DP112: The Pikachu-Pochama Drifiting Chronicle!

[Gravy]

Now here's an episode I know everyone's been looking forward to.

- We see the gang on a boat.

- Pikachu and Potchama are on a deserted-looking island.

- We see a Heigani featured heavily in the preview. There's also a bunch of Tamanta.

- We see an egg that looks suspiciously like a Phione egg...

- We also see a bunch of Dainose.

Corphish seems to be the character of the day, and we get to see more of the glory that is Probopass. I don't know about you guys, but I fail to see any potential dissappointment here. As mother always said 'You can't have a convincing tropical island without indiginous aquatic wildlife or Moai statues'.
I speculate that Brock will catch Corphish.

Yay Phione egg^^
The episode seems really exciting but I hope that no one says "ash will get the egg" or some wild assumption its riolu.
I sense it is Phione as it may be leading to the next episode however they did say Dawn would need to see one making it out as it isnt the egg. The egg is puzzling?
Also I doubt there will be any captures/evolutions but the episode still sounds fun(wanting to see egg now). ^_^

Edit: Like Pokekid said on Bulbagarden it may be a baby Corphish egg like the baby Psyducks in "The Pysduck stops here"!

I reckon the gang will just get the egg and it will hatch in the Phione episode and think that Pikachu is its father and Buneary is its mother or something, then it leaves with some other Phione, haha.

I don't know why they would ever give Brock a Corphish. I wish it would've been a Rhyperior instead. Also what is exactly gonna happen with the Phionne egg?

Most likely the group take it and it hatches in the Phione episode that's coming up.

As I said, I reckon they take the egg and it hatches in the Phione episode, when it hatches the first thing it sees is Pikachu and Buneary and it will start to think that they are its parents, then the group find a group of Phione and it stays with the group of Phione.
Either that or its like Larvitar and goes with them until they find its real family.

Y'know, with the electrical-magnet trouble Deoxys always seems to cause, I wonder if possibly it'll affect the Probopass?

Also, that'd be neat if they're setting up the Phione episode as well, as continuity can never hurt.

Ah good, the anime is finally gonna put its spin on Cast Away, as Pikachu becomes a hairy, unshaved specimen of man while stuffing Piplup inside a volleyball and talking to it every now and then. Witness as he perfects the art of spearing Mantyke, boiling Corphish, and using Probopass's iron shavings as a tree skirt to give himself some sort of decency.

FUN FACT: I actually wrote "Pornopass" before realizing my mistake.

It is a disgrace to see them put a Corphish into this episode, what a way to insult one of Ash's old Pokemon.
