Gardevoir isn't necessarily wearing a dress, I consider it a robe. See? Unisexual.

You're the first person I've met who thinks that way. However, you obviously haven't seen any of the fan art about Gardevoir. ;_; IT CANNOT BE UNSEEN. ;;___;;

I generally don't care about my pokémon's genders, except for the one's I'm planning to raise carefully. In that case, the gender matters because of the nicknames I like to give them.

I care about the genders because I breed pokemon. Other than that, I don't really care one way or another.

Cheese for everyone!
For the most part, I don't care. If I have a name planned before I have the Pokémon, I want it to be a specific gender.

Like, most people on here, I only really care if the pokemon looks more masculine/feminine... It'd be weird to have, say, a male gardevoir or female machamp...

That being said, I'm convinced my game's male to female ratio is completely out of kilter... Most of the pokemon I catch or breed tend to be females (my starter, for example, was a female)...

Edit: Oh, and I only transfer female DW pokemon!

Fall Apart.
I try to get pokemon you could only get once on pokemon black (e.x. Starters, Fossils) to be female so I can breed them in hope for a shiny so I kinda do care. But I think it's good to have a team mixed with males and females. 3 each to be fair.

When I was younger I just wanted female Pokemon on my team XD (I even wanted my starter to be a girl, but mostly he was well a he XD)

For now it can be either XD I like to see how my team would turn out. Looks like this time in my Black game they are almost all female except for Samurott and Crustle XD

Also for DW I'd like all female, unless I see one that I REALLY want.

I do care about the sex of my pokemon. Because I need male pokemon for chain breeding moves+females to get the exact species I'm looking for.

My final team will most likely contain a solid mix of both gender.

When it comes to DW pokemon I usually go for females only.

I agree with what alot of people said, it all depends on the pokemon. I mean a male gothita? ick, imo.

Whilst i'm not bothered about my Pokémons gender is per say, I always insist on having a male starter, then half of my team being male and half being female. Is that odd?

If it looks male or even slightly feminine, I want it male. Otherwise it'll be a female.

I don't really care unless I see a Pokemon that could easily Attract the opponent, then use other status moves.

Back when I was a sexist little kid, I only caught males. I still do it out of habit. I do train females if their looks are feminine enough though (My Yanmega is female, and I might train a female Gardevoir).

I don't do it intentionally but most of the time my team ends up being totally male. Maybe this is because of the male dominance in the games or because of my ignorance. Last time I got a female was in HG(I think) where I caught a shiny Gyarados.
Due to my team being mostly male, they are all prone to attract from same(female) Pokemon. I mean if one female Pokemon keep using Attract and I keep on switching then it would most likely finish Attract PP.
