Do you think this is true about Ash's pokemon?

I was looking on pokebeach to see if their website is up, and I found this:


Two Future Evo's for Ash by Movie 12 - Heerosferret has informed us that at a Japanese convention, there was some 12th movie Pokemon merchandise featuring Ash... with Monferno and Staraptor. Other movie 12 merchandise from a month or so ago also featured Staraptor and Monferno, so it's even more obvious now what's going to happen to little Chimchar and Staravia. As Masamitsu Hidaka said during our interview, the writers always evolve Pokemon before some big event is going to happen. Maybe Ash and crew are going to the Battle Frontier and his Pokemon are evolving more than usual so he can compete. Not to mention Dawn's Mamoswine.


What do you think? It may not be official, but its damn near close I think...

Not only is this news ancient, it seems this same topic is coming back up every few days.

Are people really that certain Chimmy and BIRD are going to evolve in DP 116 & 118 respectively?

I doubt they will both evolve in those episodes, but it will be nice if they did.

Yep its true.

We knew about the Staraptor and Monferno figures for a while. I think the "Staraptor and Monferno being featured with Ash" mercendise is somewhat new, but its been posted already.

Mukubird will evolve into Mukuhawk in DP118 during its battle with Mukukrow Honchkrow no doubt. As for Chimchar, who knows, DP116 maybe? Sometime before July for sure though so anytime from DP116-DP140

I hope they both evolve in 116 and 118. I do not think it so far fetch that they might. Last gen the regional bird and fire starter evolve two episode between each other. The only differences is it will be the fire starter that evolve first and they both belong to Ash.

Wow...this got a lot of attention...wow well if its ancient I still wanna talk about it...I hope they evolve...I want Chimchar to evolve later...so he can take an example of Staraptor. Or, they could evolve together! Haha...

Well we they they'll evolve, we just don't know WHEN between now and the movie.

I don't know why people praise Pokebeach as a god. Anyways, this is old news. Yes they are going to evolve, yes they're in the movie and yes we'll speculate about them. Make a thread once you find out when.

Figures aside, Staravia's evolution has been a done deal. All Ash's bird get to their final forms, not mention Staravia was only a Starly for a whopping 12 episodes.

i doubt chimchar will evolve in DP 116 maybe in DP 125- DP 135
staraptor will probably evolve in DP 118
