Does emerald connect to pokemon box?

When i got pokemon box i was using it all the time to store my pokemon to save space like i can imagine any1 would but then when i got emerald i thought, hey could i get on pokemon box with this?

the next day before i could try my freind said he tryed it with his emerald and it crashed it:(

but im not sure if mine would do that because he had an american emerald and an english box

i have english of both does it work?

i just want to know if i should risk all my lvl100's to try it

You best believe it
It does, but you have to get the National Dex first to move Pokemon.
However, the feature where you can play R/S on your TV doesn't work with Emerald.
