Its not geeky. ppl just say that cuz pokemon's glory days are over and because of the anime. mostly anime is the reason. i imen, who wants a little yellow mouse following you everywhere and all it says is "pika pika. pi. pikachu." that really gets annoying.

Its not geeky. anyway geeky is a point of view i could say someone is geeky for likeing a program or a person. I dont know if this is true but i doubt there is a definition for geeky in a dictionary. (Correct me if im wrong)

I think certain aspects of it would be considered 'geeky', like playing the TCG or knowing every Pokemons moves and what level they learn them off by heart.

Pokemon can be geeky if the player plays it like a geek.
Normal playing Pokemon is no way geeky, but if you devote your entire life (or at least a large portion of it) to a game, then I consider that geeky.

I don't think that Pokémon is more geekier than... Lets say Final Fantasy or Counterstrike. There is a fine line between obsessive behaviour and passion, and I call that line: sleep. You know you're a geek if you spend your every waking hour obesessing about it.
