Do you care if you get a hacked(AR) pokemon traded to you over wifi?

What are you talking about? We had the Pokemon Tour, the Wii tour, the DS tour and the Nintendo Connection Tour. About the event Pokemon, Nintendo Australia tried to get them but America was using the machine at the time. Nintendo Australia promised they would hold another event when they got hold of the event Pokemon machine thing.

Since hacked pokemon DO NOT mess up your game in any way, I'm fine with them. For example, any pokemon that I can't get (event pokemon, Pal Park transfer only pokemon, etc), then I'll take it hacked.

And if this disqualifies me from tourneys (the event people might read my game as a hacked one), I don't care. Those tourneys are filled with EV trainers and whatnot who have no clue what Pokemon's about. *coughmyfriend9voltcough*

Hell, I already have an Aruseus, Manaphy, and Deoxys, and the Regis, thanks to a couple hackers I know. =P

I think it'll be harder for Nintendo to disqualy people with Diamond and Pearl when it comes to hacked Pokemon I'm afraid. With GTS there's a chance you could recieve one and it'll probably spread. Nintendo should at least start finding a way to block it but I seriously doubt they can.


I prefer legit Pokemon more. I really don't want hacked ones.

I'll take them, but only for the rare ones i can't get. And when I get my hands on the English one, I probably won't. I won't have to trade so many Pokemon anyway because of Pal Park.

A machine..? I went to one of those events, one in England (I'm glad I was staying with relatives at the time...), and it was just a GBA cartridge, nothing special. I think that Nintendo must have more than one of them...

Hmm... I'm not really sure.

I've been against even hacking event pokemon (in the 3rd generation) because it lowers the value of being at the actual event and working to get them. And who knows? You may be lucky enough to get one from some guy you meet in a line.

But for this generation, I don't think it matters that the pokemon was hacked into the game for trading, because either way, I'm not catching it myself. But I don't want one with illegal stats and such. Maybe just for egg moves and natures.

Yes, I hate cheating and I would probably restart my game, just incase anything weird would happen. I'm that paranoid.
