Draganair to Dragonite

is it just me or does it seem near imposible to evolve Dragonair without cheating. its taking a long time just to get from 50 to 51. i was wondering if there was a stone i could use to help speed up the proccess cuz im getting tired of this.

also tell me this- is it worth the wait? I sure hope so


this is off topic(sorry) but on a scale from 1-5 (5 being the best) how would you rate metroid fusion

Lucky Egg raises EXP by 1.5, otherwise, nothing.

Well worth raising, in my opinion. :B Took me a while to get my Dragonite, but it's nowhere near impossible. You want impossible, try evolving a Chansey into a Blissey. I had the worst time with that bugger. x.o;

There isn't anything that can really speed up the process ('sides Lucky Egg, if you're lucky enough to get one), but I placed Dragonite at the front of my line and put Exp. Share on it. Then I usually went to the island above Four Island...Resort Gorgeous, I think it's called? @.o;

Just keep plugging away, and you'll get yer Dragonite sooner or later. <3

Edit: And I've never really used Metroid Fusion before, so can't help you there, unfortunately.

just use lucky egg what was already suggestet and train it ad 7 island by that trainer with 2 belossoms and the trainers with 2 victribels and 2 vileplume's

Ahhh Dragonite, my favorite Pokemon. He is definitely worth the wait, and can be an absolute DEMON in the (Landlord's) right hands. I didn't have a hard time at all evolving my Dragonair into a Dragonite... You could try to gather a team full of meowths and hope that they'll give you rare candys, or you could do what I did, and just train Dragonair against the pack of 4 trainers between saffron and lavender, they give pretty nice exp.

I'd say it's worth the wait, but I also find it a daunting task if I'm not 100% devoted to it.
A bit off topic, but if you hatch a Pokemon that needs evolution through friendship, I find it speeds up the process due to lower EXP needs.

It's like evolving Pupitar. Equip it with a licky egg or exp share until it's high enough to battle on its own and it'll evolve. you're pretty close.

Yes, evolve it. Dragonite is far better than dragonair (by appearance, though, I don't know)

I love evolving pokemon, it's easy to me. Though, shiny hunting is not T_T I got a Salamence, Umbreon, etc. Just be patient. And go fight the two trainers near the Unown Ruins a lot. Free healing if you Chansey Dance too! =D

if you happen to have 4 rare candies lying around, and your dragonair is that hard to raise, you could use them. instant dragonite.

Fight all the trainers on Southern Seven Island, use Vs. Seeker, and heal with the Chansey Person.

It takes awhile but it's worth it.
Use Lucky Egg and a Traded Dragonair will gain more exp.
Use it in the Eilte Four too. That is a good place to train.

Off Topic: I really like Metroid Fusion. Kind of Frusterating at times but an awesome game nonetheless.

Oh that sucks I had a ton of rare candy at one point but I sold em all thought they were useless

It kinda is, seeing it takes a ton of EXP to raise them. But its worth it in my opinion. Personally I love Dragonair, I prefer them over Dragonite.

I saw lance use Dragonair in the manga against Yellow. It was so awesome

This topic is beyond pointless. Use this little thing called patience, and battle higher level opponents. Dragonair is no different than Larvitar or Shelgon or anything else.

Well basiaclly i'd say quit now.. becuase if you can't be patient to evolve it you honestly really don't want it!

and if you want a fast.. hollow.... evolution try Salmence hes only slightly weaker...

And Blissey is pretty easy to get .. even I have one (it was so fast I can't remember how long it took lol)

For future reference when leveling up pokemon, use double battles with a strong poke. The weaker one will get the same effects as a battling pokemon, instead of a pokemon with exp.share or the swap-out technique.
