once viewed as saviors and sources of great fun and interesting change had become her worst enemies; Suppressors of fun and freedom. Due to them, she couldn't travel the region quite as freely, and there were some places near the borders she wasn't allowed to. Not to mention the ban on travel abroad. There were so many other regions, so many other Pokémon she just had to see! And the "no-Pokémon law"? Sure, it had saved her in the past but now? How could she ever fly on her companion's back with such a stupid rule in effect?

It was right in the middle of such thoughts that she received a parcel and, after having quickly skimmed through its contents, set out once again with curiosity visible in her entire form like never before. Somewhere up in the skies, a Tranquill followed far behind and sighed.

Other: Nothing I wouldn't have already mentioned. I, err, think?

Pokémon

Species: Tranquill

Gender: Male

Nickname: Sigi

Personality: When he was a Pidove he shared much of the same childish curiosity as his trained did, but come age and wisdom, he calmed down quite a lot. He still gets interested in things easily – though in a more reserved manner – and is ready to follow Stin wherever it is she might want to go, but it's more because he likes his friend and doesn't mind adventure, rather than because he'd need to see every place in the world. He is very wise, having gained experience and knowledge of various things on their travels. When Stin was exploring caverns and the like, Sigi was discussing current matters with the locals.

Sometimes, if Stin's personality and stubbornness gets her in too much trouble, Sigi tries to be the voice of reason for her. Suggest another approach, or a route less dangerous. Sometimes his advice is even heeded, though oftentimes not, and Sigi knows not to nag too much. He doesn't want his friend to start thinking of him as an old, boring bookworm, after all.

Sigi is also the one who often has to clean up after the mess his companion leaves; apologize to Pokémon she might have insulted, pick up things she knocked over when rushing past and so on. Since Stin hasn't seen her parents ever since she ran off, Sigi has, over time, found himself playing the role of her guardian and parent more and more. It amuses him; their ages aren't that much apart, after all.

He is very protective over his friend, but knows where to draw the line. And luckily for him, he isn't that much of a worrier type; he would have died of stress by now. Sure, he tries to keep Stin out of extreme and imminent danger, but he also trusts that she can handle most things on her own. They also spend a lot of time apart, both doing their own things and reuniting every now and then to travel and have fun. Such a setting doesn't leave room for worrywarts, as Stin would put it.

Other: The Razor Claw Stin received hangs as a necklace around Sigi's neck.

EDIT:

Thundurus
Gender: male
Personality: Thundurus loves to have a good time, doubly so if there’s lots of noise. He finds destruction of human-made structures amusing, as well as anybody but him getting hurt. When he gets hurt, he’ll raise a fuss disproportionate to the severity or become enraged. He likes hanging out with Tornadus, but is intimidated by Landorus.

@GoldenHouou: So, you're going to give someone who gets easily bored and annoyed with 'slow' people the ability to call down bolts of lightning? Ah man, that is both hilarious and a great temptation pitfall. Excellent sign-up, Approved. It's weird, but as I read through Stin's SU, I kept thinking of the female Backpacker NPCs. Except without the backpack.

All right, but congrats on your promotion!

My sign-up for Virizion is almost done, just finishing up. It should be done fairly soon, so just hold on to it for a little while please?

DucksGoMooful

Evergreen tail?
So here it is, let's hope it's good.

Name: Aaron Kodora

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Link: Virizion, Male

Item: Black Belt

------------------------------

Description:

Aaron stands at about 6 feet tall, and is built slightly muscular from taking lots of hikes in Pinwheel Forest and the surrounding area, which is close to his hometown of Nacrene City. He has short brown hair, which he doesn’t do anything to at all. He has pale blue eyes that are the color of a storm. His skin is tanned from being in the sun.

Aaron usually likes to wear a blue and white jacket, often zipped only halfway or not at all, with a pocket on either side of the division. He also has a wardrobe at his house of some regular blue jeans, most of which are scuffed up near the heels from constantly being trodden on. He owns only two pairs of shoes. One pair is used only for formal gatherings such as weddings and such, so he rarely uses them. The other pair is a dark grey, with lighter grey laces which have white patches on them for decoration.

