I have a 30 day trial on dreamweaver, and I know how you upload... But how do you get a domain name, or how do you know what adress (www.example.com) your website i once you upload it?

If you want to get your own domain like www.[insert].com, you need to pay to buy your own domain. There is some sites like this that'll have free domains.

http://hellodomains.net has cheap domains.

...But then how do I upload my website onto that domain name from dreamweaver?
Edit: I'm using dreamweaver to make my website, it can upload, but I'm not sure about host... (I have made a website before, but I didn't upload it or anything, someone else did)

You need to upload all the files you need for your site onto your host.
To upload your files I recommend using an FTP programm like SmartFTP(there are also some hosts whích have got a file manager to upload your files without using an FTP program).

To get the domain, simply register the domain and make it point to your site's current address then.

Or, sometimes, there is a Web Publishing Wizard already on your computer. You can also try that in case you don't want to download things.

So... Basically, I upload files using a host, then I buy a domain name, and after that, I point it towards the uploaded documents on the host, and start uploading to the domain name instead?
