Does Stst gain depend on the Pokemon's Nature?

sorry if this is in the FAQ's, I did look but couldn't find it
One of the character's in R/S said that it's pokemon has a higher Speed because of it's nature. Is that true?
(the title is supposed to be Stat gain, i mistyped!)

Yes of course that pokemons with different natures get different stats. If you need to know that pokemon with which nature what stat is better for, it is in the main site to R/S. Hope I helped.

Yes it is true but I read on one site that the stats differents for natures doesn't raise it a whole lot or lower it a whole lot. IVs and all the other stuff really affect stats.

As DarkSpectrum said, Natures raise a stat by 10%, so it's not a huge gain, but it's enough to make a difference in battle.

I think this has been thoroughly answered just by the page on the main site, so...
