Spikes instead of stealth rock on Skamory.

Edit: Give it leftovers and replace roar with whirlwind.

Why Spikes? btw, I do have Whirlwind on him, let me just edit it that...

Because Skarmory is one of the few pokemon that can learn Spikes and use it effectively. Lots of pokemon can learn Stealth Rock.

Well how much does 3 spikes do? And also, for Salamence, would Choice Specs then a Draco Meteor be the way to go? Then assuming they switch into a pokemon with Blizzard I switch into my infernrape and take that down?

3 Spikes layers will do 25% damage to any pokemon that switch in. (except for Flying types and pokemon with the Levitate ability)

Yeah.

Oh, that does much more than Stealth Rock even when super effective...time to get a Heart Scale...

Actually,

SR (super effective) = 25%
Spikes (3 Layers) = 25%

Spikes is still very good since Spikes will damage everything that isn't Flying/has Levitate.

SR + Spikes is also a nice combo since not too many teams bother to have a rapid spinner. (If you wanted to, Rhyperior could have Stealth Rock > SD)

But I like Sword Dance on my Rhyperior, it demolishes lots of pokemon with just one sword dance and one hit...also...anyone think I should change up the set on Infernrape? I just don't know, it has 2 same moves as Rhyperior...

U-Turn / Thunderpunch > Earthquake

Close Combat covers what Earthquake would, except for Electric types which you would switch to Rhyperior with U-Turn.

Thunderpunch would be for Gyarados and other waters.

Stone Edge is fine.

You can get Thunderpunch / U-Turn bred onto Infernape by using Smeargle. (U-Turn is also a TM btw)
