Does Dunsparce has any reason to exist?

Pokedex reasons, plus it looks cool. Dunsparce isn't good battle wise though...

Maybe Dunsparce (the person) should have a look at this for himself.
Dunsparce has an excellent ability, and it's stats aren't completely bad. The only thing that is completely off is it's speed. And so what if it doesn't attack first.
Headbutt can cause repeated flinching and it's HP keeps it in the field.

Wo ! I use Dunsparce in battles and he rocks ! Mainly because I gave it Return. Don't underestimate it.

Havent you noticed that it's pretty common on battle frontier-trainer teams? In the first lv50 fights/rounds it's used by a couple of trainers.fidani16 said:

dunsparce can be very strong with this movepool: flamethrower, ice beam and thunderbolt O yeah and a filler move, but it needs the ability serene grace then it is really usefull

Nokotchi is based off a Japanese myth (with some claimed sightings, much like Big Foot or non-extinct Tasmanian wolves), just so you're aware. And why question its existance? Really, any Pokemon could have their existance question, because the creators could base a Pokemon off of any animal, any plant, any myth, any law of physics (Plusle and Minun), etc. But in the end, what's there for a generation is there, and those Pokemon find a permanent place in the franchise's roster. Besides, as others have said, Nokotchi can be pretty good in battle, especially with its Serene Grace ability. It's pretty cute, too... and Charizard_Fire_God, don't you dare suggest this thread move on to bashing Unknown (I like that Pokemon a lot). The best thing is to not have any bashing threads at all and to let this one die since its point's been disproven.
Oh, and I predict to see Gravy going insane in 5, 4, 3, 2....

Dunsparce is t3h h4x0rs. It actually does pretty well in the UU metagame. Dunsparce is also very cool looking, and one of my favourite Johto Pokemon. Not every Pokemon has to be strong or have a good movepool, and no Pokemon is completely useless.

Bad Stats =/= Bad Pokémon.
Dunsparce is a great pokémon if used correctly, Thunder wave makes you attack first next turn (probably because just a boosted ninjask outspeed it), making 60% flinching + Paralyze effect very annoying.
If you have bad luck, Dunsparce can beat you just using Rock slide or Headbutt.
Also Dunsparce can get all the Stats boosted from Ancientpower.
I like it. It´s great when you know how to use complex Pokémon (Not those we commonly see "Close your eyes and attack, attack, attack, attack, atack, attack...")
