Do you think the E-reader and Game Boy Micro were good ideas?

Yah, that's what I'm asking.

I'm asking this because these are the two things that I don't see anyone using.

Again, I'm wondering if you think whether the E-reader and GB Micro were good ideas.

As for me, I don't really think neither of them were a good idea.

The GB Micro is useless, as the SP is small enough.

The E-reader sounded like a good idea, if I could have found one somewhere.

Yes, I feel like the E-Reader was a total ripoff. Tons of games in Japan used the E-Reader, but when they were brought over to the US the E-Reader functions were removed which really ticked me off. Waste of $40. All I ever use it for is to use my Eon Ticket E-Card, I have some Battle Cards too but you know, that just seems annoying to me now.

Game Boy Micro, what a waste of time and money. No wonder they are only $50 now.

E-Reader wasn't really good outside of Japan.
Gameboy Micro was so worthless, I forgot about it until now.

The E-Reader was a great disapointment for me. But the Micro, wow totally forgot about that thing. If they're so cheap now I better go nab one for myself.

E-Reader was a terrible move. But I like the Micro myself.

The Micro is actually better in control design than the SP because the buttons are farther apart, making it more comfortable to hold for longer periods.

I think that both were good ideas that didn't take off. I would rather have Nintendo taking risks on new ideas because otherwise we wouldn't have the Wii.

I agree, when ever I have to trade Pokemon between GBA games, I use my Micro over my SP or GBA.
E-reader, I have one, I used it with a couple of battle cards, that was it.

Yeah, I didn't care for the eReader. It just seemed unintuitive as a whole to me.

The GBM was worthless, especially after the DS had just come out. Not to mention it couldn't play GB/GBC games, and you needed a special cable to link with other GBAs.

Both of them were horrible. I was even dissapointed with them releasing the SP after the original GBA. It seemed to be too soon, and if they wanted to make a better GBA, they should've made it before the regular GBA. Then again, I got an SP, and I became satisfied with it.

The E reader, Wasn'ta BAD idea, It wasn't used to it's maximium though which let it down...
the Micro...MEH!! not important
I agree with this. If they would have released just as many features for the E-Reader outside Japan, I think that it would have kicked off. Just a shame that we never even got it in Europe.

DS to DS Lite either took the same amount of time or sooner, The SP was something that the GBA needed, The Micro on the other hand offered nothing new and was a small SP...

And the E Reader wasn't Horrible, Nintendo Could of Sent cards out to people so that fans of games like pokemon can get the event pokemon if they lived outside of the US?

I never bought an E-Reader, mainly cause I didn't give to craps about scanning cards for random functions. I hated that Ninty tried to slap 'LOLZ E-READ PLZ' on every game...and even some on the GC for GBA conectivity.

Micro was just....there. I rather have a SP than a Micro.

E-Reader was cool, but it just...vanished!
Micro was stupid, mainly because it came out right around when the DS came out. :/

The thing I liked about the Game Boy Micro was being able to take the face plate of and clean the dust out from under the screen, my sp somehow has dust under the screen

IF the E-Reader idea had been capitalised for Nintendo then it COULD have been a good idea. However, stuff like WiiConnect24 and even the dreaded microtransactions that take place digitally would render the E-reader obsolete.

As for the Game Boy Micro. I certainly liked the design and would have picked one up if they weren't £70 in Britain.

. . .
The E-Reader could've been better.
The Micro is pointless. But the different faceplates thing is kinda cool, I guess.

Well, if you are still bothered about one, they are £35 in Virgin Megastores.

I sort've liked the E-Reader, though you had to have another Game Boy to use them for SMA4: SMB3. I'm not going out and buying another Game Boy just for extra levels.