He wears his Virizion pendant around his neck on a gold chain. The green pearl is circled by very small gems of a lighter shade of emerald, and the bamboo surrounding the pearl is perfectly formed, as well as sturdy, so it won’t break.

Personality:

Aaron is a fairly like-able person. Having lived in a nature-loving kind of community, he has a deep appreciation for nature and would never purposely harm a living thing unless circumstances demanded it. He often takes long walks in the nearby Pinwheel Forest to get closer to nature. This personality of not harming living things also transfers to fellow humans. His friends are the most important part of his life, and if anything were to happen to them, he would try his best to avenge their suffering. He is very passionate in this, with regards to both Pokémon and fellow humans.

Aaron is someone who likes knowledge. When in a regular setting, he tries his best to communicate with the surrounding people, and learn more about them. He also is usually polite to others. He doesn't handle conflict well, and when faced with an argument, he will defend his position until the other person wish they had never challenged him. He is just as often wrong as he is right, which makes him a little bit shy of afterwards.

History:

Aaron was born and raised in Nacrene City of the Unova Region with his mom and his dad. When he was 4, his dad caught him a Sewaddle in the nearby Pinwheel Forest, and the two became instant friends. The next year, Team Plasma announced their campaign to release all Pokémon, and most of the people in the city obliged. However, Aaron couldn't part with his beloved Sewaddle, and kept him secretly. Sewaddle stayed in the Forest most of the time, and whenever Aaron came to the Forest on his hikes, he visited her. Since this was mostly every day, they still retained their friendship. After 5 uneventful years under Ghetsis' tyranny, Aaron's Sewaddle evolved into a Swadloon.

His father works as a construction worker, so he is away from home most of the year. His mother had worked in the nearby Pokémon Center until Ghetsis began his reign, then after that, she worked as a seamstress in one of the local shops. As a result, he and his mom are very close.

Other:

Nothing that I can think of right now, so…nothing.

------------------------------

Pokémon

Species: Swadloon

Gender: Female

Nickname: Harp

Personality: Aaron’s Swadloon has a similar personality as Aaron. She too wants to protect her friends at all costs. She also has a deep devotion to Aaron, and when he comes to visit her, she runs right up to him and jumps into his waiting arms. She isn’t much of a battler, since no one else really battles anymore, but several encounters with wild Pokémon in the forest have left her with some strength. She also knows almost every inch of Pinwheel Forest, so when Aaron gets lost, she can help him get back outside the Forest.

Other: Swadloon’s moves are Protect, Razor Leaf, and Bug Bite.

Virizion

Gender: Male

Personality: Virizion thinks loyalty to your friends is the highest virtue and he lives this belief. He is careful in choosing his friends (especially among humans), but will come to their aide immediately. He does treat strangers and acquaintances in a friendly and kind manner, but makes a clear distinction between them and true friends. Beyond that, he has a strong moral core

THE!MID!NIGHT!BEAST!
Name: Lai Ming

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Link: Victini (Female)

Item: Soothe Bell

Description: Lai is short and thin, standing at exactly 5ft with quite a muscular build. Her large, round eyes that are always sparkling with excitementare almost the same colour as her short, spiky hair-a dark, rich chocolate-brown. Her face has quite a child-like appearance in general, with a cute little button nose, a slightly round face and a bright, wide smile stretched across her face, revealing her teeth-a set of pearly white gnashers that would almost be a perfect set if it weren't for her crooked incisors.

Lai also has a habit of sticking out her tongue and pulling down the bottom of her eye. If you look carefully, you'll see the sides and the tip of her tongue are slightly jagged, and she'll explain that her teeth, along with her nails, are so sharp she always cuts accidently cuts herself on them. They don't call her 'Dog Teeth' for nothing (And when they say that, they're talking about her nails).

