Hey!!! I decided to write a poem about a guy I liked, things were going great for us for a while then out of no where I found out he had a girlfriend!!! After I spent three months trying to get the courage to ask him out I ended up finding out about this!!

So here’s the poem I wrote, I hope you all like it!!


DON’T WANT TO SAY GOODBYE

Hand in Hand but secretly alone,
wasn’t till after all the fun that your true colors shone.

For you I went head over heels,
but now my emotions have vanished and I don’t know what to feel.

Every glance ever shared,
were things that were truly cared,

One smile was all it took to win me over,
but to recover from this pain I am nowhere near sober.

Savoring every moment I saw you,
guess it was too good to be true.

The day I found out about your true desire,
my heart caught a stray flame and started it on fire.

Please tell me that it is all a lie,
because I just can’t bring myself to say goodbye!

So like I said, this poem was about how I felt when I found out he had a girlfriend, Well…tell me what you thought of it!!

That was quite good. the rhyming was excellent. and dum as it may sound, i am a guy and i can sorta relate to the feelin. i am a shy person and when i finally got to the point recently ready to ask a girl out i liked, whom i was friends with had a byofriend she didn't tell anyone of till that day.

thanx and I know it sux, they could have a least given a notice!!!!!! I mean this guy had all the time to tell one of my friends that he had a gf!!!!

life sucks, not much you can do there. but i honestly don't see my friend i like staying with her b/f any longer than a month from now, and if so... WOW. lol

Here's yet another poem about the guy I liked a lot who now has a girlfriend


Impossible yo make it easy if you're always tryin to make it so hard,
trying to figue out how you feel is like trying to read someones face while playing cards.

You walked right out of my life with that girl with no warning, no sign,
I was so close to calling you mine.

I sit by my window staring at the pouring rain,
no matter how hard I try I can't stop this pain.

With a simple smile you made all my days shine with light,
but now seeing you with her only brings storms and black nights.

I still tell myself to stop loving you,
but doing that only makes me more blue.

So while I sit here thinking about all the times I loved you all I can do is cry,
because like I said before and I'll say it again, I DON'T WANT TO SAY GOODBYE!

another pretty awesome poem. the only thing i'd say was that this line trying to figue out how you feel is like trying to read someones face while playing cards. was a bit sketchy. changing that would make it sound great.

Time to let the expert of love around SPPf, that's me, help you.

Now, the first question I have to ask before coming to a conclusion is, how long have you been in this mode of depression? Please give me an exact number.

This way I can tell you if it's your heart telling you to still take a chance with him despite this, or it's a silly crush you need to get over.

Remeber, the more days,the more likely it's your heart.

And please, be honest.

well I found out about his girlfriend like 2 weeks ago and i still miss him!!!

Hmm, two weeks.

Okay, I'll tell you now that chances are that it is your heart. However, I can not be fully sure of this. Break-ups are very hurtful and can take at least a month to get over.

By then, if you're still not over it, then it would be a good chance that your heart is telling you that breaking up isn't the right choice.

Even if he does have a girlfriend, that doesn't mean you have lost your chance. Try to be his friend. Hang out with him.

Most of all though, give him time. For many boys, it takes them time to really find their true feelings for someone. In fact, it's been known to take months, even years for a guy to realize when someone just isn't for them. (In that case, their mind plays tricks with them and over shroud their heart, which is never a good thing.)

In other words, be friendly, and try your best to see how things turn out.

If things don't go well, and he doesn't fall for you, then forget it. Dump him, and know all along it was only a crush.

However, if he does fall for you, then maybe you do have a chance with him, and from there, there's no telling what good things will come.

Two weeks is too soon to tell whether or not a relationship will work out.

Give it time.

Just remember, if it doesn't work out, then don't worry about it. Remember, if this guy doesn't fall for you, then there are others out there.

Remember, there's someone out there for everyone. ^_^
