Do you have your own "spin" on the rules?

hello, i was just wondering, does anyone have their own "spin" on the rules?

i do,

1) i dont use the energy cards
2) i dont do the prize cards thing
3) i play with my bench faced up.

that is how i do it, and that is the ways my friends do it too.


yes yes, i cheat, but I hope i am not the only one...

We will once in a very long while change a ruling that was made to make things more fun for everyone, but we don't do anything drastic like what you said. If you do all those things, its hardly even Pokemon at all...

You know that's a normal rule, right?
No energy and no prizes? I would have quite some fun if I used those rules. It would just rely on who had the most expensive cards, not on stratagy. A deck with 60 basic EXs = almost auto win.
And if you play without prizes, wouldn't that make it a "who decks out first" game?

i basicly play a "whos deck runs out firs" game. i never got the wole "prize cards" thing.

anyway, the decks are picked at random (i dont know if that is a rule)