Because her appearance is so child-like, she could easily pass for a boy, what with the short hair and lack of any feminine features. She has been mistaken for a 'young lad' on more than one occasion, which Lai doesn't seem to mind at all, but the more popular situation is the 'lost child', where strangers come up to her and ask if she's lost and searching for her parents. At this point, it's best to back away before Dog Teeth explodes.

Clothes-wise, Lai doesn't really put much thought into what she throws in the morning-as long as it smells alright, everything's just fine. Her attire usually consists of distressed/frayed/ripped denim shorts that are so big on her that they hit her knees, with a big, baggy t-shirt that has some form of a witty logo or catchphrase on it, such as 'I rove rice'. She also has one of her older brothers' hoodies in her neon green rucksack in case it suddenly gets cold. She wears big, boxy trainers on her feet in flashy neon colours, such as orange, red, purple or green, but usually red.

Lai isn't really into fashion or make-up or anything else that requires a sell-by date before it 'goes out of fashion' or whatever the hell it is. But ever since she received the package from Tao, she felt compelled to wear the pendant that had been enclosed along with the instructions amongst other things. But how? A necklace would probably cause the end of her by strangling her. A bracelet would probably fall off. An anklet no better. But a ring. Something that Lai would always know was there, an eternal circle that could not be broken. She got the local blacksmith to fix two rings together and then fix the 'v' shaped pendant on them, so the two sides of the pendant would be on one finger each. However, when Lai had requested her order, she thought she would be able to do the 'peace' sign with the pendant. But she thought wrong. So, instead of swearing at everybody, for her 'ranger' pose (As she calls it after having briefly met a Pokemon ranger at some point), she simply makes the peace sign but turns it to the side and does a salute.

Personality: Lai is life itself-unexpected, insane and the worst or best thing that's ever happened to you, depending on the situation. She is constantly hyperactive, exploding all over the place with energy, like a child on a sugar rush. Makes sense, seeing as she is just like a child, and not just appearance wise- she is stubborn, rash, shameless, obnoxious, easily angered, hot-headed, reckless, impatient, fun-loving, always laughing and always enthusiastic and vocal about anything-be it eating cake ("YAYAY I LOVE CAKE!"), not getting enough sleep ("RAAAGEEE!!! I'M SO TIRED!!!) or just having nice weather ("IT'S SO SUNNY TODAY!!!!"). She just can't help but be vocal about what she's currently thinking or feeling, which is why it doesn't take a genius to work out what Lai's like. Lai acknowledges this comparison by referring to herself as 'just a kid'.

However, because Lai is so childish, she is also a bit naive. When Team Plasma first began preaching about Pokemon being tortured by being kept in Pokeballs and all that rubbish, Lai, being the naive idiot, fell for their plan immediately, and was one of the first to let her Pokemon go. But it's just who she is, and doesn't regret doing it. She'll do anything to make her friends, family or Pokemon happy, and hates to see them sad. And that was one of the things she felt she had to do to make her Pokemon happy-to let them truly live their lives the way Pokemon should, roaming the lands freely.

Lai also isn't very sensitive, and doesn't have many solutions for people's problems, seeing as 'Just smile~!' doesn't always work. She's sweeter than a cherry on top of a cake, but she's never serious, so there's no point in listening anyway. She gets bored easily, and when she does, tends to cause havoc, chaos and trouble, and it doesn't help that she's quite clumsy. Lai also isn't a very good liar, but that doesn't even matter, since Lai always announces whatever she's done, as some form of an accomplishment. For example;

You: "Who took all the teabags?! I'd been saving them for years, I had them flown in from Johto years ago!"

Lai: "Me! I did! I threw them into the river 'cause I wanted to see if the water would turn green!"

You: "..."

Lai can also actually be scarily aggressive and viscious, using her full extent of her Pokemon training and rock-hard muscles for an actual fight, but it's usually for defensive motives, such as protecting friends and family or being threatened by someone obviously powerful. However, on other occasions, a light nip or swipe across the face usually gives strangers the message to p!ss off. (Sorry if you don't like swearing, just let me know so I know not to.)

