It's so far been confirmed that the game will take place in Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT. Over 130 characters will be selectable in the game and that characters can transform during battle or you can choose their transformed states before battle. Sixteen stages will be available in the game, making that an additional five included opposed to the previous game.
The Story Mode will be similar probably to that of the Legend of Goku games as you can travel around on the map and in cities while interacting with the people of the areas.
The list of confirmed characters so far ar:
The PS2 release is expected sometime probably in October, while a Wii release is to release much later on.
The Wii version will take advantage of its controllers, allowing the player to pull back the remote and stab forward to fire a charged Ki blast, like the Kamehame-Ha. They can also raise their hands into the air and bring them down, similar to charging up and firing the Genki Dama (Spirit Bomb).
