well i'm wondering 2 things

1. you have a pokemon in your party in the first slot, however it's fainted. does any item attached to it still function like cleanse tag and the like¿

2. similar to 1. but instead this time with abilities, like illuminate or stench.

also specifically if you have an egg somewhere in your party and a pokemon with flame body or whatever thats fainted does its ability still function to halve the number of steps you need to take to hatch the egg¿ ;218;+;manaphyegg;= ;manafi;