History: Lai was born and raised by her parents in Nuvema Town in the Unova region with her four older brothers who had already left home long ago. A small-town girl, if you will. So, add that to her stupididity and naivity, you get one conned idiot. When she was 10 years old, she got a starter Pokemon from Professor Juniper and went on her Pokemon journey and all that jazz. This was around the time when Team Plasma first began campaigning for Pokemon freedom by giving speeches in cities.

Guess who just happened to stumble into the city when Team Plasma happened to be passing through?

It had been around roughly a year after she'd been on her Pokemon journey. Lai had battled a few gym leaders, but nothing too serious, since she wasn't intent on challenging the Pokemon League. She just wanted a team of Pokemon that would be like family (Not that her family wasn't already big enough). After training for a year, these Pokemon were quite strong.

So, just as Lai had been passing through Accumula Town on her way back to visit Nuvema, she noticed a group of people. Very oddly dressed people, like they were knights from the Middle Ages, with chainmail and..skirts. Even the guys. Lai began laughing straight away.

That was, until they opened their mouths.

Their leader, some white haired dude wearing a huge crown...on his shoulders, began to go on about how Pokemon were different from humans. They had unknown potential, but since we humans were so selfish and wished to keep them under our control for our own selfish wants, not needs, we would never know. If we truly wanted our Pokemon to be equals, we would set them free.

After this, Lai thought deeply. She loved her Pokemon, but...she wanted them to be happy. And that might've meant letting them go. After all, if you love something, doesn't it come back?

Correct. Except...not this time. Lai's Pokemon loved her just as much as she loved them, but...they couldn't resist being with their own kind. Out in the wild. Where they belonged. No Pokeballs. No being forced to fight. Just eternal peace and serenity.

Ever single one of her Pokemon left. At first they were reluctant, and wanted to come back, but the temptation got to them. Lai had never felt more depressed in life. What a foolish mistake she had made! Nobody else had released their Pokemon, what was to be expected?! And now they were all gone. Each and every one of them.

And now, passing back through Route 1, Lai heard a rustling noise behind her, and froze. Since she had no Pokemon, she was no longer protected. Completely open and vulnerable to any form of Pokemon attack. If she wanted to, she could easily knock it out, but that would be completely against of the morals of what she had just done! It was pointless!

And then, out of a rustling bush, appeared a lone Scraggy. It seemed lost, confused, panicked and...sad?

Lai knew how it felt.

Without even needing a Pokeball, it was as if they had read each other's minds. The feeling was mutual. They were in a crisis, and needed each other.

Their bond was indestructable. So strong, that Scraggy didn't even need a Pokeball. He just followed Lai wherever she went. Simple as that. It made no difference when Pokeballs were banned.

Other: Hai~ ^.^

Pokemon
Species: Scraggy

Gender: Male

Nickname: Chickuhn (Known to Lai as 'CHICKUHHHHNNNN!!!')

Personality: Chickuhn is what can be called 'the land form of Slowpoke', what with being incredibly dim and not very intelligent. It does have the potential to be a devastatingly powerful Pokemon, but is just too...moronic. And not to mention lazy. However, it is very loyal to Lai, and has a surprisingly strong bond with her. Why surprisingly? Well, to her, Chickuhn just seems to be a stuffed toy to carry around everywhere. The only time Chickuhn is ever seen nowadays is when he's been dragged along by Lai, floating just off the ground and clutching Lai's hand, like a tiny child holding on to a helium filled balloon. However, it seems that Chickuhn doesn't seem to mind this treatment. He probably even likes it, being carried around all the time. Probably why he's a bit on the podgy side.

Lai also has a lot of other pet names for Chickuhn, usually along the lines of 'dumbass' and 'retard', but it all just seems to go in one ear and out the other. She loves him a ton really, but it's a shocker the Pokemon's not deaf by now, what with Lai not being able to turn her volume button down.

