Do you think your city will go crazy for Lite?/Did it?

Well, tomorrows june 11 folks beleive it or not, do you think your city will have line-ups n' stuff for the DS Lite/did they already?(for people in australia and people who didn't read this thread untill after today) or will the Lite be covered up with dust on the shelves in your city? my city, personnal i think lots of people will get it but not enough for line-ups a sold out signs.
(Been readin' to many reviews XD, just read this first paragraph if you don't wantn pointles...stuff, below)

I just had a thought, i bet ya they didn't just name the DS Lite cause its bright, probobly also because its 'lite' refering to its weight ^^

So I guess so, maybe. Once they announce the Enamel Navy then I will preorder one so I have one for myself

huh, looked like a duranged DS Lite

i'm doin a new years kinda thing right now like new york is, once the clock strikes 12:01 am i'm turning on my zelda, restarting and seeing how far i get untill 2am, crap, i think i'm kinda a fan boy

i'm not getting a DS Lite till the last weekend of this month, i have $150 right now but i figure 10 more dollars should cover taxes

Oh, you live in Canada? I was gonna say, $150 would totally cover the Tax on a DS Lite, as DS Lite is only $130.

I really feel like waiting for the ice blue one. I'm tired of always getting plain colors such as white or silver. I've never gotten a colored one. But maybe I'l go to the mall tomorrow and stop by at EB games. I really m thinkning about just getting a polar white one o-0

The DS is pretty popular in my area. I'm sure some kids will be getting a DS Lite, but I'll prefer the cheaper DS.

Uhh, she is getting what she said. She said she went into the store a few days ago and they said all she has to do is pay $10-$20 after she trades in her DS to get a DS Lite.

yep. Since my DS has a few tiny scratches here and there I went to EB games with my DS and asked what the price would be to trade my DS for a DS lite and they said 10-20 bucks. I've had my DS since opening day (november 21,2004)

If you trade that in you'll get like 35$ max.No you only need ID when trading in for cash.

People aren't excited where I live. I once heard someone say that the PSP was the best game system out. Most people my age thinks that anything Nintendo related is lame until they actually play it and see how fun it is. I'm getting a DS lite though. I hate my PSP. No games at all.

Fanboys have been biting my *** for ages now waiting for this thing. ;/ So, in short, people are really excited about it. My DS is almost dead but I'll wait a bit until buying a DS Lite. Gotta save for that Wii60 this Winter...
