While voice-acting is nice, it takes away your character being well...you. It's not your voice or thoughts. When it comes to the others can you imagine how much more corny the games would sound? I'd be appalled.

I'd have to say no. If they did then the games would have to be even more story involved, which isn't a bad thing but it would change the while feel of a traditional pokemon game, you would be more focused on the human characters rather than the pokemon. If you get what I mean.

Maybe for the cut scenes, but even then idk, not for the main character though, I likes to pretend I'm a real life trainer.

As a great deal of people have already said, maybe for the main opponents (gym leaders, rival, etc) but the main character shouldn't. And possibly an option to toggle it off. If it had that, it would be a nice compromise between people that want to hear voices and those that don't.

I think only the main characters (Rival, Gym Leaders, Elite 4, Champion, Leader of Evil team in the game etc.) should get voice over, not random trainers on random routes!

Add in the moral option to make decision like Bioware while talking. That would definitely be awesome.
