I have been wondering this for a while: do we,as pokemon-fans, have any influence on the pokemon animé? Or do the animé staff(s) just what they want? And if you could change anything, what would that be? Do you think they have to make they show more like the fans want it?

Yes. There's been several polls collecting data about the viewers' thoughts and opinions on various aspects of the show, and we also have very specific things like Sonansu's return in XY after being absent for BW that definitely happened because the fanbase was very vocal about wanting it back. They want people to like the show, so of course they try to gauge what people respond positively to.

That's the fanbase as a whole, of course, not your personal opinions, no matter how loud you are. And the opinions of any random non-Japanese fans are of course largely irrelevant, but that should go without saying.
