Nah.. I beat it in like 2 hits with my Bulbasaur, last time I played against her.

Well, it kind of depends what level your pokemon's at. If its higher, then you shouldn't have a prooblem, if not.. then you might want to do some training.

Not if you picked Bulbasaur or Squirtle ;).

If you picked Charmander, then, yeah, it's pretty strong.

Umm... even with my Charmeleon I still managed ta beat her easy, tch, and I mean easier than in RBY. As soon as I come outta Mt. Moon I learn Mega Kick from one of tha tutors there. <333

The first time I played LG, she kicked my butt because she kept confusing me with that darn Water Pluse. I even had a Pikachu and a Bellsprout. >_<

When I did a replay though, I only had a Charmeleon as I was doing a Mono-fire team. That Starmie was 0HKOed with a Flamethrower. I think if you're faster then it, it's easier. Plus, not getting confused every turn helps.

All the Gym Leaders on Fire Red and Leaf Green have their most powerful Pokemon. Misty's is Starmie. I chose Charmander at the start so it was quite hard even using my Pikachu who had quite a weak Sp.Def and was fast. Water Pulse is one annoying attack when used against you. I had to use two more Pokemon to beat her after Pikachu fainted.

Misty's Starmie is easy, i beat it with a Charmeleon/Pigeotto combo (charmeotto) quite quickly. Things are quite easy to beat in the 3rd/advance generation, unlike the first gen. Her Starmie is friggin' HARD to defeat in jap. Green and I still have not beat it... :/

I remember in RBY it was Misty that stopped me dead in my tracks multiple times over, what with that darned Bubblebeam and Recover. And then, in FRLG, the irritating Water Pulse and Recover once again made a difficult battle, but hardly as much trouble as RBY did. You've gotta outspeed the things, AND have the elemental advantage, because otherwise her attacks and confusion ram you right through.

Awesome.
YES, at that time in my game my squirtle was pretty useless for me and I had a LV 26 Pikachu that I was taking her starmie on with, the stupid starmie wouldn't die from thunderbolts and kept killing pikachu with water pulse:( ; had to try 10 times before I beat her, and sadly she was probably the hardest gym leader for me.

Hhhm, I think so, but I had chosen Charmander so it's clear. But luckily I had traded a quite strong Bulbasaur.

Not really. One Razor leaf took almost all of it's life away. Plus leech seed to KO it. Pretty simple if you have an Ivysaur
