Have you noticed when you get the energy guru event in slateport, you can buy the vitamins for 4900, and he'll buy them back for the same price, not half like everthing else

Yeah, there exists a library of data in everyone's game that tells the game at what price items sell at. This is set and is valid everywhere you try to sell items. However, when the Slateport energy guru guy "stupendously goes for it" in low vitamin prices, the data doesn't change even though you bought the items at a lower price. So when he starts-a-selling buy as much as you can seeing as if later you don't need them, you could sell them anywhere and not lose a penny.

yea its a good investament that way you can store all your low prise vitamins in ur pc and resell them if your short on money, but at the moment i can't be bothered to wait for then when "hes going for it" as im trying to win matches at the battle frontier so i just pay the full prise

P_B88 is right. It's essentially the same as being paid 4900 for a challenge. Anyways, my thought on this is because the actual value of the vitamins is that same, but all that's changed is that they're being sold at half price. That's kinda like what MLM was saying.

I never actually thought of the fact that you get the same amount of money back if you buy them when he's "stupendously going for it". Like jono boi said, I usually just end up paying the full price because I can't afford to just wait around for him to "go for it". And I spent all my BP, so I have so much work to do at the moment. Oh well.
