"Does XXX appear in the anime?" - solution

I want to address the issue of a few threads popping up in this forum about "has <Pokemon name> ever appeared in the show?" and thought I'd give my two-cents about it to Serebii.net.

How about Serebii, who made the Pokemon of the Week articles, add Pokemon of the Week articles about the Pokemon like Porygon-2 and Igglybuff. I know the babies are horrid battlers, but he could skip the battle section and simply put in a contest section, where they are, and anime appearances. That way, the FAQ can add this:

Q: Has <such-and-such-Pokemon> ever appeared in the anime?

A: The Pokemon of the Week section has anime appearances by said Pokemon. You can easily scroll down to your suggest Pokemon and click on the link to find an article detailing strategies for using it in battle and/or contests, where it is, and where it appeared in the anime.

I may be awarded a Pulitzer for this...anyway, what does Serebii think? I know that I like his articles(although I may make up my own movesets, his contest articles allowed me to take Master Rank in Smart with a Golbat and Cute with a Smeargle), so this would work.

I believe Serebii gives the episode titles that a Pokémon Appears in...so this thread is pretty much useless.