Species: Victini

Gender: Female

Personality: Victini is highly sociable, friendly, and enthusiastic. She wants people to do their best and will encourage them however she can. As she prefers to be whimsical, she doesn’t fit in well with serious situations and can annoy people in that manner. She will keep herself tidy, but will jump into any situation (messy, dangerous, or otherwise) to help someone else. Whether that person wants it or not.

@ducksgomooful: Fairly simple, but good. Although this 'In the rare cases where people get him very riled up, he will defend his position and wish the person had never doubted or challenged him' is pretty unclear. I'm guessing you mean he'll make the person wish s/he hadn't doubted him, or maybe he just doesn't do well when faced with conflict. Other than that bit, there's nothing really troublesome, so Aaron is Accepted. But I would like that part cleared up for when I come back to check on the SUs, as I do periodically.

@GoldenrodGirl: I really like Lai; she's going to be a fun addition. I especially like that she was one of the first to follow Plasma's directions and came to regret it. Accepted.

and hey, the best teas can get really expensive.

@kuriboh361: Sure, you've got Tornadus.

General Notice: Well given that that leaves just one free slot and I know there's been others waiting for a chance, I am adding three more legends to the cast. They would be: Heatran, Deoxys, and Latios.

Why not Latias? Because she has very specific requirements and affects Latios' chosen, probably more than Reshiram and Zekrom. I decided I would just play as her chosen.

And added a bit to the rules that this game will be rated PG-13.

Name: Marec "Mareep" Golen

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Link: Latios (M)

Item: Metronome

------------------------------

Description: Marec has an average build, partially contributed to his short lived career as a trainer and his travels within the region. His silvery, gray hair is often pulled back in a loose ponytail, accenting the green of his eyes. Tanned skin sets him apart from his peers.

Clothingwise, he tends to keep it rather simple. Blue or black jeans, a pair of green and black running shoes and a gray shirt, the collar of which is white.
Whether he wears a jacket or not depends on the climate/weather. Oftentimes he can be seen with a simple brown jacket slung over his shoulder.

As far as his pendant goes, it came embedded into a metal, watchline band. The emerald of the stone pendant is a glossy green, embedded within a shining blue and white wing shape.

Personality: Marec is an idividual crafted from his expeiriences. He often tries to help others out, to gain their trust and show that he cares. While being a somewhat trusting individual, he's wary of giving people second chances, making it hard to gain his trust back once it's been lost. It is this part of his personally that helps make him one of the most loyal people one could possibly meet.

When confronted about his past however, he locks up. He refuses to talk about it outside of small details and often doesn't show much emotion in relation to the past. Instead, he prefers to but his past behind him and move forwards towards he future. The only people who can get him to talk about his past are those who he considers the best of friends. Most people would think this was extreme, though he himself sees it as just another way of coping with life.

History: Born in Sinnoh, Marec was raised by his mother and father as well as his older sister. When he was ten, he was given a Totodile by his sister, who'd been given one while she was traveling in Johto. The two then decided that they would journey together throughout the region of Unova.

Two years into their journey, Team Plasma finally suceeded in taking over the region. Refusing to give up his Pokemon, Marec and his sister had to watch as all buttheir starters, who'd refused to leave after being released, were taken away from them. Returning to the house they'd bought when they moved to the region, the two decided to take up jobs at the Pokemon Center, which had been converted to a hospital; Marec in the Pokemon Market and his sister as staff in the hospital.

Five years later, Marec's sister disappeared in the middle of the night, leaving him by himself. Two weeks later, she was discovered dead within Twist Mountain. As a result, the house was taken away and he was rendered homeless. Struggling to take care of himself and their two Pokemon, he spent the next few yeas living with a friend and being a partime student.

Two years ago, he quit his job and moved to Striatonwhere he took up a job in a café, the sight of the old gym. Due to his status as a worker there, his bosses left him live in a flat about the café. It is within this building that he recieved Tao's package.

