Yup, battle scene backgrounds by me... well, everything by me except for the text box, which came from the RSE battle scenes. I'll add more soon (water's edge, snow trail, factory, forest, etc.)

Desert Template

The haunted house template might be used during times like this, with halloween around the corner. It's quite nice!

Erm, I hate to be harsh, but I'm not too fond... The spiders/beetles? on the ground on the Haunted Mansion one look strange, like the floor's a wall and you're seeing them from above.

The desert one has only two types of items, cacti (?) and tumbleweed, that both were copy-pasted many times... The Rock one looks better, but the lumps in the circles where the Pokémon/Trainers/etc. stand look funny.

Well, end of my rant. They still are nice, especially for scratches! Keep it up!

THanks all for your posts... yeah the Haunted House is great for this time of year, and it's probably my favorite too.

@ Libie: Yeah the cactus is the same copied over, and so is the tumbleweed... nice that you noticed, and I understand how copy/pasting can ruin the quality of the scene...
however, I don't get what you're saying about the haunted house... you're saying it looks like a wall, so if you have any suggestions on fixing that, I'll take it. And I'll edit up the trainer stand for the cave scene for you... I'll also edit the desert one
And dont be afraid to criticize me... I noticed you were when you used words/phrases like "Erm" and "hate to be harsh" ^_^

Your haunted house one is kinda strange, since in the pokemon games, there are no animals that aren't pokemon. Also, the shading on the tumbleweed is bad. Nice idea, but Kyledove thought of it first. xP

I think that the haunted house would be better if you removed the bugs and spiders. but overall, the backgrounds are good.

no, I actually sprited the ghost prior to making the battle scene:

and I guess the spiders on the floor do kind of give it the bird's-eye view look... I should edit them up, or just take them out... but I do believe the spiders on the wall look fine.

And there are animals in pokemon... at least, there are to me, so I don't consider it that strange (but that's an entirely different topic)

I've been caught up in schoolwork today, and I didnt get to edit any or make any new ones yet... but fear not, as I'll come up with some more to show to yall :D
