Do you compare Mewtwo & Amber/Ai to Shadow & Maria?

Mewtwo is an all powerful pokemon and Shadow the Hedgehog is a ultament lifeform(I guass), but they both had a mysteris girl in there memories you know that so is it true that Mewtwo and Amber is just like Shadow & Maria?

Shadow the Hedgehog and Maria from Sonic Adventure 2. So you had to play that game or watch the anime and watch the uncut birth of mew to understand the topic.

I guess Shadow and Mewtwo could be compared, and their girl counterparts, however Ai and Amber are very different and can't really be compared besides being "the girl" with the clone/creation.
