Don't You Wish You could get your pokemon from R/B/Y/G/S/C

I think that Nintendo should create some sort of system that could transfer all of our Red/Blue/Yellow/Gold/Silver/Crystal Pokemon to our 3rd Gen. games. I mean, I lost 3 Mewtwos, my legendary birds and dogs and all of my pokemon at level 100 to the third gen. What do you guys think? *Sob*

eh... i din't start pokemon til the advance gen so it wouldn't matter...... and... well.. it wouldn't be able to happen anyways unless they reverted all your pokemon back to their "caught at" levels and tweaked some stuff with their data as well as made a way to make 2 uncompatible computing systems (gbs and gbas) which would take more money than anyone would probably care to spend and it's only purpose would server to transfer pokemon stuff.... so it's not cost effective.

Yeah, it is a pain to lose all of those hard trained ones, especially the good trained ones from GSC (Since almost everyone did the Missingno. cheat back in the RBY days. )

But, since they days of R/S/E/FR/LG, I've come to just train them over again. And now, I have more Lv. 100's than I did back in the R/B/Y/G/S/C days. (Cough*21*Cough )

It would be hard to create a device to trade your old pokemon to your Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald Games, Still it would be great if Nintendo could do it.

the only ones I really would have wanted to trade would have been Mew and Celebi... (Mew was from a "nintendo event", though it was most likely sharked by the Toys'r'us employees, while Celebi was sharked from a friend's friend's game)

Yes, I´d like to. The only pokémon I´d like to transfer is my beloved pink sneasel. I don´t care about the others, just my Lv100 pink sneasel.

I hacked in the RBY days, (not knowing about the consequences, but i seemed unaffected by glitches ) in GSC though, I wasn't really great
so pretty much, i'm fine with not being able to trade from RBYGSC

If anything, I had far more shiny pokemon in G/S/C which included the following:

gyarados (cloned one knew only mimic, which led to the shiny ditto trick)
noctowl
raticate
magneton
pidgeot (I once again have one in emerald)
magmar
nidoqueen
ditto (shiny gyarados mimic trick in R/B)
cyndaquil
typhlosion
feraligatr
charmander
squirtle

I'd be nice to transfer all those over at least, but oh well.

I had 2 shiny cyndaquil eggs, and I evolved one of them. With a shiny ditto as a parent, the odds of hatching a shiny were like 1 out of 256. I was trying to get a shiny of all 6 starters, then clone them so I could have each of their evolution stages. G/S had that glitch that enabled cloning.

NO!

There are several reasons why not.

A. We made Fire Red/Leaf Green and there is Red/Blue, we don't necessarily need to trade with these games. And there are now ways to get the Johto Pokemon. (Colosseum, Sevii Islands, Emerald extras, Altering cave...)

B. We abandoned the Hexidecimal system when we had more that 256 Pokemon. That was an extremely good thing. I don't want to fiddle with it now.

C. Missingno. and 'M can now go and gunk up our new games. Face it, they can't adjust to the games, and they would overwhelm it.

D. What about natures? Are we going to let it be random? I trade over my Alakazam, hey, it's Adamant. Doh!

E. Since we can clone all of these Pokemon, people can clone and make these riduculous teams, like six Lugias, and they can make infinite Master Balls.

F. I don't care for the old Johto games, but that is more of an opinion.

Although...
