Oh yeah.
In May's first journey, she only had 5 Pokemon, catching Munchlax toward the end of the region.

Do you think Hikari will catch perhaps 6 pokemon? Please post your opinions.

I dont think Dawn will catch that many pokemon at all and May I didnt thin caught enough either because she was catching some of my faves ^^ and so is Dawn this far :p

Well, now that Dawn's caught two Pokemon by herself and has her second contest coming up, I think she probably has some sort of sense of accomplishment and pride (not to mention a bit of an ego). Since she's a bit of a spazz (which I love), I could see her catching a lot of Pokemon on a whim.

"Ooh, how cute! Pokeball, go!"

Yeah, It's possible for here to do that. But she is a spaz, and if funny. But there aren't that cute of pokes in sinnoh unless she catches like other hoenn jhoto and kanto pokemon that live in sinnoh.

I think she probably will catch some older Pokemon. I mean, look at May...she caught a Bulbasaur, a Squirtle, and an Eevee. She also got a Munchlax, which was from the coming generation. I could also see Hikari getting a baby Pokemon like a Chingling...that would make a pretty good episode between her and James, kinda like the one with Pachirisu and Jessie. After all, the other two girls got baby Pokemon. Misty had Togepi, and May had her Eevee and [kinda] Squirtle.

Dawn is hopefully going to catch more than May ever did. Cherrubi seems to be a good fit for Dawn, as does Mothim. Maybe Froslass, Glameow and Chatot?

Yeah, that is right, isn't it? If you remember they have only used four for poor May every Festival! Let us hope Harley does not show up in Sinnoh though. And Cybercubed, once again I will apologize to you if I have offended you in other threads.

How do you know that the grand festival will only be 3 episodes? I think your forgetting that this is NOT AG, so the amount of Grand Festival episodes could be increased.

Why would they increase GF screentime? The leagues are always rushed and Hikari's contests are no more important than May's were.

^Just because May got 3 episodes for her Grand Festivals, Hikari is supposed to get the same?

I agree the leagues are rushed but the writers could time them correctly and make more episodes. They've done quite alot of new things in DP so far, we can't just assume that the grand festival will be 3 episodes while Ash's league will be like 6. We should wait it out and see what happens.
