Now that its October and getting close to Halloween, I thought it would be a good time to talk about spooky things.

I like reading or listening to paranormal stories. I am fascinated by the unexplained and the unknown. Not just ghosts, but strange creatures that lurk in the dark. Weird phenomena that we can't explain like UFO sightings.

I don't necessarily believe in everything. I mean, are there really cryptic creatures lurking in the woods at night? I doubt it, but such stories still fascinate me.

Do you also enjoy paranormal stories? And does anyone know of any paranormal or creepy urban legend stories?

A local urban legend for me is the story of the Blue Eyed Six. I won't get into their story but local legend says that if you drive up to Moonshine Church where their victim is buried you will sometimes encounter six sets of blue eyes floating along the road or in the cemetery. If you go into the woods around midnight you are likely to get lost and not be able to find the church again. They say if you do find the church again that there will be a pentagram on the backdoor and if you look inside you will see ghosts walking around. People also claim that they experience car troubles while in the area. This ranges from your car stalling if you go speeding by to your car not restarting if you stop to explore.

I know that Gettysburg National Military Park is considered one of the most haunted places in the US.

One time I clicked on serebii forums to read about Pokemon and there was a spooky thread about creepypasta. I went in there and started reading but out of nowhere Joe added so many ads to the website, but they weren't normal ads... they had REALISTIC BLOOD and when you adblocked them they SCREAMED DEMONICALLY!

And then I went to go post in the thread... but it said I had to wait 666 more seconds to post so like any grown ass man would do, I got scared and left. I called my uncle who works for Nintendo in IT but he didnt answer since he was in Mexico. Welp, let's try with another account. I tried to shitpost on PAD on my alt and I got banned but there was a ban picture and it had a REAL HUMAN SKELETON and it had REAL EYES that followed me in the room so I've been terrified ever since. Anyway, now that I'm back on my main, everything seems normal again, I'm just posting from my cellphone from my car, vibing like usual and WAIT I could have sworn something just moved in the back seat, send he-

I’ve had several paranormal incidents starting when I was about six. First time I saw some that couldn’t be explained logically is when I was six, I would occasionally wake up in the morning and find myself blinded by this pure white light shining directly in my face. I kept telling my sister this and she kept insisting it was truck headlights from the road in front of the house. But the thing is this happened around six or seven in the morning during the late spring to summer when the sun was already out shining brightly and not in the direction of my window. I told my sister this two years ago and she finally admitted that there really was no logical explanation given the time of day it was happening.

The second incident is even creepier as it involved the restaurant my dad’s friend owned and he would bring me along to hang out there every Saturday. Well in the basement there was this strange and creepy drawing of a soldier with some dates and it was made from something that was a French mustard yellow color. It wasn’t paint and it had a texture like a wax crayon would give if you drew a line with one but it wasn’t waxy at all. It also wasn’t marker as the wall it was drawn on was brick. I kept feeling drawn to this picture of this young man and also feeling like something was watching me. I would just stand there for a couple of hours staring at it and feeling this creepy feeling of it looking back at me and I really couldn’t move. I kept wondering who made this picture, when was it created, and why was it in the basement of this restaurant? Ten years later I still remembered the drawing and told someone I knew who specialized in paranormal activity and the restaurant was unoccupied at the time for the past couple of years and no business in the building lasted more than four or five years. Somehow he managed to get into the building during the night and did some ritual which he told me that this ghost was haunting the place near the drawing and it was this boy who looked similar to the soldier on the wall. He somehow got the ghost to leave the building. It is now a restaurant that has been in business for the past eight years and I haven’t heard anything unusual about the place since. The specialist also said that the drawing was created using some type of acid to permanently etch itself into the wall.

The last paranormal thing that I occasionally encounter are spirits of people who have died actually talking to me. I don’t know exactly why they come to me but they do and usually don’t stay around too long. Only one stayed with me for a few years and she kept giving me all of these vivid visions of stuff that happened to her right before she died. Stuff that I couldn’t have imagined as they were far to detailed for anyone to make up randomly right down to specific car colors, models, and exact years and if they were rented cars or not.

I was in an old school building and waiting on a stairwell for a friend, when all of a sudden, I felt an unnaturally cold draft walk/go past me. As if someone was on a mission/trying to protect people. It was eerie.

And soon after that, I had the feeling to look up at some pictures on the wall, as if the spirit wanted me to help it find out who they were. I've never forgotten it. And it turned out that said spirit (teacher) was murdered while trying to protect their students. Only found out about this, not too long ago. It's so very tragic.
