Dorapion-Gligar

He could be the third evo of the dark starter. But the new starter types is a rumor. Personaly, a flying,fighting,rock would be more common like the current starter types and it would also be cooler if you asc me. Also, i checked the types chart and the above two type combos balance out perfectly.

But Dorapion is similar but with different types.

It's like I told my friend I think there's a small posibility that they might pull a tyrogue, and make a baby form in which can evolve into either or, though this is very unlikely

only in the fact that they are both scorpions.
Gligar is flying/ground
Dorapion is dark/poison
The types have no connection. they don't look alike.
They're both purple. So would them being the same colour and being based of the same insect make them related? no!!!!!!!
If they are related..... the only way that would make sense is if there is a pre-evo that involves a baby scorpion that branch evolves.

I'm getting mad at everyone who keeps saying gligar evolves into doriphan or people saying they are the same. well there not GLIGAR IS A BIRD THINGY AND DORIPHAN IS A CRAB LIKE THING!!!!

Then it could branch evolve.

I can definately see it...but isnt gligar ground/poison? If so, i can't see it changing types.

Gligar is Ground/Flying. And shouldn't turn into an accordion.

Gligar is a Ground/Flying type and Dorapion is a Dark/Poison type. If Dorapion was indeed a Gligar evo, they would have carried one of Gligar's types over to it (i.e. made it a Ground/Dark type).

But, like others said, there could be a baby that branch evolves.