Pokemon

Species: Totodile

Gender: Female

Nickname: Mist

Personality: The opposite of Marec, Mist wears her heart on her sleeve. She always let's you know how she's feeling, both good and bad, in contrast to Macren's refusal to show his negative emotions. Trained for battle, she does battle in the routes surrounding the town when the two go for walks together.

Other: Is the only one on his team as Marec left his sister's starter, a Chimchar, with his friend back in Mistraltron.

Species: Latios

Gender: Male

Personality: Latios could be called a big brother to any young creature. He might playfully tease others he knows, but he will turn fiercely protective if his young friend (or Latias) is threatened. He loves flying about at high speeds, but also loves to sit on ocean-side cliff tops and take in the scenery. He almost never complains. Even if he gets injured, he’ll still try to protect others.

Species: Deerling

Gender: Female

Nickname: Deerla

Personality: Deerla is a rather quiet Pokemon, having an intense fear of abandonment. Although often appearing shy, she is a determined type who struggles hard to prove herself.

If there's anything else that you'd like me to add, I don't mind changing it to make it better. Is there anything else you think needs changing?

@ducksgomooful: I think it's okay for now. Aaron seems like a regular normal guy you could meet in real life. If you really want to expand on him, check out the Character Questionnaire thread and consider other personality details, like what he's afraid of; I tend to include at least one fear in all my characters.

@Jason-kun: There's some typo mistakes in there, so you might want to look at cleaning those up. Otherwise, it's pretty good. I think his personality could use some work; it works all right, but like with ducksgomooful, I think it could be better. The issue that is keeping me from accepting this, though, is a bit in the History. Why did Team Plamsa allow Marec and his sister to keep their starters? They wouldn't do that. It could be a case of the two Pokemon were released, but were loyal enough to stick with them, as many other Pokemon have done. Pending that fix.

@Jason-kun: All right, then Marec is Accepted now.

And here's your load... I mean, partner!

Name: Megan Carolina ‘Meg’ Calloway
Age: 5
Gender: female
Link: Latias, female
Item: Shell Bell

Description: Being your ordinary five-year-old girl, Meg is about three and a half feet tall and in healthy shape. She has thick black hair that is usually kept in pigtails, which reach past her shoulders. She has black eyes and brown skin, which turns darker the more time she spends in the sun. Her clothing is usually t-shirts and jeans, and she particularly likes the colors orange and yellow. As she is active and not particularly girly, her pigtail holders are simple, or with small marbles attached.

The wing-shaped pendant is on a pink wristband on her left arm.

Personality: Meg is a curious little girl who is seemingly fascinated with everything. She wants to know things and will ask questions incessantly. While she is intelligent, she’s only at a first-grade level and thus can’t comprehend everything. She is very imaginative and is a total drama queen about it, dancing about happy things and acting like anything potentially sad is completely tragic. Occasionally she will throw a tantrum, but the degree she does depends on how easily the person with her gives in.

As she is adventurous and likes to explore, she’ll agree to come see anything new. She isn’t afraid of much and won’t realize that something might hurt if she slips up. She is afraid of Team Plasma, particularly the uniform and Ghetsis (and his cape), and will quickly turn quiet and cling to a person she trusts when they’re around. Other than Plasma members, she loves meeting new people and is quite friendly. She loves her parents and has total faith in them, although it was weird that they missed her last birthday…

History: Meg is Cheren’s daughter. Being that he fought against Team Plasma several times before Ghetsis came to power, Cheren faced persecution under the new government. He managed to evade capture for a long time, even getting married when he was nineteen. But six months ago, he and his wife were captured and taken away somewhere. While the Pokemon they had were forcibly released, his starter Pokemon managed to follow after Meg in order to protect her, on Cheren’s request. Meg was placed in Maria’s Kids, an orphanage in Castelia City. She’s still pretty confident that her Mom and Dad are going to come back for her. She has just turned five.

