And your statement about hating GT is a contridiction, m'friend. If you don't like GT then why did you even request a banner with GT characters in it?
Anyways, is there really a point to this thread? I know that it's a thread about Dragon Ball, but where is the topic to disscuss, the main idea of this thread?

What's your favorite character from the series?
Mine is Piccolo. Why? I'm not for sure, but his general character is just awesome. His development is one of the best character developments in the Dragon Ball series, too.

My favourite will ever be Kuririn. He´s in the story for such a long time and has a nice devolpment behind him. I cryed when he died for the first time ^^;
He´s always funny
( that episode before Son Goku´s third budokai when everybody was waiting for Son Goku and Kuririn was so proud of himself because get became bigger and was shocked because of Son Goku´s growth, poor guy)
and is a good fighter as well ( gotta love his and son goku´s fight at Son Goku´s second budokai tournament).
I´m glad Toriyama gave him a nice family with one of the best female characters in DB.
It´s a pity that human characters were shafted later in the series because of the almighty saiyajin. Kuririn still had a bigger role on Namek, what made the freezer arc watchable for me.
But Picollo is great as well. I love his relationship toward Son Gohan. I think Picollo was a better father than Son Goku XD

yeah i liked the freeza arc, not because it was the longest or anything, but because people stayed more true to their power levels. also it was the only one where we have an overwhelmingly powerful enemy here, unlike the buu and cell sagas where cell and buu get constantly surpassed by either fusion or ussj or ssj2.

Yeah, Tien was pretty cool, his character should of been expanded somehow, in my opinion. Though I can't really see how you could continue his character than it is already. I mean he didn't have that much potential for more development after Dragon Ball. :\
DBZ thread eh? I'm a Vegeta fan. He is menahical, cunning, and ruthless. And yet you feel sorry for him and his painful past. Anyway, since DBZ uncut ended, there isn't much left to see of DBZ anymore except movies 12 and 13. Any release dates announced for those yet? I say Freeza saga redub now ! I'm hooked on DBZ uncut. Which btw should've aired daily a second time. Good thing I taped the good eps.

Aside from those two movies, there IS that two part special animation made for a game called Plan to Erradicate the Saiyans (or best known as the "OVA"). However, there's a small chance that would ever get dubbed. Probably not likely, either.

Vegeta will forever be my #1 Anime Character. He's got everything a character needs to have. He's awesome. He's atitude inspires me and I will forever be a fan of Vegeta. DBZ was in my opinion the Best Anime Series Ever Created and I think I'll never change my mind about it... Too bad GT was so sucky. They should have continued it better... But Akira (the creator) is now working on many RPG Games, and all seem to be REALLY good. He's the one who made the Dragon Quest game series and now is working on a new game called Blue Dragon. It seems pretty cool and really reminds me of DB. Here is a link to a site with more info:

It's not like FUNi is going to put more than three episodes on the DVD if they redub the Freeza saga anyway. FUNi likes to put the smallest number of episodes on each DVD so that they can make more. If they wanted to, they could have finished the uncut Saiyan saga in five DVDs, but they chose to stretch it out to about 12 or so.seizureman said:
