dragonite family or salamance family?(bagon, dratini, etc)

who do you like better, salmance family or dragonite family? personally i like salamance family better because it can learn good egg moves such as hydro pump.

I choose salamence. It has slightly lower defenses, but it has both higher speed and sp. atk. It gets better egg moves and it actually looks like a dragon, too.

I voted for the Dragonite family. They have access to Ice Beam. Salamence is usualy too busy dragon dancing on the first turn which is the perfect time for Dragonite to launch an ice beam at him.

More like, "Fast CBSalamence uses CB Rock Slide on Slow Dragonite and gfg Dragonite" =/ And actually, you have it backwards; Dragonite is the one who DDs on the first turn.

Salamence. Looks better, is better. Doesn't get much simpler than that in the Pokemon world.

Dragonite is much better all around. Only Mixed tanks stop him on Boltbeam-Subpunch combo.

DDnite is rare now. Salamance also has a 10% of missing, and Dragonite will probably survive one of his rock slides... barely. A single Ice Beam and he is gone.

I just evolved my Dragonair earlier today, and I couldn't be happier with my sub-punching Dragonite. And, thanks to its nature and IVs, it's the fastest thing on my team by a long shot.
