Do you think Hidden Power should be the ??? type?

I think it really should be. I mean, it's a normal type move but the effect is any type but normal. It should go side by side with Curse. What do you think?

I think it should be ??? type, because it can be any type, not just Normal. And ??? means that it's type is unknown while Normal means that it's type is normal, which it isn't in 16 out of 17 cases.

Hidden and ??? are the same, the question marks are unknown, but hidden is unknown too. Why it should be ??? to make people stuck on that thing? Hidden is better because we know that we never can learn what it is until we try it ourselves.

Logically, yes, I think it should be ??? type. However, the game needs to decide whether it counts as a physical or special move, and Nintendo chose physical, so it has to show up as a physical type.

It's almost in every case another type attack.
And because it is a hidden attack, it would also be better if it is ???, Because you can only guess what type it is.

^ I totally agree with the above, and you could get confused if the name is 'hidden power' then its normal, hardly hidden.

In logic, yes. Hidden power is very much like curse. different fro ghosts, ecept hidden power is for all who can learn it. It can be any type known, allowing for full verstility. In conclusion, it should be the ???, or unknown type.

Hidden Power is HIDDEN. ??? is HIDDEN. So therefore, as there is only a 1/17 chance of it being the normal type, Hidden Power should join the ???-type ranks of Curse and Struggle.

Hidden Power should be ???, as Secret Power and Metronome should be too, not only Curse and Struggle (if you think it, Struggle shoudn´t be ???, it sounds more Normal or Fighting)