Pokemon

Species: Samurott
Gender: male
Nickname: Storm
Personality: He is loyal, proud, and stubborn. He doesn’t get along too well with strangers, particularly those that might threaten his Trainer or Meg. But when around the people he loves, he is like a completely different Pokemon: gentle and affectionate. He will follow someone he’s protecting anywhere. He does not like being messy, though.
Other: Storm is very well-trained and experienced. He knows Surf and Waterfall already. Since he’s not supposed to be in the city, Storm stays near the docks.

Latias

Gender: female
Personality: Latias is a playful and bubbly Pokemon, whether skimming over the ocean waves or soaring high in the sky. She adores Latios as her big brother and anyone who is like him. From his example, she is protective of friends and weak Pokemon, but she aims more to heal their wounds and lift their sadness than fight for them. She’s not always attentive to her surroundings, though.

Go figure.
Name: Rebecca(Becka) Lynn
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Link: Deoxys, Male
Item: Destiny Knot
Description:
Rebecca has deep blue eyes and light brown hair, which she usually wears to her shoulders. She's really beautiful, but has no time for romance. Becka is 5'9" and weighs 125 pounds. She likes to wear comfortable clothing, usually a denim skirt, a yellow shirt with a pink peace sign on it, and black and white converses. Becka prefers not to wear makeup. She ALWAYS wears the star earings on her ears 24/7.

Personality:
Rebecca is very modest. She doesn't like being touched, and hates people. Socializing isn't her best quality. Becka is quite smart. She likes to overanalyze situations and go to the "worst-case-scenario". Rebecca's grown up to fast, and has been through a lot. Her parents were killed in a strange car accident... The car was hit with a meteorite and flew off a cliff. Since then, she has taken care of her two younger sisters.

History:
Becka is 17. She was born in Nimbasa City. Her parents died in a car accident on the Skyarrow Bridge when Rebecca was 13. She has two sisters, Maya(14) and Kelsey(10). She lives with her grandparents in Nimbasa City, and lives a stressful life. Rebecca studies space, and makes money off of discovering new things. Around the age of 6, Becka wanted to visit the Hoenn space station so bad that they took a family vacation there. When they got to Mossdeep City, she met up with this strange man named Steven. He was in his old age and took her to his house. Steven opened his closet and showed Rebecca his Beldum. Beldum took interest in Rebecca and followed her home. Her parents weren't to happy, but they couldn't say no. When the cruel Team Plasma man took over Unova, her growing Metang evolved into a Metagross which made it quite hard to hide. Becka had to hide Metagross in their garage, and kept it locked at all times. She visits it regularly.

Then the strange letter and star earings fell from the stars and into Rebecca's palm. She read the letter and knew that something good was going to come out of it eventually. When Becka grasped the star earings and put them on her ears... She had a vision of someone battling the Team Plasma king and winning...

Pokemon –
Species: Metagross
Gender: N/A
Nickname: None
Personality:
Will protect Becka at all cost. It is quite adamant. Metagross is very obedient to Rebecca, and will do anything she requests. Metagross will transport Becka anywhere she need to go by lifting up it's legs and floating off. It will only carry people Rebecca approves of.
Other:
Known moves:
Meteor Mash
Earthquake
Zen Headbutt
Explosion

Edit: Wait! Can I have Metagross, or would that be too... err? And it's not a Unovan pokemon... Yay. -_-

@Asterveil: I would rather have Unova Pokemon, but I'd be okay with a non-native if the rest of the SU is good. Anyhow... taking the History parts out of Personality, that section is really short and one-dimensional angsty-loner. She may be quiet due to that, but if Deoxys is hoping for a friend, she's a pretty bad choice. And in Appearance 'She's really beautiful, but has no time for romance' doesn't really tell us much because people have differing views of beauty. And you did notice that you have to touch a Pokemon with the pendant to befriend it, right? Earrings would make that tricky.

The History section... well if she studies space, she might know about Deoxys having arrived with a meteorite, so it seems strange that she'd accept a link to him when a meteorite killed her parents. And on the timing of the games, I doubt Steven would have been an old man then. Plus, if there's going to be any revelation about what happened ten or so years ago, I'm going to handle it. Rejected.
