Do you think you will be able to battle important trainers from games past?

Do you think you might get to battle an important trainer from a previous game like in Gold/Silver?

I don't think they will but I hope they do, because it would be really cool to be able to battle Ash or even Brendon/May.

It is cool for that to happen but I think they don't put anything like that, we saw no Ash or Gary in Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, and no Steven in Fire Red and Leaf Green.

Wouldn't be shocking if you battled THE PROFESSER WHO GAVE YOU THE STARTER 0-0. But I would like to battle old trainers...

Hm, not sure. I can't really see them doing this, unless they bring back Brenden or May, but I wouldn't like that, personally.

I mean, why connect this game to Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, when it can be it's own. I wanted to start a new fresh game, having nothing to do with any others.

They'll probably throw one trainer in or maybe two if they choose to do Brandon and May.

No, no important cahracter. The only reason Red and Blue were in GSC is because Kanto and Johto are connected. Houen and Tohjo and Shinou are far away from each other, so I don't think you'll see anyone there.

Maybe Brendan, or May would be a gym leader is this game. Like the 8th one in Shinou. And it would be so cool if you could battle the proffessor in this game. (good idea).

Mayve...id prefer working along side them myself..that way you could have a double battle with them rather than against them.

Although it would be nice, its doubtful..the only reason trainers returned in gsc was that johto and kanto shared a special connection,

That'd be a good idea. I always wanted to battle Professor Oak in Pokémon Red, and was quite hoping they'd added it to LeafGreen...meh.
